STOP SAYING THAT! Hero Yukari Mitsuru Junpei Akihiko Ken Aigis Chihiro Ikutsuki ChidoriWow. I've only played a couple months into the game so far, but unless a bunch of characters do complete 180's later on, I couldn't disagree more with some of these.
Hero - Not much choice here.
Yukari - Maya is probably too much of a goofball for Yukari, but I can't think of anyone more appropriate.
Mitsuru - Mia. She doesn't talk shit about you and I can totally see Mitsuru doing the
Junpei - Gotta be the Butz.
Akihiko - I'm seeing more Edgeworth here. I can't really explain it more than that, but maybe it's the way all the girls flock around him.
Dunno who Ken or Aigis are yet.
Chihiro - I don't think Chihiro is particularly unlucky like Maggey, but she's definately not energetic or cheerful.

I couldn't think of anyone better for Yukari either, so that's why I went the Maya (both female lead xD.) And yea Mitsuru and Mia kinda of the same personality, but Franny has a whip *wapish* 'I will execute you all!". And I was turn between Edgeworth and Godot for Akihiko, I went with Godot cause they're both pretty protective and tied to the past...hmm maybe Shinji =
is better for that. Chihiro does get blamed/framed for something serious starting about IIRC 6 or 7 of Commu. And Ikutsuki is Gant! Just look at the crazy hair and glasses and "jokes".

While Godot's drive for revenge and Dahlia's casual cruelty fit their roles well, in the larger context of the story, their casting causes certain problems. Most obviously, we'll never get the Inigo stand-in's motives established if he can't plausibly think the Masked Man might be his target, and, well, Phoenix and Dahlia are different genders. Plus Godot's personality is much too abrasive for a friendship with Gumshoe as Fezzik to seem plausible. Therefore, despite my attachment to the idea of Godot as Inigo, I'm passing the role to Edgeworth, and making Count Rugen everyone's favorite Magnificent Bastard, Manfred von Karma. And hey, Karma actually did kill Edgey's father, so it works even better!
Also, it's no longer going to be the Dread Pirate de Killer. Rather, it's the infamous Bandit King Mask*DeMasque! Though perhaps de Killer is still one of the 'incarnations.'

Greg does sort of fit Sweeney's backstory better, though, what with the whole getting screwed over by a prominent legal figure over something really petty thing, although I can't actually imagine him killing anyone. ...nor can I imagine von Karma going to a barber for a shave, as he probably wouldn't trust one to give him the PERFECT shave. ...the rape is right out as well.
