Stickler stood up, shaky and bleary eyed. He attempted to steady himself, and ended up falling flat on his arse. Just about missed the spear too. He'd gotten enemas before for that time when he was badly constipated and it wasn't very nice. And a spear might be more...fatal?

"Oh, sorry madam. Would you terribly mind passing me my scholar's cap?" he said regally.

Blake leaned against the wall and had another drink. He considered asking the fellow his name, but if he waited things would get explained anyway. No reason for him to call too much attention to himself if he didn't need to. He was almost out of whiskey. He'd need to pick up some more when this little debacle was over.

Apollo, after recovering from the shock of the crash, looked at Stickler blankly for a moment. He seemed familiar, and the attorney had a horrible sickening feeling at the pit of his stomach, like he'd just eaten a bad hotdog.
Linali creaked into motion and whipped up the cap off the floor, examining it with vagure interest before handing it down to Stickler.
"Here you go!"
She chirped cheerfully.

Klavier'd been scribbling doodles of the Gavinners logo on every single sheet of paperwork he'd been filling out. He'd been doing this for the past hour or two and didn't want some wanker coming in and taking the credit for it. He whipped out his mobile phone and sent Blake a text.

Stickler stood sharply up and put on his cap. His head felt lonely without it. Stickler's attention then turned to the all too familiar attorney who had been gawking at him. "Long time no see, Mr. Justice," he mumbled bitterly. He was the last person Stickler wanted to see, considering the wound to his reputation he'd endured when he appeared in court.

Blake's phone vibrated and he checked the message he was sent. While the others were talking he decided to slip off unnoticed to do as he was ordered.

Once in the crime scene he had a look around. It looked a little different this time than the last, but that could be because the body was no longer there. He needed to find evidence of the real killer that the police might have missed when they combed through. Blake silently sent Klavier a text back.

Wanna give a guy a hint, boss?

He attached several camera phone pictures of the scene along the with text.

It clicked. The light bulb flickered on above Apollo's anntenae.
".... The pantie thief." He spoke quickly without thinking, and Linali snorted incredulously, her eyebrows raising into perfect arches.
"Pan...ties? Thief? Thieving of the panties?!" Her brow furrowed as she pieced the information together, and Apollo cringed slightly as he waited for the impending shriek.

Linalli stared at Misty with a blank smile firmly in place. She really didn't have a clue what was going on.
It took all of Apollo's inner strength not to laugh, and he instead gave Stickler an awkward, lopsided grin.
"... S-Sorry. You're right. Anyway, umm, Ms Blake?"
"..Yes?"
"The crime scene... Please." Before I start laughing... he thought with a slight grimace, all too pleased when Linali promptly started rushing down the right corridor.

Stickler shook off the dust and grime that had been supplanted onto his glorious robes. These cost a ridiculous amount of money, he had to give back that paltry games console he'd bought to take apart. There was a bit of hullabaloo because he'd forgotten to put back in the cooling fan, but who cares? Stickler got an A on that paper.

"I shall follow you! This place is rather intriguing, there is much I could learn about Japanese culture!" he exclaimed, much to the annoyance of Apollo.

Apollo sighed angrily, wondering vaguely whether it would be possible to lose Stickler on the way to Viridian's office. Unfortunately, the journey was short and sweet, with no possible escape. Damn. Linali leapt over the police tape nimbly and bobbed over to the open door, waiting patiently. Apollo chose the less athletic method of ducking underneath the bright yellow strips, causing his antennae to get caught for a few moments.
Once he'd gotten free, he half stumbled into the room, muttering, as Linali sniggered.

Blake blinked at the group starting to file in. He'd hoped they'd take a little longer getting there, but other sets of eyes might not be all bad.
"Ooo, what a lovely carpet pattern!" Misty exclaimed.
"Ah...hey, Misty." Blake put himself between her and the crime scene. "Do me a big favor and run to my car. I left a small blue bag in there. It might be buried under a bunch of stuff, and it's really easy to miss, but I need it. So I really don't want you to come back until you've found it. Okay?"
"Okay!" Misty skipped happily back down the hall. Blake let out a sigh of relief.
"I am so sorry." He apologized to anyone who might have needed it. Then he noticed the cluster of people. "Ah, it might not be a good idea for everyone to come in. You might step on or bump into something important." Hoping that he wouldn't need to perform crowd control Blake had another drink from his canteen.

Apollo had already stepped into the room, and raised an eyebrow at Blake in question. It couldn't exactly be called a 'crowd', and he wasn't going to let Stickler in anyway.
Not a damn chance.
Linali hovered by the doorway unsurely, nibbling on her thumbnail.
"Uhm, Mr. Justice, I... I don't think I really want to come in..."
"I understand, don't worry about it. D'you mind hanging around just in case I need to ask you any questions, though?"
"Of course not!" Now assigned a duty, Linali stood guard outside the room, a somewhat fierce frown set on her face.

Klavier'd been walked through the studio for a few minutes. The ever tedious paperwork wasn't nearly as fun as writing a song. ...maybe he should write a song about boredom...in German. Aha! A hit.

Apollo went about examining the room at a steady pace. It was a chilling scene- the amount of blood that remained explained enough about whazt had taken place there, but the white outline of the where the body had lain just made it that little bit more eerie. The young attorney pressed a finger to his forehead, deep in thought, as he examined the autopsy report.

Outside the room, Linali was rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet. Losing interest in that activity, she began to pace back and forth, clapping her hands in a slow, steady rhythm. Her clapping muffled out the sound of the footsteps behind her, and her knees nearly buckled as a pair of calloused hands clamped down on her shoulders.
"... Boo." Came the cool voice at her ear. ~~Linali promptly shat herself~~
"AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!! CLAUDIO, YOU'RE HORRIBLE!" She promptly span around to face the silent stalker, hands on hips, looking ruffled. Her dark haired costar smirked ever so slightly- just enough to irritate her further.

"Eh?" Blake turned his head towards the scream. He considered poking his head out the door and seeing what had startled Lin, but then he might have to get involved with something. He wasn't all that keen on adding more work. Instead he turned his attention on the defense attorney. He'd seen him around, and even watched a trial or two of his. He'd been interested about the boy that the prosecution killer had taken under his wing, but it had faded after a while. The truth was that Mr. Justice just wasn't all that interesting to watch. Even now while he examined the crime scene Blake found himself incredibly bored.
Then again it may not even be Mr. Justice he found boring at all. Maybe he was just getting old and not much of anything could really interest him anymore. He huffed some air and scanned the crime scene again.
Finding clues wasn't really his strong point and Blake was sort of at a loss as to what Mr. Gavin expected him to do here. If he had said 'go follow this man' or 'get me proof this guy is doing this' Blake'd be a helluva lot more useful. He was starting to feel more like this man's errand boy than a private dick. He took a black camera out of his coat and started snapping pictures of the crime scene. If he was going to contemplate things he might as well look like he was doing something.

[OOC: Ya know, at some point someone is gonna let me in on what's going on. Then I can be all 'AHA! BLAKE FOUND SUMFIN!]

Apollo chose to ignore the commotion in the corridor and set about looking around the room, taking care not to disturb anything. She was looking for something, anything, that could hint as to what had been used to kill the victim. Nothing seemed to fit the description, and his brow wrinkled further in thought.

"What're you doing out, Lin? I thought you'd been arrested..." Claudio muttered offhandedly, clicking his tongue in disapproval. "... The Police are shoddy these days..."
"I got let out just for today because of good behaviour!"
"And Scarlet, I imagine."
Linali puffed out her cheeks in response and turned her back on the tall man, petulantly sticking out her bottom lip. Ah, how'd he'd missed teasing her. The faces of ~~evil~~ disgruntlement she tended to wear when he was around were rewarding in themselves. Not only that, but it was ridiculously cute.

Stickler dived behind a tapestry when he saw the blonde headed prosecutor bopping into the corridor. What the deuce? The two bloody attorneys that disgraced the beautiful name of Stickler seen again in the same bloody day. It was as terrible as the last Harry Potter sequel. Klavier pretended not to Stickler's melodramatic dash behind the tapestry, and slowly walked past it. After hearing a sigh of relief, he ran back and "accidently" plodded on Stickler's foot. Stickler, always one for the drama, let out a ferocious wail and flopped to the ground into a heaving heap. Twice in one day. What the hell?

Apollo cringed at the fresh wailings and sighed, resting his thumping head against the wall. Why couldn't people ever just be quiet?!

Claudio and Linali ignored the wailing and spoke in hushed, angry tones, firing silly little insults such as 'potato nose' back and forth. It eventually ended when Claudio yanked hard on one of the short young woman's curls, and she flounced off down the corridor in fury, walking straight into the police tape. She fell over it in a perfect arc, landing flat on her face with a crunch.
Claudio couldn't stop laughing.
"Ah Lin, you're such a riot. ... Lin? ... Oh, balls."

"Lots of screaming today." Blake said off handedly. "I doubt we're going to find anything useful in here. If the killer was a good boy he wouldn't leave any evidence behind." He took a few more snapshots of the place. The flash of his camera swallowed the room almost entirely. "Those were really precise cuts on the body too..." Blake muttered. "Any knife he'd have used he would want to keep." He stepped over to a window and looked out of it. "Course the knife didn't kill her. If I could just have a look at the body..." He was blathering again. He took a drink from his canteen to shut himself up.

Edan walked from behind Linali dusting off his hands. He coughed then replied. "Soz Lin, il n'y a pas de poubelles. Had to throw my crisps somewhere. They were fucking hideous." He extended his hand out to help her up, which she begrudgingly took, muttered "don't fucking like cheese and onion".

Klavier jumped slightly at the sight of the midget appearing from the darkness. Fucking Gremlins. "UH...how did you get here?"

"Got bored and wandered over. Simple as. Oh Lin, get the cleaners to clean out those poxy air ducts. The state they're in is bloody appaling," he said, wagging his finger impudently at Klavier.

Apollo asked Blake offhandedly, not really expecting any information back. It was worth a try though, her supposed.

Claudio was slightly diturbed by the sudden emergance of Edan, but was somewhat glad to see the Linali was in one piece. The girl in question wobbled slightly, before stamping on the offending packet of crisps in distress. This merely caused her to slip up and fall flat on her arse, legs flailing about in the air.
Claudio stifled a chuckle, which instead came out as a deformed snort.

Edan pulled his hair in frustration. Picking people up once was bad enough, never mind a second time. And for fucks sake, she was a ton weight compared to him. "I'd stop flailing about your legs if I were you. You're giving these other twats a jolly show. Like that time you ran out of the toliet with your pants down and Mum and Dad were at the bottom of the stairs. XD" he chuckled, and burst into laughter and Linali's "enraged" whine. Linali promptly grabbed Edan's left foot and pulled hard, causing him to join her in the world of painful rearends. It was almost like a seesaw effect- as soon as he fell, she shoot up to her feet like a bullet, blinking slowly.
"OH! S-Sorry Edan!! I only meant to pull myself up...."
It didn't help to ease her guilt anymore to discover that he had fallen straight onto the pile of mushed crisps.

Blake looked sort of surprised that he was being spoken to.
"Well if he's a stalker then there's a chance he's really close right now." He replied and had another look out the window. "Plus wherever she was killed would need to be easy access to this room, and the only way he could know the inner workings of the studio is if he worked here, or could see into it from somewhere."

"EEEEEEEE!" Screamed Misty and she dropped all of the bags in her arms. "KLAVIER GAVIN! Ich liebe ihre musik!" She bounced up to him. "Ich treffe so viele berühmte leute heute!" Her German was fluent (though babel fish's is not) and her smile was exceptionally bright.

Blake could have sworn he heard his niece screaming.

Stickler was attempting to get away in the confusion, but got collared by Klavier on the way out. "You'd better stay where you are, ja? Or else that breaking and entering charge might stick~" he said in a sing song voice ~~ALL THE WHILE TAKING A LARGE BITE OUT OF HIS HUGE MOUTH~~ Stickler shut his eyes tight. Blast! The door was only twenty feet away, he could've made it. Those bloody pointless gym classes had built up his stamina somewhat. If only he'd stop wearing his robe in PE...

Apollo nodded slightly, more in thought than in response to Blake. Maybe I should look around the building... Linali knows her way around, so that'd be useful...

Linali chuckled slightly at Stickler's distress- and felt a bit mean for doing so, but she couldn't help herself. Claudio distanced himself away from the group and looked down at his watch, and paled quickly.
"Aw shit, they're gonna start filming soon. See you later, Linlin."
"WAIT! You're all still filming... Without me?!" Linali excalimed with an incredulous expression, sounding and looking horrified. She suddenly felt very... Alone.
"Well, yeah. We're all expecting you to be out be tomorrow. No offense Linlin, but you wouldn't even beat your way out of a paper bag because it would be wasteful. Killing is just... Yeah. Not happening." The dark haired man shrugged apathetically, as if his statement were completely obvious. When Linali became big eyed and mushy, clutching his arm with a fevered grip, he began to run.
"OKAY YEAH LINLIN GOTTA GO NOW ALRIGHT GOOD!"
"YOU PEOPLE ARE SO NICE!" Linali waved as Claudio staggered the rest of the way down the corridor.

Edan was tapping his foot impatiently, and as loud as he possibly could. "Look Lin, this is a dead fucking end. Johnny Depp there hasn't found any clues and Mr. Big City Deetektuv hasn't either. I vote we all go to Subways."

Stickler nodded in approval. "The vegetarian options they provide there are absolutely delectable!"

Edan winced at the mention of the word "vegetarian". He walked over to Stickler and grabbed his arm. "You know, with a bit of work in your tastes, I could get to like you, Lip Balm".

"No no no!" Linali pouted slightly, resembling a perturbed fish of some kind. "I'm not allowed to go anywhere without Mr. Justice. You can go on though and abandon me, Edan, I don't mind!" She spoke cheerfully despite her word choice, and generally seemed to be in a much better mood after the encounter with Claudio. Apollo's head popped from around the door frame, a blank expression set firmly on his ~~gigantic forehead~~ face.
"Miss Blake, I think it would be a good idea to explore more of the building..."
"Yessir!"

"I...can't...walk...any...faster!" Linali huffed as she broke into a run, managing to overtake Klavier without falling flat on her face. (A feat which even she herself was surprised at, especially on such a smooth, slippery floor...)
Apollo turned the corner sharply, coming to a halt outside studio 1. He peered in through the glazed window sheepishly.
Filming huh... Seems like the murder didn't affect produc- His thoughts were cut short as Linali skidded and barreled into his side, and thus, he let out a skull shattering yell.
Linali managed to shriek out a muffled apology in the chaos, clinging onto his arm for dear life.
Somehow, they miraculously stayed upright, but both shared the same terrified expression.

Klavier let out a ~~WHOOPING COUGH GET THE MAN SOME BENILYN~~ roaring laughter at seeing the two distressed klutzes before him. Taking about five minutes to catch his breath again after laughing and being a twat, he straightened up and shook his head, knocking the fucking annoying unicorn ponytail into his face.

'Big Brow and Fraulein' were already down the other end of the corridor, gazing at 'Studio 4'. Both had gotten sick of Klavier's obnoxious laughter and had spent the past minute or so gazing in each of the studio doors.
The door to Studio 4 was decidedly different from the others. The paint was flaking, the door itself was somewhat battered, and appeared to be sealed off (extremely poorly) with black tape.
On closer inspection, said tape had been freshly placed. Suspicious.
Apollo's curiosity got the better of him, despite Linali’s frantic protesting.

Blake let everyone move about and do whatever they were best at. It would make searching much easier if he were doing it alone. He half wondered if that was why Klavier had shown and somewhat shooed them away to other things, but figured that the man probably didn't have that much foresight and shrugged the notion off.
"HI UNCLE JAKE!" Misty bounced into the office with an arm full of blue bags. Blake felt like punching a wall. "I wasn't sure which bag you wanted, so I just brought them all!"
"That's great...thanks..." Blake forced on a smile. "Just set them on that desk, would you?"
"OH! I saw Klavier Gavin!" Misty happily informed him. "He didn't talk to me though. I think he was really busy."
"Yeah, he gets that way." Blake wasn't really listening, and the more Misty yammered on the more he drowned out. He needed to focus on the case at hand. Lin was going to need as much help as she could possibly get.

Stickler and Edan had eventually reached the Subway after Edan tried futily to drag the snobby student out of the five or six bookshops that were on the way. The wait in the line was nothing short of excruciating, due to the stupid fat bitch standing a few places inf front of them, attempting to narrow down her choices to half a baby or a roast beef. Edan made sure to make to beeping noises when that truck moved away from the counter.

Eventually getting pissed off, he grabbed Stickler's arm yet again and pulled him into the chipper next door. The line was well shorter in here than in the sandwich place, but the service was fucking atrocious. The stupid fucker at the counter misheard Edan's order of a chip roll as a "chick" roll, and gave him a chicken roll slathered in a horrible chunky garlic mayo. Stickler had to grab Edan after he nearly tried to hop the counter in an attempt to throttle the offending service man.

Edan was somewhat cheered up when Stickler gracefully tripped over a loose block of cement on the street and fell face first into a pile of dog shit.

"...this is absolutely appaling! I must say, I am shocked! Offended! The city council should be ashamed, ergo I must write a angry letter to them to make sure that another hapless bumbler shall not fall face first into a pile of canine excrement!" ranted Stickler.

...this was going to take a while.
