Ah, another normal day in the Court Records world... You're currently walking. You could be going to work, to school, just out for a stroll... whatever. It's a nice day. Birds are singing, the sun is shining, and the trees are swaying in a gentle breeze... What a perfect day...
Suddenly, you see people running the opposite direction that you're headed. "Where are they running to?" You ask yourself. You put it in the back of your mind as you continue on your way, more people running past you. Suddenly, you see buildings and cars off in the distance beginning to crumble and collapse. As they turn to rubble, you notice they're being pulled into some type of black hole! You don't know what other-worldly force is causing this madness. You begin to ponder your choices, but as the chaos moves ever-closer, you realize there is only ONE possible course of action. You must...

RUN LIKE HELL!

Okay folks, this RP is pretty simple. All you have to do is jump in. You can describe yourself in a paragraph or list form or not at all, whatever. You just introduce yourself minding your own business until you see the chaos ahead, at which point you must begin running for your life! You may use vehicles, but nothing that gets you a mile away in an instant. Just basically roleplay like normal, running away from impending doom (unless you can run for long enough, that is...)

Jay and Jeremy Slezak were out for a stroll, noticing the eerie calmness in the air. They were dressed in their normal attire of blue outfits with their black cases strapped onto their belts, wearing black shoes and sunglasses. The gentle breeze was blowing through Jay's curly black hair and it felt good against his face. The sun made a nice reflection off of the sunglasses which were protecting his hazel eyes. Walking next to him, his brother Jeremy also felt the breeze blowing around his nearly-glowing blonde hair, sometimes pushing a few strands in front of his green eyes, which were also being covered with sunglasses. They were both headed for the police station, their break being nearly over. It was another day of nine-to-five work. They were detectives and they had the badges to prove it.
"Hey, Jay? Doesn't it feel strangely peaceful today?" Jeremy asked his brother.
"Actually, you're right. It kinda does feel unusually calm..." Jay replied in agreement, "I wonder what's--WHOA!"
"What is it, Jay? Oh my!" The brothers were taken aback from what they saw distantly in front of them. Buildings were collapsing, roads were being torn apart, and everything began getting sucked into what they could only describe as a black hole.
"Oh my god... What do we do?!" Jeremy asked, beginning to panic.
Jay could only think of one thing to do. He quickly unfastened the straps of the hoverboard on his back, set it on the ground, fired it up, and got on. "Hop on! Hurry!!"
"Alright!" Jeremy exclaimed, quickly getting on as well. They began flying off in the other direction.
As they sped off down the road, they saw someone walking the opposite way they were going ((The next poster)) and slowed down. "Hey, you! Please hop on the board! We have no time to explain, but there's trouble coming!"

Ryuuichi was slight shocked by the sudden encounter. "Uhh... alright but why?" He asked as he got onto the board. Suddenly he looked back and saw the huge black hole. "Holy Shi-Floor it!"

Jay did as the new person requested, and upped the thrust to its highest level. As buildings and other objects blurred past, Jay figured he'd ask some questions. "Okay. First of all, what's your name? Second of all, as you just noticed, everything's going crazy. Your thoughts on the sudden turn of events?"
The board screamed past more people as it continued to move in the opposite direction of the black hole. All the brothers could do is shout out and hope people could get away in time.

Ashlie was just sitting in the coffee shop looking at her DS. While fiddling with her black, curly hair she heard a great sound, and turned to the window. Ashlie saw people running in mobs, pushing anyone who got in their way. She opened the door to look at the problem. There was a black hole where the road used to be, sucking in anyone close. Before Ashlie knew it she was running, clutching her black coat, unsure what else to do.

A young girl dressed in a short, greyish coat was wandering around the town, looking at the buildings with her left eye. The right one was closed; a bit of blood was coming out of under her eyelid. The girl didn't seem to care about it, though. She flung her silver fringe aside and walked up to the funeral parlour and looked at the coffins shown on the exposition. The girl's sight dwelled on one of the coffins.
"I'd like to rest in that one, when I'll be dead" - she said to herself and giggled. Suddenly, she heard something; it was kind of crash, mixed with painful screams. The young one looked at the source of such a horrible sound; her face turned pale. With a short shriek, she turned away and ran.

RAN FOR HER LIFE.

Jay and Jeremy looked behind them. The black hole was moving forward, but they were getting ahead of it, putting more distance between them and the unknown terror. They would just have to keep going. Going as fast as they could. And if the hoverboard were to run out of fuel, they'd have to run. Run hard. Faster than they'd ever run before. But they were ready if the need arose.
Jay saw more people running their way and said, "Ah, good. More people are catching on. We need to keep going! Man, what a day this is turning out to be."

"Lucky Red seven...my face!" She bashed the roulette again, which had a black thirty four.
"I finally had a chance...and I lost! I want a refund!" She pointed at the waiter.
"You lose, you booze, sweetheart."
Suddenly, he fell to the ground, punched by Lili.
"No one says I DRINK!" Several people suddenly backed away from her as she turned to the door...

But then, part of the wall suddenly gave way and fell into a mysterious black hole, people screaming and running for the door. A few were unfortunate, being slow and sucked up, along with jackpot machines and coins.

"What the hell is this, Star Wars?!" She yelled as she burst through the crowd into the streets. The casino was broken into pieces by the hole as she looked back, running...

Cady danced down the street, oblivious to the chaos around her. One hand was in the pocket of her light purple hoodie and the other held her iPod. Her green eyes were closed and a few strands of her dark brown hair fell out of her messy bun as she headbanged to the loud music coming through her earphones.
"With your nerves in tatters,
As the cockleshell shatters,
And the hammers batter,
Down your door,
You better run!"
Suddenly, a strong wind blew the earbuds right out of her ears.
"What the fresh hell is this?!" she shouted, very startled. Her eyes shot open and she whirled around to face a HUGE black hole.
"...AWESOME!"
She whipped out her cell phone to snap a picture, but it flew right out of her hand as it was sucked into the black hole.
"Oh, right, it's a black hole... OH MY GOD IT'S A BLACK HOLE!"
Cady turned and ran like hell.

((Ha...! I'm hoping this topic catches on! Just like at the Random Insanity board where it was first posted (not by me of course... I just threw it up here because I thought it'd be fun. All credit for the idea goes to the original creator... who's name I can't think of right now.)))

"What a freakin' day!" Jay remarked as the board continued to zip along.
"Just like a trial Phoenix Wright is defending, everything can change in an instant," Jeremy said with as much poeticism as he could for being in such a panicked state.
"QFT; Quite Freakin' True," Jay replied, "And oh what a turnabout this day has brought!" He began to think, 'Man, if only we had some radio-signal interceptors, we could hack into every frequency and warn people of the impending danger, kinda like that guy in that one movie... "I am Legend", I think.'

Chu was scared. She ran as fast her body would allow to, but she knew that it isn't fast enough. Her fatigue grew; the girl wasn't the one for long running, even if it would determine her life. Chu stopped for a few minutes to rest a little bit; her fate was different though. She felt pressure of running people; they selfishly pushed her, thinking only about saving their life. Soon, Chu found herself running between them - it was better than getting trampled and dying in dark matter's embrace. She wasn't sure how long she will be able to run without breaks.
"That crazy run might be my last." - she thought.

Violet was walking along a path when she suddenly saw many people running. She didn't know why they were running, but she was intrigued to join. She shrugged her shoulders and shook her head. She had nothing else to do, and sometimes, you just needed to run. Stop facing your fears, forget about things, and just run and leave them behind. And that was exactly what she planned to do. She strayed off the path, in a small jog, then gradually went faster as she came nearer to the running people. "This should be interesting..." she began to think of the things that she hated, things she couldn't forget, and kept running. Running fast as if all of those memories were chasing her.

This is stupid. Thought Ashly as she sat on the edge of the fountain. He's not coming. He's probably working, as usual. She sighed. We're apart for six, seven years, and he still works all the time. That idiot. She heard screams coming from the other side of the park. Next thing she processed was all the people running past. What the heck? Is there a marathon?
She smiled. "I love Marathons!" She jogged up next to somebody. "Excuse me sir! What are we running for? Cancer Research?"
The man gave her a funny look. "No. There's a monster black hole."
"Black holes are dead stars. There's no such thing." Ashly hoped that this 'Moster black hole' wasn't The excuse for Miles being late.
"Actually, there's a huge fissure, to be technical." Said somebody off to the left.
"Thank you!" Ash smiled and sped up. Glad Cross-country used to be my forte. Lord knows how far I'll get to run today.
