My favorite season of AI though would have to be the one with Carrie Underwood. Me and my whole family were rooting for her since her auditions and she has such a great singing voice!

It's worse when you realize that the guy is hitching a ride to success based on how bad he is, and actually flaunting it around. Everytime I see or read anything about him it includes his ambitions of being a "triple threat" when he barely has the talent to be a single one, if even that much, and his nonstop blabber about how he made American Idol "better".
I suppose that's how it's going to be, though. Now next year there's likely going to be a million Sanjaya wannabes that are intentionally bad just to do the same thing the original did.
