Ben had returned home after his latest concussion with sugar. He walked through the doorway, felt the room had turn cold. "Alright! Who touched the thermostat!" he shouted, then heard the giggling of a little girl. He turn toward the sound, spotting the ghostly little girl.

Ben remain silent for a moment, his face growing pale. He suddenly shouted, "Pumpkin!" calling for his wife. "Pumpkin! Do we live near an indian barial sight?!"

Abigail giggled again. She sent several gusts of wind in OW’s direction.

“Hey, could you be a little less harsh?” Yuki complained. Her face then meshed itself into a thoughtful expression. “Wait a minute. Did you just say something about a sister?”

((Ew. I’m 8 words short.))

((@Ben: We're in a tunnel underneath the couch. I'm sorry about confusing you, but this story arc should be over soon. Abigail is at the end of the tunnel.))

Holding on to a protruding rock in the wall to keep himself from getting blown over, Ryan stood there listening to OW's rant when he heard Yuki ask him about his sister. Recalling his conversation with Yuki earlier, he had a feeling that he knew where this was headed.

"Yuki, you don't think..." Ryan said, his voice trailing off. He felt uneasy about Abigail from the first moment he saw her, but he noticed the wind was starting to pick up and she was beginning to act a little strange.

“No, Ryan,” Yuki shook her head, bracing herself from the wind gusts of Abigail’s doing. “I just…” She glanced back and forth between OW and Abigail, trying to mentally convey the message to Ryan.

Abigail giggled again. “I have spent years in this place,” she spoke, “until those men built on top of it, trapping me here forever…”

“Are you the one who’s been causing all the mishaps that have been going on upstairs?” Yuki asked the ghostly girl.

Abigail giggled again. “I didn’t mean to. I’m only trying to find a way out.”

“Then why are you trying to keep us from finding you…or from us finding a way out?” Yuki asked, bracing herself as Abigail threw some more gusts of wind.

The poltergeist-like child let out a wail. “It’s the only way I’m safe!” She ceased throwing the wind gusts and flew back to her corner, where she began to whimper.

Yuki sighed. “Oh boy.” So she kept on preventing us from advancing—or returning—because she was scared? Yuki shook her head. With that power? We should be scared of her.

The young ice woman slowly approached the youthful ghost. “Abigail? Were you afraid?” she asked gingerly, developing sympathy for the little one.

((@OW: Don't worry, I'm not going to be headed towards any of that.))

With things getting stranger by the moment, Ryan felt he should let Yuki handle the situation; she seemed to have a better grasp of things than he did. He didn't want to just stand there and do nothing, however, so he took out the rock Atlus and he had found earlier and examined it.

((Sorry I’m kinda dominating the thread… I feel bad, but I want things to move along quickly.))

“Abigail,” Yuki said, crouching down next to the young ghost girl, “we’re not here to hurt you.”

“That’s what—they said!” Abigail squealed, sending Yuki back with a burst of wind.

The gust sent Yuki tumbling over backwards. She was able to stand, but she was more than a little scraped. “But we haven’t hurt you yet.”

Abigail didn’t seem convinced, but she at least let down her guard a bit. Turning her pale, tear-streaked face toward Yuki, the ghost burbled, “R-really?”

Yuki smiled warmly, and nodded. She sat next to the whimpering spirit and gently, almost motherly, stroked Abigail’s face. “Do you guard this house from people who might try to hurt you?”

Abigail nodded, and let out a quiet sob. “And the tunnels beneath it, too,” she said.

“You mean there are tunnels other than this one?” Yuki asked quietly, doing her best not to startle the child.

“Yes! This mine, and the tunnel under the stairs, and lots of others!” Abigail was finally beginning to relax. She wiped her eyes.

“I can take you back…if you want…”

“Really? You would?” Yuki asked, both pleasantly surprised and slightly anxious at Abigail’s quick change of mind.

Abigail sniffed. “Even though it means I’ll be alone again.” She looked at Yuki with sad lavender eyes.

In a matter of minutes, Yuki had grown attached to the poor little girl. It seemed that Abigail had suffered a similar effect.

Yuki tenderly pushed a lock of white hair out of Abigail’s face. “I suppose we could let you upstairs, maybe… I promise no one will hurt you,” Yuki added quickly. Abigail’s whitish face lit up in a way that it almost seemed to glow.

“What do you guys think?” Yuki asked the traveling party with hopeful eyes.

((Whew! I’m finally done!))

Todog, who was beginning to get worried on whether everything was alright, decided to look through one of the icy mansion's elegant windows. Through it he saw a ghostly, nearly transparent girl talking with Yuki, and making some sort of agreement. " When can we go inside too..." he tohught as he went back to the front of the estate.

It appears I have started a roleplay called A World of Super Humans. You should join it.

Dokenman. Rather metallic, all say. That is a misconception. His eyes may be covered by a godot-style visor, but he can see all colors as plain as day. Silver segmented gloves were worn on each hand. Suit with tie and blazer plus matching slacks were worn, all black of course. Except the tie. That was a red-cross shaped with a golden medal in the middle signifying that he was indeed a member of Project Black Mage. Tan skin was his complexion, and slick his hair was. Knocking on the door, he waited for someone to answer it or he'll use something to bust it down.

Then Ryan had an idea. He took the strange rock back out of his pocket, took a few steps toward Abigail, and presented the rock to her. "Do you by any chance know what this is, Miss Abigail?"

Atlus woke up and noticed a ghostly figure next to his father. Huh, she looks familiar... Atlus stood up, and walked up to her and asked, "Are you...Abigail?" Justice stopped barking at him and barked at something behind Atlus. Atlus turned around and noticed Justice barking behind him, he turned around and noticed a ghostly boy who was the exact opposite of Abigail. He had red eyes, spiky hair and had dark wings. "Wh-Wh-What the?!?" Atlus said frightened. "Hehe, don't be afraid..." he got closer to Atlus, "I won't hurt ya..." He said laughing insanely.

"Tut, tut. Such melodrama, I simply must faint with shock." came a voice. Stefan Soan appeared from behind a pillar. "You can leave." he said, talking to OW, he vanished in a small fire. Smoke and sonics, that's all it was.

Stefan looked a tad annoyed. "If you two ((Abigail and the new guy)) are meant to be competent, I missed it. You had one stroke of competence with the door password."

((The plausible thing to do would be for me to retract what I said, and Atlus to remove the little guy. You lot take Abigail out, Yuki unfreezes the cave. It falls apart, then all is well. And OW leaves, and Stefan comes in at a more plausible time.))

((That makes sense to me now. I'm sorry about this--I feel like I'm denying everyone their right to help create the plot--but I really want to finish this arc so things can get back to normal. Besides, like Abigail said, there are other passageways in the house, like under one of the stairwells, so there are other chances to bring in new, mysterious characters. In my opinion, though, after we finish this arc, I think we should let things calm down before going on another adventure. A lot of family members aren't posting on this thread because they have no clue what's going on.

I agree with OW's idea. Any objections?))

Fortunately, Evan was able to sense someone coming from the outside of the neverendingly-explorable house. Evan's emerald began to glow and just like Farore's Wind, the person who knocked on the door gets teleported to where the rest of the family are -- in the underground cavern.

"Nice to meet you, Keisuke Takazato." Ryu greeted KT.

"You should thank Evan for the family's gathering here, and thanks to this Mystical Amphy.... " Ryu the Kid continued, but paused due to the throbbing headache Ryu has.

"Glad to see someone doesn't know my name past the tuning." KT said mostly because practically no one did. They even knew of him for repair, too. But him as an attorney serving both defense and prosecution... he seemed to be invisible despite his record. Shrugging that aside, he looked at his greeter.

In response to Ryan’s question, Abigail squealed happily, in contrast to her previous tears. Pointing to Ryan, she said, “The pretty rock! Can I see it?”

Yuki took notice of Keisuke’s unexpected teleportation into the cavern. Completely confused, she looked rapidly between Keisuke, Evan and Ryu, and stuttered, “What the--? H-how--?”

Keisuke’s sudden appearance frightened Abigail, and she cowered behind Yuki.

((Alougth I hate the charcter, and should of used someone who I'm better at RPing with. I'm talking about OW here, not Abigail/Yuki. XD ))

OW noted the teleportation, and heard the sound of a rock falling onto ice. "The ice outside is melting." noted OW. "We have to go pretty soon, or we're sutck in here."

With The Mystical Amphy as the family's ethereal Guardian, Ryu the Kid gains stability and strength; smiled back at KT and replied, "That question, the answer is deep within you." Then Ryu's gaze turned towards the blocked way out of the tunnel.

"I have an idea." Ryu said, grinning like :larry2:

"For the love of Lord and Science, remember that rocks crack and fall into pieces if they're intensely heated up and suddenly being put in freezing, cold condition?" Ryu the Kid continued.

"First, I generate those humongous rocks' inner heat ((as to only make the huge blocks of stone-cold cave rocks hot without affecting the surroundings))," Ryu spoke as the sapphire in Ryu's hand started glowing.

"Yattaze! Tsuuzoku..... Ouuueeeenndaaaaaaaaan~~!!!" Ryu chanted while the sapphire illuminated magnificently with its mysterious power. Along with Gaia-like charms empowered by the emerald deep inside of Evan ((y'know gaia means earth, associated with nature, the forests... you get the idea)) to keep the environment around them under control as to not burst into flames.

Now they need the Ice Princess's freezing spell(s) to make the gigantic boulders that block their way turn into mere pebbles and dust which would result from the mixture of hot and cold inside of the obstacles' physical state.

"Princess Yuki, the powers from all three mystic gemstones should combine for us to get this over as safely as we can!" Ryu called out to Yuki, with everyone else within the same area trying their own ways as well -- for everyone to be able to escape from the labyrinth of the underground realm.

By now, Evan has formed an invisible and impenetrable forcefield to protect those around the Guardian from damage, shall anything come flying around them due to the anticipated blast that would happen next.....

Todog, being an obedient son, did as his father asked and kept staying outside. " It sure is hot here..." he said moments before the heat wave seemed to disintegrate his body in a whorl of nova like heat as his body turned into the faintest of ashes, or so it seemed. (( I'm not dead))
