Hehehe, look at Phoenix's sweater.

"P" instead of "Ryu."

I figured it'd be "Nick."

Well, at least this time there weren't any screw ups on which version it is, as there was with GS2....

Still, some of that artwork is rather strange, even if it does look cool in an alien-like way.

Yeah, Nick was actually what I was expecting, but if I remember correctly, only the Feys call him that.

Does this mean the Dahlia is going to call him "P"? Does Dahlia call him "Ryu" (as the same name on the shirt) in the Japanese version?

Notice Phoenix's shoes as well, they say "P" and "W"

And I think they should go with "Nixxi" for Dalhia's nickname for him.

I'm really wondering what the reasoning for Dalhia is. It can't be a reference to Silent Hill, Konami would have a hissy fit.

(Why are Payne, Dalhia, and Mia blue on that site?)

The reasoned guess so far here is she'll be called Dahlia Black, after "The Black Dahlia" (go Google it if you don't know about that!). Though of course the case is in reverse to that, not a tribute to it...

Dahlia can still be a family name, not everyone is shown with their first names.

It's "Andrews", "Edgeworth", and "Oldbag", for example.

Aside from being the nickname of the victim of a very famous murder, there's a flower with the name that's mostly pink, which Chinami wears (the color, that is).

Huh...I was thinking it was just a reference to "doll," as in she looks innocent and pretty. A flower works too, though.

Ah, I didn't know that, When it's put that way, it makes alot of sense.

I do really like that name for her. (Please please please please don't let Souryuu become Javado Beckett!)

The blue people kind of scare me. o_o;

OMG YAY IT'LL BE HERE IN SEPTEMBER! ^^ That's, like, only 5 months. :D
The P on the sweater looks kind of odd. They could have just made it a plain heart, because I really think his nickname should be 'Nixxi' and I don't think that Capcom could fit Nixxi on a sweater...

Someone suggested Maxwell Beckett, which just has a great ring to it. Maybe it's just me.

I don't know.

Its already been mentioned, but none of you noticed how apt it would be: Sweet Pea. Its a flower reference, as well as a reference to the P on his shirt.

And to answer Tinker, if the surname is shown in the name box in the japanese game, then it's also the surname in the localisation. (Mayoi -> Maya, Karuma -> Von Karma) Therefore, we know that Dahlia is her firstname (As the name box said Chinami, which is her first name.)

Its either for the murderer(The Black Dahlia-that had a movie made about that), the flower(which I believe also attracts butterflys), or both. Both are fitting really.

EDIT: Oops, beaten.

Nah, how about Swee'Pea? That's a POPEYE reference for those of you who don't understand...
