Klavier is a lot like the Godot I was expecting to see, actually, sans coffee addiction: smooth, endearing, cool and collected... and cute. Very very cute. That, combined with an Edgeworth-esque desire to seek out the truth makes him a rather appealing character to me.

Klavier is clearly too awesome to truly be described. He's also the first prosecutor to start off really wanting to find the truth rather than just finding the defendant guilty or striking back at the defense attorney due to some stupid grudge. Yes, Edgeworth and Franziska end up coming around and I love them for it, but Klavier really just starts off as a generally nice guy which was a nice change in the games. (And no I'm not comparing them. I love all three of them). Besides, Klavier is so gorgeous!

I felt so bad for him when the truth comes out about the trial seven years before and Klavier finds out his own brother set him up to ruin the lives of both Phoenix and Zak (Trucy also I suppose, but she was probably better off with Phoenix anyway. Zak struck me as an ass). He really didn't realize it was a set up (and even if he should have given it some more thought, he wanted to believe his brother was giving him that information for his sake and not to get even for being slighted). It was rather cool that Klavier got to land the final blow to his brother.

Klavier was a great character, fairly interesting and decently written, but he was a horrible nemesis. My problem with Klavier was that he was just too damn nice. Part of the fun in the AA games is clawing your way to the truth against an opponent who is trying to get you at every possible angle. Klavier's desire for nothing but the truth, while cool in and of itself, made for some pretty boring courtroom battles. Even Edgy in his later years was more hardcore than Klavier. Klavier was nice, but pretty bland, IMO.

Still it was cool to have a prosecutor that wasn't an ass, I just hope that AA5 has a real dick of a prosecutor to make up for Klavier's blandness.

I wasn't sure how I felt about Klavier before I payed the game. Now that I've played through the whole thing, it has to be said: Klavier is the fucking man. Not only is he generally a nice guy with a priority on the truth, but he just lives in an awesome way. And hell, he can air guitar so hard that you actually hear what he's playing. Who do you know who can do that? No, it doesn't count if you produce the music vocally.
