"HOLY~" Jay said with a start as he heard the chair crash into the banister. "Alright, who did it? I wanna know who threw that chair, and why!" But, looking around the coffee shop, all they saw were the faces of startled customers; not one of them in a position to have thrown something like that.
The brothers were not wearing their bracelets, so if it was anything supernatural, they couldn't tell. The bracelets were safely in the brothers' cases. They always carried them around, but only wore them when they needed to.

Don let out one of his warm laughs that were usually followed by one of his war smiles. "Here's two mugs-O-cocoa and two basic anything jobs. You see something that needs to be done and do it, that is the job." Don smiled. "There aren't any real positions yet." He pointed to the corner next to the counter "If you guys want to you can get the stage over there set up and make some music, I'm sure people will love to 'see' the special 'musical talent' you guys have." Don thought back to when he first heard them play their special music and chuckled to himself regarding the pun he just made.

Don heard the chair crash. He jumped over the counter ((because it's cool!)) and took a closer look at the chair. It looked like it came from an empty part of the building, nobody was sitting where it had come from. Don picked the chair up and said "Good thing I got the extra sturdy chairs." He set the chair back at it's table and looked at the spot where the chair hit. "Ah... looks like it'll need a touch up with some paint but other than that no harm done." Don took one more look around. The building was mostly empty. "Sorry about that folks... I don't know what happened but I'll look into it." He gave a big smile and went back behind the counter. "You guys ready for some music?" He asked the brothers.

"Sure thing, Don..." Jay said, making a mental note of the chair.
The brothers walked over to the stage and 'began setting up'... Which basically meant checking invisible amplifiers and nonexistent cords to make sure they were unnoticeably plugged in. Jay did a little sound-check with his air-guitar, which resounded throughout the room like it was real. Jeremy also checked his instrument; a bass. After about a minute, Jay stopped and nodded to his brother.
"Hello, everyone! Anyone have any requests?" Jay called out to the mostly-empty restaurant. "How 'bout you, Don? Anything ya wanna hear?"

Don stood there as the fragrance of the coffee he was brewing reached his nose. He may not have liked the taste of coffee but he sure loved the smell.

"Alright, everyone! You know what's coming... The jazz hit that's melodies and chords are as smooth as the sensation its title describes; The Fragrance of Dark Coffee!" And with that, Jay began, the mellow sounds of an acoustic guitar filling the air as he played, swaying back and forth mellowly. Jeremy added in a smooth bass part and the Fragrance of Dark Coffee was in full swing. The restaurant was filled with the sounds of the song as they continued to play.

"New Coffee Shop... I should try the coffee here." Said a voice coming from a rather tan complexed individual. Long cloak was worn over his shoulders as it held its position there. Dull brown hair and eyes were seen as the spiky pompadour-like hairstyle came into view. Although it wasn't as long as Daryan's... it was still enough for him to make "MAH HAIR" jokes. Either way, he came in looking like he belonged to a band of some sort. Pushing the doors open, he went to the counter.

Jade walked up the street, rather annoyed at how she had lost ANOTHER case... This just wasn't her week. "I suppose should take a break..." She mumbled to herself and stared in front of her, she had been staring alot lately and she reckoned she knew who she had caught it off, although no one needed to know who she had been visiting in prison. Looking to the coffee shop she smiled, noticing it was a rather nice place, and the sign in the window saying 'First cup free' was even better. She wasn't a cheap skate but she had been taught to take advantage of things in life. Stroking through her just-below-shoulder length gray hair she sighed and entered, it couldn't be all that bad.

"Hello?"

Don had been sitting at the counter, business had gotten slow since the opening day. He even decided to keep the free coffee going for a while longer. He was starting to wonder if it had been a good idea to open the coffee shop in the first place.
He was staring absentmindedly into space while taking sips from a mug of hot cocoa when he heard a voice say 'Hello?"

She smiled slightly and tugged at her cravat, she didn't even like coffee, but she really needed to keep herself awake. Lack of sleep was NEVER good for a prosecutor after all. Sighing she replied and shook her head. "Honestly? I don't know, a coffee would be nice... I suppose."

(Yeah, Jade detests coffee, but its the only thing that keeps her awake apart from sugar... And well sugar + Jade is NEVER good. xD )

Athena Cross stroled along side her companion, and co-worker Ben Credable as she looked over the case files from her previous trial. She would have to files them once they got back to the office. Ben however insists that they should make a stop at the coffee shop nearby.

"I heard the place is doing great business," Ben said, staring down at his latest issue of LAWYERMAN!, a comicbook he collected. "Run by an old friend of mine. I would mind dropping in as saying hello."

Athena did admit she could use a good cup at the moment. She'll be up all night filing reports for their new cases, anyway. "I just wish you'd look where you're going before you..."

Too late, Ben did notice the root sticking out as he fell face first into the pages of LAWYERMAN! He got up moments later, dusted himself, and whined about the crumpled edges of the comic. "I'll have to buy another copy now!" He continued to moan as they entered the shop, taking a seat by the window.

He went back to the kitchen and came back out with the latte and the special blend.
'Good thing I collected all of Godot's recipes!' he thought.
"There you go! And here is a little extra sugar and sweetener on the side just in case I didn't get enough!"

Don looked over at Jade. She didn't seem like the type of person who would drink coffee.
He walked over to where she was. "Is everything OK?" he asked. "You don't seem to interested in your coffee. We do have other drinks if you want something else. I could get you some... tea! You seem more like a tea person."
Don smiled, he had a way of knowing what people really wanted sometimes. "I won't charge you or anything, don't worry."

Yes please, I was going to ask you but I wasn't sure!~" She closed her eyes and remained smiling, her arms both resting between her legs a little below the crotch, which caused her to bend over slightly, which cause the open part of her robe be visible.

Jade was in a normal sitting position now, a few papers in front of her, her next case. Sighing she read over them she mumbled to herself. "Hopeless, this next defense attorney has no chance... Hes admitted to murdering his wife and yet they still take it... I wonder if its him... Maybe if I beat him, brother will talk to me again... Maybe he'll trust me again..." Her voice lowered itself as she reached the end of her mumbling, not noticing the man approaching her with the tea. She sighed and just stared at him silently, barely blinking.

"I still have some doubts about our next case, Attey," Ben started, finishing off his blend in one gulp. "Why'd you take this case when it's basically a losing battle? I mean, the man has admitted to the murder, and yet you'll still defend him?"

Athena placed her latte on the table, adjusting her glasses. "There's something odd about it, Ben. I can't put my finger on it, but the man's hiding something, something that has him so scared that he would confess to such a crime as murder. I'd rather have my own badge on the line rather than have an innocent man convicted of a felony."

Ben shook his head and smiled. "Just like you, Attey. Always wanted to protect everyone and anyone."

She returned the smile. "I could say the same about you. Isn't that why you became a Private Investigator?"

"Remember," he corrected. "I was a cop before I became a P.I. If it weren't for you, I could have been something else. A simple convict."

Sighing to herself she took a sip of her tea, savoring the flavor, the delicious flavor of tea... She adjusted her monocle as she felt a tingling sensation in her bladder, which meant, Toilet break.

Walking back out into the main room she accidentally tripped over, her monocle fell off, flying across the room and sadly... Into the couple's coffee. She got up off the floor and blinked. "...Oh Bloody hell, this really isn't my week! Stupid court cases, Stupid bloody Miles and stupid bloody luck." She twitched slightly as she tugged on her orange jacket to get the dirt off and walked towards the couple.

Ben jerked back as some as of yet-known object splashed into Athena's latte, drips flying off onto Ben's jacket and Athena's green dress shirt. Once over their shock, he fished out the culprit, staring at the strange monicle. "Wonder where this came from," he pondered aloud.

Athena noticed the woman coming over and believed the monicle was hers. She nodded at Ben, then to the woman. Ben turned, and spot the woman. He gave a cheery smiled. "Does this belong...." His sentence stopped when he caught sight of....them.

See where Ben was staring at, Athena imediate reached over and planted Ben's head on the table. "Er, sorry." She apologized, grabbing the monicle from Ben. "Is this yours, Miss?"

She smiled and sighed, ruffling with her cravat. "I'm awfully sorry for that... I tripped you see and my monocle has been awfully loose lately, I need to buy a new one." She looked to the man and blinked. "..." She just stared at him until he had his face planted, then she laughed, genuinely because she thought it was rather hilarious. She took the monocle Athena and nodded, wiping it with a tissue from her pocket. It was times like these she was glad she Always wore the black leather gloves she had been given by Uncle Gant, or else she would of been rather disgusted at the sticky latte on her hands right now... "Really though So-" She blinked at Athena and smirked. "I know you... Rather, I've heard of you... Miss.Athena."

At around that point, a weird, metal-looking man with blue armor and red hair walked in, saw the chaos, and walked right back out.

"Oooooookay..." he muttered to himself. "After seelng that, I think I'll head back to the Oil Slick. I was in the mood for coffee, but now I need a beer. Hope Godot doesn't mind that he'll have to wait a while while I find a Starschmuck's later."

Yawn James was tired after his case, he still won though, "Man, I need a drink...Hmm, someone told me about that new coffee joint across the street," James looked around and saw the coffee shop. "One cup free, Well I guess it'll have to do." James pulled out his pockets, "I can only get one cup though," He turned around and started to walk to his apartment but something green caught his eye, "Wow, a 20-dollar bill!" He got it and went towards the shop. He went in and there was calming music playing, he just stood near the door looking around.

Don just sat back in the chair he had behind the counter and watched as his friend Ben was getting his face smooshed into the table. He chuckled to himself. 'Glad I didn't get in the middle of that one.' He thought to himself. 'Ben's been in wors spots before. He'll be OK.'
Don shifted his gaze to the man standing outside the door.

James noticed a man was looking at him from the shop's counter, "Oh, um, your sign says first cup free right?" James was nervous, since this shop was new, it was weird for him to be entering for some reason. He started to fix his tie, he was sweating a little due to the fragrance and the steam of the cocoa and the coffee around him. He combed his hair wavy hair back and laughed a little, "Hehe," God, I'm embarrasing myself!

"Yup!" Don answered. "It's just a little promotional thing I'm doing for a while." Don pulled out a mug.
"What can I get for you? I have most any hot drink you could want. I even took the time to collect the recipes for each blend that the famous Godot drank. Just about anything you could want is here." Don handed James a menu.
"Take your time, there's allot to look at there." Don chuckled.

"Cool, thanks!" James said as he looked at the menu Wow, there's a lot of drinks on here, some in different languages
"I'll just get the Cappucino-flavored Cocoa please," James sat down at a table while he waited for his order. This place is awesome, it's cool that'll get the first cup free James looked and waited as he listened to the music that played.

Don hummed along as The Fragrance of Dark Coffee played over the sound system. For some reason that song made every drink taste better.
He got the cocoa ready and gave it to James. "There you go! Hot and ready!"
The music was still playing as Don picked up his own mug and took a sip. "How is it?" Don asked.

James sip it and gulped it down, "Phew, that took a load off," James replied to Don's question, "Wow, this is amazing, it tastes so good!" James gulped a little more, Ah, Finally somewhere I can relax and drink something so good...beats my apartment by a mile

Just then, the strange, metal dude suddenly reappeared, right in front of the counter.

"Got any coffee-flavored beer?" he started to ask, but then shook his head. "Never mind, I'll just have a double mocha cappuchino. Extra chocolate, since the first cup's free."

He sat down on the stool in front of him, and smiled. "And can we make this quick, please? I have a meeting downtown with an old friend, and I hear he's a bit famous in these parts."
