"I guess he's right" Lily sighed. "But how can we be sure there are more survirvors?" I think it'll be better if i shut up for a while...she thought, looking at how pissed off the dark aura man looked.
Thinking about Set using his "talent" to drag that other person towards them, Lily wondered if she could do the same. Putting her right hand in front of her, she focused on one of the nearest corpses. With a lot of effort, she managed to lift it from the air.

"Cool" She smiled.

Dragging the corpse closer, she noticed how badly injured it was. Its face was completely deformed, and it was missing some lungs. Horrified, she dropped it instantly, backing away a few steps. Two steps and she bumped into someone.

"Um, sorry- EEEK!!" She couldn't stop herself from screaming as she turned.

Scared, she jumped and hid behind Set. "L-l-look!!"

Nat was near the dropped corpse, whose deformities would have horrified any normal person, but Nat leaned closer to it, so much so that he could hold it if he had to. He then had th oddest urge....

"....What happened to you?" He asked the deceased man... then."*GASP* The creature, it was horrible... It ripped us.... from inside.... The.... Pain..." Then the body just dropped...

"Well... that's an... improvement?

Lily stared dumbfolded as the man speaked to the corpse. "Um...what ARE you doing? can't you see that...that thing there!! It's going to friggin' kill us!!" She pointed widly at some blind point, still hiding behind Set.

When she turned. It was gone.

"...It's oficial: My mental health is more messed up than usual" She sighed "But it was there...i'm telling you it was...it was going to kill us all...."

"I don't think you're insane just yet... As for me though, well according to the corpse, something tore it open from the inside, but he left before He could tell me more. Nat tried to explain sounding like he knew what he meant, and trying not to sound like a loon.

"Help me up please, and help me find a stick I can use as a cane, So I can get around the area a bit nimbler." He tried to sound needy, but ended up sounding more like a jerk...

Amy finally woke up and saw nothing but sand in front of her. "W-What's happened to me?" she called out to nobody in particular as she stood up, but she fell down again. "My...legs...ow...what's...going...on...?" she mumbled weakly, dragging her leg as she started crawling. But, quite suddenly she felt a burning pain in her right shoulder. What the...? she thought as she looked at her right shoulder and saw that it was on fire! She screamed and looked around, hoping there would be at least a bit of water around.

No such luck, and Amy suddenly was engulfed in flames. "Gahhhhh! What the heck is going on?!" she screamed as she ran around in circles, not caring about the burning pain in her leg now. Then, when she jumped, she was in the air! Amy gasped and spread out her arms. That caused her to move faster. "Gak...I'm a...flaming, flying human...?" she said to herself as she flew around and saw some people on the ground below. She flew downwards, but suddenly the flame went out and she started falling! "Ahhhhhhhhh!" she screamed as she swevered to avoid landing on those people on the sand. Luckily, she landed on a soft pile of sand, only a few feet away from the people.

Oddly enough, she saw one of them having a dark aura surronding him. That's weird... Amy thought as she ran over to them, and looking at the strange boy. "Um...hello?" she called over to them.

Lily nodded at Nat, trying to believe this wasn't all a dream. "Did he tell you how it looked like?" She said in a low voice, walking past him as she searched around for a stick.

Instead, she found...a girl?

"Are you ok?" She said, offering her hand to the girl laying on the sand. "Do you need some help? and, do you perhaps have something that we can use as a cane?"

Set finally gave in. Too many people.

He moved away, the aura with him. Hawke and Raven came as well. He needed to focus his power. If he couldn't use it as effectively, he had several ideas.

Hawke FINALLY awoke. The first thing he did was jump up, but found himself blind. Then he was in the air, high above Set and Raven, who had assumed a wolf-like form. He looked at himself. A bird of prey - a hawk. He swooped down, arriving at Set's aura, and became human again. He found himself focusing more. He could concentrate on every grain of sand. HE knew what had happened - so these were his abilities.

Set thought for a moment, then his mist expanded. Ah. What if he could get everyone here in his mist...? Then move them?

"No, unfortunately the poor fellows soul escaped before I could talk to him anymore... The White haired lady returned with the flaming blur he had seen earlier.

Nat looked at the newcomer with a mixture of awe and curiosity"Greetings, that wa quite a show you put on there, are you alright, not hurt or anything?" Nat figured it best to keep everyone calm for the time being, no-one rampaging would be a good thing.

"Umm, I'm Nat, and these are... uh.... Actually I don't know who these are, but they're good people who you can trust." True enough, he hadn't learnt the names of these other people.

"A...show?" Lily asked, finally knowing what that man's name was "Oh..right...too busy hiding behind the moody leader over there" She thought. "Nat? was it? Is there i can do to help you to walk better...i'm...i'm sorry but i can't seem to find anything that you can use as a cane..."

She looked over her shoulder. What were those guys doing?...The dark aura man was acting really suspicius...BUT he saved her so she couldn't complain..

"Oh! i'm sorry, got spaced out. Are you hurt?" She asked again at the newcomer.

Merodi, who had been unconcious the longest, opended her eyes guickly. Her vision, hovever, was not so quick. She sat up and rested on her knees. She was badly scratched and could hear other people around her.

After a few more seconds, she realised her vison had still not fully returned. Everything seemed louder than it usually was. She took a step forward and tripped over a body. A body that was nearly 10 meters away from her original locaton.

"I'm blind...and apparently I'm moving a little faster now. Everything that makes a single rustle seems loud now. Are these...powers?"

Set lifted the gel-wolf, and the hawk into the air. Well, the hawk didn't need it, but it was the best option. He floated over to the group, carrying his employee's along with him. "I may be able to get yuo abck to the city... if you'd want me to."

Raven quivered. The strange group of people was infuriating her.

Hawke looked towards the city.

"Will this do, Nat?" She said happily...until she heard Set's words.

"What city?" Lily turned abruptly at the dark aura man, her voice being a mix of saddness and madness, the memories returning to her a bit too quickly "The explosion destroyed it all...remember?"

An unfamiliar voice stuck into her head again. This was becoming so annoying.

"So it seems. Powers. That might be." She said, not turning to the blind newcomer. "I'm sorry...i can't help you much if you can't see anything." She looked over her shoulder and smiled "Is there anything i can do for you?" The fake smile was obvious..but she didn't want to think about all the explosion took from her.

She didn't want to think everything was lost

"That'll be perfect, but if you could just support me for a bit. See, I broke my leg awhile ago, aparently quite badly, hence my being in a hospital... It's not too bad, It just hurts like the fires of hell itself." Nat wondered about those strange other people... The dark aura and the surrounding people seemed strange, but there was nothing he sould do about that.

"There's no need to be upset, we're still around and That's something to be thankful for... So, uh, what are your names, I don't think we've really been introduced."

Set thought for a moment. Name. He decided to gloss over the question, turning his attention to Lily. "We may as well see the ruins... Or go to somewhere where we won't be frozen tonight." He wanted to move. Before he proeprly exhausted his dark aura.

Hawke, noting his leader's relecutance to answer the question, didn't answer either. Neither did Raven.

"I...I.." Lily sobbed, crossing her arms like a little kid "I won't stand it...i don't want to see it..." Tears streamed down her face. "I don't want to see it..."

She let her arms fall to her sides, pasting a smile on her tearful face.

"But if that's all we can do, i won't object" She tilted her head to the right. "you're the leader" A few more tears fell from her absolutely white eyes. "You won't have to worry about me...i'll be a good girl" She let her head fall "I won't bother you guys anymore..."

She side looked at Nat.

"I'm Amy Wilkinson." said Amy. She looked down at the sand and drew a beautiful beach and blue skies and cool waves. "I was supposed to go to Hawaii, but after all this happened, and it all started with that mysterious death of that woman." she said, thinking back to that newspaper article. Come to think of it, it was the newspaper that had been on her driveway, just before she ran away from her home, because of that mushroom-shaped cloud. "I also don't know why, but I get engulfed in flames." she said, eyeing the boy with the mysterious aura. Could he have a mysterious power too? Something feels odd about him...I just can't quite place my finger on it.

Amy suddenly heard a crackling of flames. "Oh no..." she moaned as she turned and saw her shoulder on fire again. She jumped and then her whole body became covered with flames. She flew in figure eights in the air, and actually began to kind of like her mysterious power. She turned and waved at the people down below. Suddenly, Amy saw something that made her gasp in shock. She saw a bird, with flames sprouting from it's wings. It came at her and attacked her, pecking away at her arms and legs. She screamed and flew downwards, only to find that the flames had gone out. The bird was still hot on her tail, she felt it. Amy swevered and tried to get the bird to go off course, but it didn't. She then buried her face in her hands and prayed she would be okay after her fall.

Set saw the bird. The dark mist around him shot up - as did he. The two were conencted, and the mist grabbed the fire-bird like a bodybag. But some of the mist was coming away - he knew that the heat would wear it away. Dammit.

Hawke became human again, nodding at the people assembled. "We should move. Before the sun goes down. There's a city north of here. It hasn't been effected by the explosion, for the most part. Shall we go?"

Lily focused on Amy, using her powers to take a hold of the body. It was exhausting. But with a lot of effor, she managed to make the girl land softly...mostly...next to the group.

"Sorry..." She breathed out, before turning to bird...human...whatever it was...that was speaking to them. "If you say so...we should hurry" She shrugged...but couldn't help but noticing the bird's eyes on them all..."I told you guys, i saw something..." She whispered...

"And it was going to kill us all..."

Merodi was leistening to this conversation between everyone and decided it was best to follow along with them. Anthing was better than being left alone. Besides, moving around with them would probably be a good way to help her control her newly found power---and disability.

She tried to turn around and walk in the direction of the voices, but only succeded in almost running into a person standing there.

She giggled, and blushed, and looking in the direction of the person she almost ran into asked, "Is it okay, if I could join this little group of yours?"

He didn't like being unable to trust people, but he just seemed too unfriendly after all that had happened.

Set finally let go of the fire-bird. It was hurting Set's hand now, and the mist, along with Set, floated down to the group. The mist had mostly returned to Set, enveloping him in the darkness. He could not be seen now.

Raven growled, as a wolf, then went underneath Set, glad of the shade.

Set turned to the girl. While he wasn't very substantial, he could be bumped into. "Um... why not?" he placed the girl into the group's circle.

"And what if I am plotting something?" Set's stray whisps had heard Nat.

Looking up at the sky, she noticed the beautiful sunset.

"I do not need thanks." he said to Lily, this time floating away slightly. The wolf and (now-transformed) hawk came after him. "If you do not trust me... I do not care." The darkness ensnared the gel-wolf, and the hawk, then moved away, Set disappearing within it.

However, an echo lingered. One strand of mist made it so. "My name is different to all those who know me."

Looking around, she noticed the confused stares of her...companions. She guessed she could speak for all of them when she asked a question to the wind.

((Sorry for not posting))

::It was dark, really dark.:: What the heck just happened?! ::Justin couldn't move very well, he could hear something around too but he didn't know what.:: "Eh. . .I'm I still in the hospital??"

::He then noticed something, his body didn't feel weak or frail. . .but strong again. The feeling of body being normal, he remembered the feeling well before the accident. He tried moving again and then it hit him, he was underground and surrounded by dirt no less! He tried to yell for help but dirt kept falling into this mouth, he was going to die if he didn't get out soon! He started to move his hand and noticed the dirt around his hand moved with him.::

What the heck!?

::He then kicked at what he thought was up and the dirt moved again. Having enough room now, he spun around pushing the dirt around him and landed on the solid ground he just made.:: Putti! ::Clearing his mouth of dirt, he looked up at the darkness around him. Justin examined his body his body he felt like he had been working out for quite a long time, he was breathing differently and had a lot more flexibility. This was getting a little beyond weird now, he must be dead he was thinking but he had all of his senses so that can't be.::

"Can't figure anything out in this hole. . ."

::Bending his arms, he thrust his arms straight up and launched a massive amount of earth into the air creating a hole pouring sunlight into his hole.::

Sand and earth shot throught he air, creating an explosion of dust that reached the eyes of all in the area, "Somethings over there, It might be dangerous!" Nat had to call out over the distressed travellers around him.

His eyes were blistered by the sand, but he could still see, so he edged forward, until he reached the source of the explosion. The was a hole, deep, but not large, and at the bottom was another person, another survivor.
"Are you alright, wait, I'll get help." He then went to get the others.

Lily noticed Nat as he came where everyone was.

"Something's the matt-" She pursed her lips as she watched someone get out of the sand.

Scared, she focused on more of the corpses around them, making them levitate, and threw them at the "thing" coming out of the sand. She was happy until she noticed how everyone was staring at her with a "what the fuck are you doing?!!"

"...what?"

It seemed like everone was losing their wits and senses rather quickely.

"Could you help me check if they're alright?" Figures that the more the easier.

Walking past Nat, she stopped a second to think about his last statment.

"You can hear their screams...?" She sighed "That's so sad...I mean, for them...but it's not like i have something else to defend myself...unless...well, i could throw them" She looked over her shoulder at her companions "but i'm not sure they'll appreciate it"

Finally reaching the hole, she peeked in carefully. You could never be too careful in that place...that dark aura man was the clear evidence.

"Erm...sorry about the flying corpses...are you all right?" She instantly recognized the boy, but if she screamed again, everyone would comfirm how quickly she was losing her edge.

"It's all these damn powers...they exhaust me...when they drain all my energy, they continue to drain something else...that's why i look like a blind grandma..."

Set paused halfway to the city. The gel had resumed it's form as a ball, and was inside the mist, hiding from the sun. The hawk was circling in circles above him. Set saw someone on the ground near him. Not one of the survivors, this far from the city?

The person was dead. Baked alive. Set wondered how he was out here. It didn't matter too much. However, when he saw a cloud appear in the sky, literally materliaised out of the air, then expand, causing buckets of rain to land on the desrt, he moved. He snatched Hawke from the air, and flew back to the group. The rain was faster. The rain hit the group hard.

Set was almost invisible, save his remaining torso, his head, and his hair. "Well, what now?"

"Everyone's getting weak, and tired, we have to find some place to rest soon... Before we have casualties or fights. Nat mulled over in his head his condition and how everyone else seemed to be coping. He was trying to stay calm for the benefit of everyone else, but to be honest all this was freaking him out.

"... right, guy in a hole" Nat came to his senses, and helped the new fellow out of the hole which was tricky, even with everyones help.
" Are you okay? ...Uh, I'm Nat, and this is Lily, Amy, I think that person is blind, and all the others whose Names I've yet to be bothered to memorise...... Y'know, you look familiar..." Nat added the last bit before he could stop himself, He didn't want to overload the new guy too soon. ".... the guy was buried alive after all......."

Lily gasped, but stopped herself from screaming "i knew it!". Staring at the sky, the rain hit hard in her face, making the injury on her forehead hurt again. Standing up, she looked in the way where the hawk guy said the city was.

"You rescued us and left us to die. You're right. You need no thanks. Because you didn't do anything at all." She thought with hate, forcing her thoughts to go to the dark aura man's mind, and not everyone's thoughts on her's. Even if she knew her powers wouldn't reach that much. They served for hearing, not for speaking. Sad thing, that.

Turning to the newcomer, she stared at him with wide eyes -even if she looked plain creepy-.

"Um...wouldn't you happen...to see a crazy girl waving at you...you know, before you ended up..there?" She pointed at the hole with her head.

The rain had increased to painful levels, it felt like it burned Nat's flesh, He ignored the pain, and gave his opinion on what to do now.
"We have to get out of the area, that explosion that engulfed the area might have had an adverse effect on the water, so this might be acid rain" He yelled over the current downpore. He wasn't sure of his theory, but the burning sensation he was feeling was a certain indicator.

He turned to the Mist man,"Did you find any shelter on you little scout?" He asked genuinely, hoping for the best." If so we should head tha way. Lead on.".

"Yes, we better hurry." said Amy as she panted and patted her shoulders, hoping no more flames would burst up. She turned and looked at the aura boy, who's name she believed was Set. Wait...how do I know who he is? She wondered as she walked straight ahead of herself, until she suddenly tripped over something. Amy turned around and noticed it was a dead body. Ew! She thought as she stumbled and regained her balance. "Er, you guys? Why are you going back to the, er, "city"?" she asked as she stared at the aura surronded boy, and she got the feeling that he had some kind of secret to him.

After he heard the corpse say "Ow!", and supressing a laugh, Nat responded to flAmy"I don't know if Mist-boy has ulterior motives or not, We need shelter. This rain is burning an if theres a city nearby, then brilliant I say we head there now." He sounded forceful, but he really needed to get out of the rain, it was reaally burning his flesh, and caused him agonising pain.

Amy nodded in agreement. "I agree. Let's hope this guy over here will actually lead us SOMEWHERE." she shouted, hinting and hoping the boy would notice. Then, she saw a little brown in the distance. "What the hey?" she said out loud as she stepped a little closer to it. "Is that a little shack, you guys?" she asked to everyone else.

Set nodded at the shack. "Will we all fit in there?" The rain punched through his mist, draggint it down, but then it rose back to him. It now seemed as if a dark pillar-shaped cloud had enveloped itself around a man, who's head poked out from the pillar.

The gel wolf bounded across the desert. In the water, it had no problem. It poked it's head in the shack. Yuki's wolf eyes saw that it was of a modest size, and could probably hold them all in there. It nodded, and darted back, informing the group of the shack size.

Hawke walked towards the shack as soon as Yuki stopped talking. The wolf bounded on ahead. Set dissappeared from within the mist, and the mist vanished. However, a dark miasma appeared closer to the shack.
