It was in the middle of an unknown desert,A huge base,futuristic and high-tech,stood like a guard.Inside,was the orginization Card.A project was underway.The scientists were in a large,dome-shaped room with floating blue orb in the middle.One of the scientists pressed a button,and the orb started to glow.
Present time:
All over the world,portals that were pure black started to open up.And people were being sucked through.

))Garnz was in his house,watching tv.He was channel surfing,and he came upon the news channel.A picture of multiple holes in the sky flickered across the screen."As you can see,strange holes have just not appeared in our city,but all over the world!"The news reporter said."What the--"He was cut short when the roof of his house was taken off.A hole hovered above his house,sucking it in.
A powerful force began to pull at him.Garnz groped around for something to grab onto,but he found nothing.He was pulled through the air and into the portal,screaming.Once he was sucked in,the hole dissapeared.

Abilities: High jump, strrength, increased speed, expert with all weapons.
Other: He's a literal living skelton, infused with magic and technology.
One week before (Before people come through the time tunnels)
Set Sero II jumped into his ship, taking off. There were some scavengers who were attacking the town hall. Time to put a stop to them. He didn't know that this would be his last living flight.
Two blue lasers smashed two of nine scavengers. The remaining seven took off, buzzing towards the desert. Set grinned, swinging the ship's back around like a pendulum, chasing them. Two more lasers hit one of the scavenger ships. Set flipped his engine's onto full. Time to pursuit and finish. One of the scavegners turned, and stood in his way, firing. They might of hoped he'd stop. No such luck. Set's ship smashed straight through it. The last five reached the desrt, and started heading up to space. The moon was a valuable scavenger base, apparentely. Two more went down in flames. The last three were larger, battleships. All turned. They fired on Set's ship, damaging the shields. One went down.
Set noticed a strange black portal appareaning on his waist. It grabbed his hand. Then his other. Then the ship. Then the battlehsips. And the falling one. And the oned he'd destroyed. Set felt like he was aging rapidly. He was. Suddenly, the portal dissappeared, and he and the the broken parts of the ships fell. Everything shattered on impact, breaking.

He was alive. The power of Set Sero I must of saved him. And his skeleton. And his brain. However, all his skin, muscle, organs... EVERYTHING was gone. However, he soon cobbled together an assortment of machine parts to make a helmet. Then a motorized arm, then another. Slowly, he became metallic. A skeleton/machine. He'd constructed the metal to work with the bone. His skull was impossible to break, and he had blindly made crude sensors as eyes. He soon made better ones, with X-ray, heat-seeking, and a digital hi-res visor.
The black portals opened. Set stood up, raising his new arm - with a sword/gun fastened to the end. "I'm coming." His feet extended some recycled ship boosters. Time to fly.

The police ships still fired into the portal. Attacking the past. It hit people. Killed people. Some ships suddenly dropped, hit by a paradox - the driver was never born. The portal's stopped the 'granny paradox' - them people died in the past. More deaths in the past. Soon, all the police airships fell out of the sky.

The spheres caught one person. A college student, coming home from the libary. They cirlced above him, then descended. He gasped, as bolts of lighting from the heartless machines burnt him to a crisp. Dead.
Set moved then. He snapped his cuffs like paper-links, and ripped a hole in the machine. He jumped out, and fell into a roof, breaking it. There was one person in the room. A past-dweller. He would be shocked at the sight of the walking skeleton, with all of the mechanical implements around him. The skeleton grunted, lifting the bed up, and fixed the hole with it. He removed an anti-gravity clamp (spare one), and fixed the bed to the roof. If it was left upon, the spheres would come in, and kill them both.

The spheres saw Mira. The sphere that caught him was taken offline, it's work for today done. Three new spheres picked up the scent, and dived at the man. Electric crackled throughout their spherical bodies, and they soonw ere over Mira's head, crackling electricity. A warning. If he was outside for another thirty second, he would be made into a human barbecue. And even technology could not save you from that.

The skeleton scowled (as much as he could with only bone and metal), and threw the door into the corridor. "Third on the left, down the stairs, eighth on the right, up the stairs, third on the left, third on the right, fourth on the right again, second on the left. Then keep going down the stairs. Then through the big metallic doors." The skeleton didn't mention the patrolling spheres. There was no need. Hopefully, the boy would die.
The spheres sent a warnign blow at Mira. It threw him a metre, burning him slightly. A fourth sphere appeared at Garnz' feet. It primed it's beam.
Set locked himself in a spare room. He was safe.

1) Steal an airship.
This one had the most promise. He still had his license, and he could lie, claiming he was a cyborg. He would be able to evade the spheres then. The problem was - he would have to wait until morning. Which would come in... ooh, about 48 hours by Earthis standrards.
2) Steal a mecha.
Getting on one would be hard enough.
3) Stay here.
... Hm. What now...

Appearance: Long, silver hair that comes to his knees. 8 foot tall (suffers from gigantism), with red eyes (contact lenses).
Personality: Dark, serious, and cruel. One of the masterminds who founded CARD.
Weapon(s): The police force, and his huge array of equipment.
Other: Set fell into the same time vortex that turned Set Sero I into a skeleton. The paradox caused aged his decent, but made Set immortal to age. He was thrown into thr past of Earthia, and he soon became the cheif of police. And he became intreseted in fledgling company CARD. He expanded it, until it became what it is today. He is still Cheif Of Police, and is also intrested in CARD''s business. If he was removed from CARD, they would be attacked by the police.

Appearance: Tall man with a black leather jacket and long, black, spiky hair, like a real porcupine, his hair is like Goku from Dragon Ball Z's, but shorter and black/grey.
Personality: Nothing really. Just serves the leader of Card as his assisstant. He treats the people that he wants as he HAS to treat them, this means he hates an enemy and he is in good term with a friend or ally. Really a good person in the inside, but his family was threatened by Card, so he had to work for them to keep his family safe, if not he wouldn't do that at any costs. And the Leader knew that very well.
Weapon(s): He doesn't use. He just uses his powers, but he has Teleporting Granades.
Abilities: Capacity to turn Invisible (but the Leader can detect him when he is Invisible, so he can't do nothing, if you wonder.), create force-shields wherever he wants, but his powers are limited, he needs to charge them sometime, he just has to wait for his power to return. AND he has Electrokynesis (if that word exists), which means he can control Electricity and Electric objects.
Other: As mentioned, he is the personal assisstant of Card, forced to do so by his family being threatened. He never thought of even say 'No' to the Leader fearing he would do something to them (his family).
