Norman patroled the streets of the town, watching for anything suspcious. "Gordon, you seein' anything?" He asked his little brother through a headset he was wearing. A small scanner patroled the other side of town, it was the eyes of his little brother, Gordon Frohman. "Nope, not a thing... wait, theres a guy on the corner of 3rd Street. He looks 'outdated' his clothes are look like something from the stone-age."((By stone age he means the present.)) "Hmm... Alright I'll go check it out." He replied, as he walked towards thrid street.

Appearance: tall, green skinned part lizard. (like an Aragonian, from Elder Scrolls) Has a metal plate stuck on his chest, due to freak accident. He has a wide vocabulary and always has something to say about a situation.
Personality: Cheery, smiley person. Sometimes has quite an attitude though. He likes to stick up for people except he has no guts. He's very squeamish and dislikes the idea of violence.
Weapon(s): A small knife for self-defence and a pretty snazzy pistol. He got these to protect himself, as he never attacks first.
Other: Pretty clumbsy, found a portal by mistake. He doesn't think Card sound very nice and also thinks they should have come up with a better name. He avoids questions about his family.

The sound of pounding boots merged from the police station. These days, it was now a gigantic caslte, and impenitable. It was over 3000 feet high, and was in charge of the city's power. If the police rebelled, the city wouldn't be able to resist. Even weapons like sword were hold together by power from the building.

The pounding boots were the mornign patrols. Over 200 men, being controlled via headsets were there. Any troublemakers would be purseud and killed efficently. They had laser rifles which could destory a building in thirty milliseconds, and were coded to the user's fingerprints. The officers themselved were wearing asuit which would electrocute anyone not wearing the same suit who touched it. They contained various grenades in case of a needed suicide attack, or to kill extremely large groups. They walked down 3rd street, seeign the three men on the corner. Nine officers detached from the pack. They could catch up. The helemts worn by the men made them seem like the same person. All nine stood in a circle position around Norman, Gordan, and Mira. "Identification." They growled, setting off LED's around their helmets.

Garnz walked into a room with multiple screens on the left wall,and a large tube in the wall to the right.One one screen,were three men surrounded by Men in some futuristic police unform.On another screen,he saw a clumsy police-officer and a woman.I wish I could be there..."He said as he looked at the screen with the multiple police.He leaned on a button,and the the tube to the right suddendly whirred to life and shot a beam at Garnz.Before he could react,He was teleported just a few yards away from the police and three men.

One police officer stepped forward. "You will be taken to Cell 2500-A for being over the age of 18 and not having identification. [/b]Any attempt to resist and you will be charged with assault[/b]." Two more officers grabbed Mira's arms (via their electric-resisiting gloves, so he didn't die. Two laser rifles were focued on his chest and spine, specifically. They would vaporise him in seconds.

The black portal was still gaping open. Set II had boosted up to it, and touched it. He was sucked into the past, but remained a skeleton. He emerged in front of a man and a woman, from the year... 2018. He'd gone back to Earth. He looked up, his non-existant nose not doing anything. Another portal in the sky. However, he could see that the lasers that had been fired the previous Earthian night were becoming regenerated by Time. He had to get back in there before he was killed by them. The skeleton/machine stood up, and looked at the girl and the man. "Who are you?" he asked. Sadly, he was peaking in the Earthian tounge. People in the future would have their brains updated - as would Past Dwellers. But he was in the past, and these two didn't have updated brains. To them, it would sound like a radio with no station - fuzz.

Two more men were transported with Garnz. Two more officers. They primed their laser-rifles. "Identification."

"I don't have any identification...."Garnz said,backing away.His arms becoming silver again."But......"Then he stretched his arm and gave one of the officers a quick blow to the jaw.Before the other one could react,Garnz grabbed his head and sent him flying into the police surrounding the three men.

The thrown man stopped, as if frozen in time. He righted himself, then aimed his rifle at Ganrz. He fired.

"You may ask a question. While you are being taken to your prison.." The officers dragged him away. They had much more physical strenght then they looked like they had. And the smooth metal floor of the metropolis would burn Mira's skin. Yelp.

All 191 of the remaining police patrol had arrived at the scene. They all raised their rifles. "Surrender Past Dweller" they ordered.

Garnz slowly raised his hands as multiple officers walked up to him and grabbed him.They dragged him to a hovering car,sleek and pure black.They threw Garnz in the back,locked the door with a fingerprint sensitive lock,and drove away to the police station.

The officers drove Garnz to the prison. He was thrown into Cell 2500-A for assaulting an officer and not possesing ID. He would be jailed for thirty years. No bail.

"Incorrect. You are over 18, and do not have identification. You will spend up to ten years in jail for this offense." They soon arrived at the prison, and threw Mira into Cell 2500-A. The door was tightly sealed - no bars, just another wall. the walls were titanium - no escape. There were several tiny slits for windows, like a castle. The door was locked with over 500 different locks, and was built with a steel alloy combined with titanium. The room was unbreakable.

Sure, Set II understood them. But it was one-way, sadly. There was no way to down-grade his language, thanks to his mechanical vocal chords. However... he assumed that the symbols of the English alphabet were unchanged.

He sent a message. This was something from a hologram-maker in his shop, but he'd converted it to make letters instead. He sent his message. "Hello, Past Dwellers. I am from the year 4229. The black portal in the sky will soon be raining destruction again. To escape, you will have to come to future. Grab my wrists do to so."

The skeleton paused for a while, stroking it's chin. The text projected dissappeared, only to become replaced with new text. "Yes." He was getting lazy, it seemed. He held out his wrists, priming two thrusts in his feet. Judging by Earthian Time, he had eighteen rels to get into the portal. Not sure how many Earth seconds that was, though. A stray laser was pushed out of the Time Vortex, and hit the ground not far from them. OK, fourteen rels.

((If anyone knows what a Rel is referring to, I give love to you.))

The door that Garnz had been examining opened suddenly. Garnz was thrown across the room. A nurse stood in the doorframe. Robotic, of course. She soot daside, and two dishwasher-sized machines trundeld into the room. They pulled Mira and Garnz in, ripping their clothes, taking away their possessions (including Garnz's gloves and remote), and put them in prison slops that were far too tight. They were spit out, forcefully. The door closed, with the nurse and the dishwashers outside with her. All five hundred and twenty-two locks re-locked.

Set II took off, sending a small cloud of smoke beanth him. He shot through the vortex, appearing back in his locked room, in the building from the night before. He sighed with relief (he'd made it back), and wormed his wrists away from the pair. He checked his body, making sure he was still bone and machine. He was. Going through the Time tunnel could scramble people's bodies (in other words, make one persons toe be swapped for another person's finger, or something), or change the consciense of the body into someone else's entirely. That would be VERY bad.

Garnz gritted his teeth in anger.He went back to the dent in the corner and began to pull,strain,punch,kick,etc at it.It seemed hopeless,but he was determined to break out.An hour later,the door opened,and a robot with two trays walked in."Prisoners 18790567 and 18790568,Here is your meal."It placed the trays down,and left.On each tray was a fork,a spoon,a napkin,and a putrid green blob.

"I think I'm the first one."Garnz said as he tried to eat the blob.But he found it inedible.He took the fork and spoon,and he began to attack the dent in the corner again.He gave it rest and laid on his back.When he looked up,he was given new hope.In the roof of their cell,was an air-vent!The only problem,it was a good 8 or 9 feet up.

DX )) and ate his food with no visible problems. This stuff tastes weird, but if it's served, then it's probably not gonna kill me. "Five plus five is equal to ten. I can estimate we are both greater than five feet. How tall are you?"

Norman was confused as the officers had ignored him, being to preoccupied with the other two people. "What the hell was there problem..." He said to no one in paticular. A black protal opened up in the sky above him. He was getting sucked in. "Son of a bitch!" He yelled. "Norman! Norman! Respond... Norman!" Grodon yelled into the mic. The transmission was fuzzy but it got through. "Protal... past... sucking me i-" The message was cut off. "DAMN IT!" He slammed his fist onto his desk. Gordon was spit out onto the roof of a building. "What the hell... This place looks awful..." The city was in ruins, the building slowly crumbling. Including his own. "Uh oh... Woah!" the roof crumbled and Norman was covered with debris. "Argh! I need to send out one final message........ Gordon... Por-al, Do-'t ge- su--ed i-...." The message was recived by Gordon but he didn't understand.

((Ohh is he dead, or isn't he :O Only one way to find out!))

Michael was watching from the security room. The Leader was 'attending more important stuff' than the security of Cards. He had a really well hidden camera in each corner of each floor of each building in the zone. He noticed that a cell in prison was being really 'noisy', so he sent some androids. He didn't notice the the people in the cell were the warriors he had asked for.

Inmediately after, in Garnz and Mira's prison cell...

The broke of the room was opened by an android. He was seconded by two more androids, the three of them armed. Michael, in the security room, had a headset to talk to the androids. He was watching the scene.

"What are you intending of doing, prisoners?", the head android said, a rifle aimed-rifle on his robotic hands. "MM, we await instructions." Michael had given his initials to the androids, just in case somebody heard his name. He was in the security room, still watching them. "Hmm... they are trying to brake out, huh?", he said, totally bored. "Kill them."
The androids prepared their guns to shoot, when Michael realized something, which he yelled at the robots just before they shoot, stopping them. "Wait, no! Don't shoot. Bring them here. I need to talk to them. Oh, and ask them if they came alone, after the conversation erase this from your database."
The head android obeyed. "MM wants to see you. you will follow us." He got Garnz with him, but didn't see anybody else.
"Tell them,", Michael told the android. "That I was the one that summoned them here. Then bring them."

Mira checked to see if the coast was clear. If it was, he would go to the room that Garnz referenced earlier. If it wasn't, he would pop his head out of the vent to see what was going on.

They were warped to a heloicopted, with no pilot, with no way of controlling it, but it was floating over 5,000 feet over the sea. If they fell from this height, they would be smashed to pieces by the sea.

Set Sero II realised that the two might have been thrown slighlty more into the fututre then he had. As if on cue, they materialsed inside the room.
