Sitting in a secluded section of the courtroom, Humphrey waited for court to start, but was nervous, partly for all the rumors he had heard from the nearby people, but mostly because he had to stop searching for the weapon he had dropped somewhere in the courthouse. He replayed everywhere he had been, and could only think of one place....

"Maybe.... Mybethat detective fellow found and took it.... If he has it.......... No, no worries.... he wouldn't know what it is......" He sighd in relief, "No-one would know what it is...... I'll be fine."

And he waited. The judge was yet to arrive in an odd display of lateness, and no-one knew where he was....

'I know I know that voice! It sounds so familiar... We'd better get up to the gallery area,' Jay thought, looking towards Jeremy.
'I agree. Let's go,' Jeremy replied and they began walking towards the gallery doors. When they opened them, they saw a crowd of people who had gathered to watch the trial. *Ba-dump!* Jay's bracelet let out some kind of strange pulse. 'What was that?' It was glowing brightly and pulsating, giving off an ethereal vibe, but nobody seemed to notice except him and Jeremy, who was looking confusedly at his own bracelet. *Woosh!* Just then, an image of Violetta and Jay sitting in the gallery of a courtroom together, talking about things flashed in Jay's mind. He could see it vividly. When it faded away, something was different... Jay... 'noticed' something. He could swear the atmosphere of the room was changing, but he couldn't place it. 'Did I see what I think I just saw?' Jay thought as he continued to push through the crowd, looking around to see if his mind was playing tricks on him, or if he actually caught a fleeting glimpse of something.
Jeremy was following behind. He could swear he felt something in the room... 'It's quite odd that the prosecution and judge have yet to show up, but I know someone important is here... I can FEEL it!'
'You feel that too? What could it mean?' Jay asked in his thoughts, holding the green-ribboned sketchbook tightly against his chest.
When something paranormal or supernatural was nearby--usually in the same room--to the brothers, they were almost compelled to seek it out and find out what it was.

'Friday, what's this feeling?' Violetta asked, suddenly feeling chills. It was strange because usually she was the one giving off the chills, not the other way around. 'Something is close. Something important,' she continued, 'Friday, what's happening?'
Friday shook her head again, 'This is new to you, darling, you need to get used to it. Things from the past seem to trigure something with ghosts... But if you see someone you know, stay in the shadows and try to be concealed. Alright?' Friday was serious about this. People seeing ghosts wasn't a very good thing for their minds, or good for th ghosts themselves. Violetta nodded, her curled hair bounced a bit as she did. She still felt some sort of presence other then their own. It was familiar. It was nice. Violetta shifted a bit, and moved to the side to get a better look at the court. 'This is taking way too long...' she said quietly, hoping Friday didn't hear and try to explain again, but of course, she did. 'I don't get it either, it should have started by now. Your father's right over there, the defense... people seem to be settled in already... well aside from a few people, anyways...'
Violetta looked to where Friday had igknowledged her father was.
'I want the trial to start soon. I don't want to be here in the first place, and I don't want to have to stay longer...'
Friday ignored Violetta, and moved further into the shadows.

The judge rushed in and sat down, panting. He weakly picked up his gavel and tapped it against his bench. He gasped 'Court is... *huff* Now... In session for... The... Trial of... Mr. *gasp* Blu.' He croaked 'Is the-- Oh, the prosection isn't here yet.... Well... Is the defense ready?'

Phoenix Sr. Looked at the judge and said 'Yes. I'm Phoenix Wright. Always ready.'

Thomas nodded to Mr.Wright, in a weary and sympathetic way. He looked more tired and saddened then ever. The jury seemed to pity him, but still, some thought he truly was guilty. But those people were slowly growing softer, taking a look at his face. Thomas looked around the court room, still in the defendant's position, and nodded to the people he knew.

"I can't help but feel someone is... here. Someone that I know very, very well," Jay mumbled to himself. He was following his bracelet, which would glow brighter when he got closer and would get dimmer as he moved away.
"Court's starting soon. The judge just came running in," Jeremy commented noticing the judge in a hurry to get to his stand.
"He looks tired, like he rushed to get here for some reason... I wonder where he's been and if everything's alright..." Jay said concernedly, kind of half-meaning it, but still half-focused on finding the 'presence'. The bracelet seemed to shine an awkward light. Very bright, but seemingly 'not of this world'... Only Jay and Jeremy could see it, they were certain. Jay just couldn't shake the vibe. He still held Letta's sketchbook, green ribbon facing outward, tightly against his chest, like he was protecting it and yet showing it at the same time.
'I can't help but think back, Jay...' Jeremy thought, 'To the house party... when we asked Ariana to channel Letta... She seemed... different.'
'Oh! Th-that's right! I cried that night, secretly... I know I shouldn't have, but... something just didn't seem right...' Jay couldn't help but tear up at this moment as well, but he held it back the best that he could. 'I wonder if it's Letta that I'm feeling right now...' Just then, the bracelet brightened a bit and then dimmed again, as if to acknowledge Jay's last thought.

'Friday,' Violetta asked, moving back into the shadows to talk to her, 'What's that over there?' Violetta was pointing to a dim light. To her the court room was a black and white. It would be like that until the court was done, but a small light seemed to glow, and it wasn't black and it wasn't white. Friday looked out and replied, 'I don't see anything, just a mix of colored clothes and people, the only light I see is the light coming from all those bright lamps and light bulbs...' Friday looked at Violetta and said, 'you're new, and you're still a child, so you could be seeing things that aren't real.'

"I apoilgise to the court - there was a temporary change in proseuctor's. I only just learned of the case details, I'm afraid. However, I am the proseucotr of this trial, for now at least. And for the defen'se information, I am Second High Federal Prosecutor Aser Xavier Amun. Get on with the trial, please." He gave a smug grin.

Jay concentrated hard and then held up the bracelet. Its bright, ethereal blue light cast the brothers' shadows behind them. The light was a very bright blue indeed. Jeremy held on to Jay's other hand. The brightness of the light seemed to change the vibe of the environment entirely. 'I can feel something near... Letta... Could it be her?' "Letta!" Jay shouted out without thinking.
"Jay! Be careful... There is a crowd of people around... They might think you're insane!" Jeremy warned.
"It's okay, Jeremy... I'm trying to find out what this feeling is... I don't care how many people think I'm crazy. I can almost see it," Jay replied. To anyone else, he might seem delirious. He could swear he saw something for an instant that didn't resemble the people around him... He saw people... but they weren't people...
"Letta?" Jeremy called out, figuring it might do some good.

Or can you not see that? Are your eyes and ears failing you? Are you going mad? You obviously are." Aser spoke quickly, nto allowing the chance for a interupttion in his speech. Most of the courtroom ignored Jay's shout. Some turned to look his way, then shookt heir heads an watched the trial start to proceed. 'Friday! Friday!' Violetta whispered loudly, 'Look! Over there, there's a light, and it's calling me!' Friday laughed a bit, 'Violetta, you can't fool me into letting you leave early. The court is just beggining to you can start watching now.'
'No, look! I know them! Friday I know those people! See! Over there!' Violetta was getting louder now, fratically pointing towards Jay and Jeremy, 'See Friday, look!' Friday glanced where Violetta was pointing, then shrugged and started to watch the trial. Violetta made a move for the middle of the court room, and Friday grabbed her shoulder and grasped it tightly. 'Ow!' Violetta said, prying Friday's fingers off her shoulder, 'What was that for!'
'You can't go and talk to them, you need to stay here. If they can find you, you can talk to them. I can see the light from them too, and I'll permit you to see them. But please, try to keep your mind focused on the trial. your fate truly does depend on it.'

Aser said, crossing his arms, standing up straight, and breathing slowly. He was prepared for Phoenix Wright's 'legendary' court prowess. He would rip Wright limb from limb... no doubt in that. And if he lose... it would only be his second time.

*PING!* A bright flash of light came from the bracelet. Jay instantly began looing around. *SHWOOM!* Suddenly, his eyes spotted something... Two figures... They seemed to glow (a side-effect of the bracelet, Jay presumed) so they were clearly visible.
"Ah! What the heck just happened? Everything just got a lot darker... except for those two people over there..." Jeremy said, shocked by the sudden change in atmosphere.
"It's the bracelet, Jeremy. It picks up on massive culminations of spiritual energy, usually in the form of 'ghosts'; people who take on the shape of the body they remember having when they die and either don't 'cross over' or are required to come back to the material plane for some reason. As you know, the bracelet reacts to spiritual energy and, when such a large amount is found and the wearer recognizes the 'person' embodied by it, this happens," Jay explained. 'Wow! I had no idea I knew so much about this bracelet...' They rushed towards where the two figures were. "Letta? Is that you?" Jay asked as he walked up to her. The bracelet flashed a brilliant white again, and something happened... The brothers could see Letta perfectly... Only she wasn't a silver, ghostly figure now. She looked like a normal person and so did the woman next to her.
"Whoa! ...Er... uh, sorry about that... What's your name, miss?" Jeremy asked being as polite as he could. He was looking towards the other person; not Violetta.
"Oh my gosh... This is unbelievable," Jay stated in a slightly-shocked, yet knowing voice. 'So this is what my bracelet is capable of, huh? ...I wonder how I look to people around me now...' Jay thought, remembering how the scene had changed. "Letta... I'm s-so happy to see you again!" He could barely keep the tears in now and one or two rolled down his cheek.

Friday curiously looked towards Jay, but said nothing.
'Jay!' Violetta was positively beaming. She really didn't know what to say, but she was surely happy to see him again. 'Friday! Friday! See look!' Friday was, infact, still looking at Jay was a curious expression. It was odd someone would actually find them. She only told Violetta that if they could find them, she would let them speak because she thought they really wouldn't find them. Friday silently stood there, thinking about how unique this was. In all of her time doing this job, she had never ever encountered someone who could talk to the actual subject whom she was looking after.

"Fri-day..." Jeremy said aloud, looking at the woman, "That's a very nice name. So, why are you accompanying Letta?"
Jay could barely speak, but he did hold out the green-ribboned sketchbook. "T-thank you... Violetta... for the sketchbook." Jay began to weep lightly. He couldn't hide it. "Y-you look so wonderful, and so does the woman next to you... Who is she, by the way?"
"This is kind of a double-whammy for us. First of all, we discovered something truly amazing about us... Our ability to see into the ethereal plane with the help of these..." Jeremy held up his arm with the bracelet on it, "...Not to mention... you both look like 'normal' people now, despite the fact that we originally saw you as silver, ghostly figures. Second of all, we finally found Letta... We came back here to help her and we actually FOUND her... I never thought this would happen, ever."
"Letta... Remember when we first met in the courtroom? Remember how I told you I got there?" Jay asked softly. "Well, that's how we came here..."

Humhrey heard himself get called, albeit quit wrongly, and slowely waked hid way to th stand, never once letting his stride look awkward for fear of letting anyone get the wrong idea. The judge looked at him quizzically, triyng to remember something he had forgottern.

"....Ah, uh Please state your name and occupation for the court." The judge finally asked.

"Certainly, My Name is Humphrey Serv,and I am currently the butler for the Blu Family." The court murmered things, about how the Butler could testify about his master, how he might have rigged his testimony, scandalous rumors like that until the Judge banged his gavel.

"Thank you, Mr Amun?" Thejudge then asked

After then, he could be waved on his merry way and the Judge could pound his silly gavel and declare Mr. Blue guilty. Like evry other trial... hehe.

Humphrey instantly altered from his calm demeanor to a Furious and Loud version of himself. "HOW! DARE! YOU! How Dare You Swear On Such An Ocassion!! You Insult The Precious Memory Of Miss Violetta!!! You...." He breathed deeply and calmed himself down berfore adding. "I shall give you my testimony now..."

What I Saw

"Throughout the day, Miss Violetta and Master Thomas were argueing, about what I don't know;
Later in the day, there was a commotion in Miss Violetta's room, a cluttering noise;
I was forced into running upstairs to see what was happening, when I saw....;
My Master and Miss Violetta were Dueling, The Miss screaming, the Master Edging foreward;
I saw my Master Stomping foreward, preparing to attack her, but then...;
The Shelf I had installed recently collapsed, it's contents falling on to Miss Violetta;
I don't remember much after that..."

'Too bad it's not mine, right.' Friday crossed her arms and looked to the side.
'Your welcome,' Letta said, tipping her head from side to side, curls bouncing childishly along, 'I thought you'd like it...'
'This is Friday, anyways, she died on a Friday, so she told me to call her Friday... I don't know why she's here really...' Violetta looked at Friday for a moment, then smiled again, 'She said if you could find us, we could talk to you.'
Friday rolled her eyes a bit, then said, 'The trial has started already, shouldn't you be doing something other than chatting with Violetta?'
'Really?' Letta said, completely ignoring Friday, 'Again? Oh! And Jeremy's here too! Hi Jeremy!" Violetta was very happy to see them both. 'VIOLETTA.' Friday said sternly, giving her a glare, 'You are suppose to be watching the trial, and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't waste my time on me watching it, then having to explain the whole damn thing to you later.'

Jeremy sat down in a seat nearby. He was already taking notes on the butler's testimony.

Maya stood beside Jay and Phoenix, "It's been awhile...Nick!" She said. "Nick! The next witness after the butler is James! Please go easy on him because he's very sad about the, you know Letta, the victim!" Maya said.

James who fell asleep after the interview from Jeremy, woke up. Nggghh, M-My Head... James scratched his head, he realized that Letta was still not with him. L-Letta... James now, clenching his fist, he showed his anger and it was all to Mr. Thomas Blu. L-Letta, he did it...he did it!!! James got up and ran in the courtroom, "HOLD IT!" he yelled. "I-I saw it! Stop this case! The Defendant is guilty s-stop it! There's no reason to do examinations or to testify!!!" he said in the witness' stand. "HEY YOU! STOP RIGHT THERE!!!" The Baliff came charging at him, "Try and stop me! Mr.Blu did it! Mr.B-" James then got tackled by the Baliff and was sent flying to the wall, he was then taken away. "N-Nick! I gotta go help him, you got to do this without me!" Maya then ran after the baliff into the Prosecution's Lobby.

AUGHHHH!!! OWWW! Pain was going through James' body as he was resting in a private room. James didn't open his eyes, His body hurt so much he barely could move anything. "Cool, your awake!" James heard a voice, he opened his eyes and the darkness revealed Maya. "Hey! Your awake, cmon!" Maya said and she made gestures for James telling him to move. M-Maya...ARGHH, M-My Body, I'm so s-stupid! "S-Sorry Maya, I-I can't move..." James said. "O-Oh...I see, please I need you to do something," Maya asked. Huh!?! She wants me to do something handicap!?!? "A-And that i-is....?" He replied, "Oh...it's to, it's to, it's to make a solid testimony against Nick's client!" Maya said as she was relieved she got that out of her mouth. I-I see... "I-I can try...but please," James desparately tried to say, "Please what?" Maya asked. "P-Please, help me out during the testimony..." Maya thought, "Hmm, Okay! Since you're injured I guess they can let me help you! Just tell me the story!" James was satisfied, he was glad Maya was willing to help him.

Amy heard the judge's gavel ring in her ears. Uh-oh, the trial is starting! she thought as she rushed into the courtroom and went by the prosecutor's bench. She looked at the prosecutor. Weird...whatever happened to the other guy? she wondered as she stood up straight and looked at the other side of the courtroom. Phoenix Wright... she stared at him longingly, feeling blush rising to her cheeks. She quickly looked away and looked around the courtroom, and she said out loud, "We should start our cross-examination, shouldn't we, Mr. Wright?" she asked, feeling weird as she was saying that.

Humphrey was waiting on the witness stand, his cross examination was poised to begin soon. Both the Defence and Prosecution were going over their notes, so he was nervous as to which side would address him first. He stood by what he Knew and saw, His Master was innocent, it was just an accident, so he hoped the Court would see it the same way.
