Hey there. I was just wondering about something that happens in the final case of T&T. Sorry if this a topic that's been gone over hundreds of times before...
I couldn't help but think that what Misty Fey should have done is ask Iris (who was in on the whole Operation: Protect Maya plan as I recall) to tie her up so she could safely channel Dahlia Hawthorne. Once Dahlia was channelled, she'd find her self essentially imprisoned. Pearl wouldn't be able to channel her any more and Morgan's plan would be ruined.
When you consider that Misty's plan was "I'll channel Dahlia so Pearl can't" it doesn't make sense that she seemed to leave out the "But then I'll go and attempt to murder Maya" part and that she would make no real attempt to thwart Dahlia once she was "possessed" by her. I know that techincally, Godot was meant to be Dahlia's foil but why on Earth would Misty resort to a man killing her when she could have simply just had someone tie her up or lock her in a cell or something. Misty's plan makes as much sense as a plan in which you attempt to stop someone blowing up your house by rigging it with timebombs yourself
So my question is, is there any explanation for this? Of course, that's all taking it for granted that there was some great reason they couldn't just tell Pearl - after all, Maya's life hung in the balance so it was no time for trying to avoid upsetting Pearl.
Edit I just noticed the separate sub-boards for GS2 and GS3. Sorry - I somehow totally missed them...
