Well, considering if he fell from that sort of height, (9 foot, if I remember right) he would have died from either breaking his back or breaking his neck. Judging by the fact that his head is like FLOP I would assume it's his neck. They usually die instantly from that sort of high impact.

There should be. Judging by his Japanese name (Protect the Town), Dustin strikes me as this guy who looks out for people, and is generally nice to a lot of townsfolk. Even willing to say hello to a few passerbys.
