Well, when you think about it, the Phoenix Wright games (Not sure about Apllo Justice because I haven't played it yet) ARE about sending the bag guy to jail. You have to prove murderer guilty before you get the not guilty verdict for your client. Even though you don't get to see the real murderer's conviction, they do get convicted, and I think sentanced to death? I am not farmilliar with America's judicial system outside of the somewhat fictional Phoenix Wright series.
So when you really think about it, a prosecutor version is not too far-fetched, even though it is unlikely.
To fight for survival is only natural, but fighting for each other's survival is what makes us human.

If it is set in his days abroad, I'll expect Franziska to show up somewhere. After all, they both went abroad to continue their careers, Franny could've easily gone to the same country as him. Plus, Who's to say Gumshoe didn't eventually decide to fly over and help out Edgey? It would explain his absence from AA4.

Nah, I know this is that but Im talking one from many many months ago. Sometime mid last year I think, there was a discussion with the Capcom president or something and when asked about upcoming projects he said 'Gyakuten Saiban 5' and..
You know...I guess this was a really pointless question....its not like there WONT be a GS5 one day anyway....
Oh and as for the court scenes, Im pretty sure there going to slowly build up to that. You know like how Famitsu eventually built up to Klavier being revealed? They probably dont want to show TOO much because they know we would all die from over-exposure to awesome.

That being said, I'm iffy about a game starring Edgeworth. He was one of my favorite characters to start, but my opinion of him has slowly slipped downhill since the first game because of one reason: aaaaaaangst. I know that the fourth case in GS1 was a huge one and there was a lot of emotional damage, but christ, I am sick of the Reminiscence: DL6 Case music.
Please... please, Capcom, tell me you skipped the whole angst thing this time? Maybe? Focus on the gameplay and ignore all the emo? ... ugh, who am I kidding, I can hear the music playing already...
Let's pray for many, many Gumshoe antics to counter, at least.

, this game can't possibly go wrong. However, I still don't see Detective Gumshoe's role. Also, is Edgeworth investigating for:- His own benefit.
- Assisting Detective Gumshoe with his work.
- Another Prosecuter.
- A defense attorney, (depending on when this is set,
or 
)- Someone else.
- It's his new job.
Anyway, does anyone know whether this game is just focusing on investigations or does it include trials too?
Because I don't see why Capcom would exclude trials, after all it is Ace Attorney.
Hopefully all these questions will be answered in the upcoming months.
I'm am sooo looking forward to this.
