I don't have anything against any different kind of sexuality, so don't think that. (I know a couple of gay people/lesbians myself.) I just think it's a bizarre topic considering there was no evidence pointing to Adrian being a lesbian. I don't think appearances are enough to decide that. I mean, you never know, maybe Phoenix was half right when he thought Grossberg and Redd could have been lovers.

There are only two men in her life, and she hates both with a blazing passion. Even afterwards, she doesn't really thank Phoenix/Miles/the Judge much--she's still sort of fixated on Franziska.

And you're right, we can't be sure either way. It's never actually said in game, "Hey guess what, Adrian's a big ol' dyke!" Nor is it said, "Hey guess what, Adrian LOVES t3h c0ck!" So, it's up to us to interpret it. And as far as I'm concerned, there's far more evidence that points to her being attracted to women than there was saying she was attracted to men.
But honestly, I don't think she works well with Franziska because she's a lesbian and Friska's female. I think the two work well together because it's Adrian and Franziska--it's the CHARACTERS, not the genders.

So true. I can't think of anyone in the game - male or female - who works better with either of them than the other.

...but it's by no means romantic in any way. Miles is a huge source of strength to Franziska, even for someone as independant as she is... but he gives Franziska something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what she gets from Adrian.

• When Phoenix presented her suicide case to her, she didn't get mad afterwards. And she took his word that he wouldn't show it.
• After Phoenix found out the truth about his client, chased after the kidnapper, and found the touching note from Maya, he went back to Adrian in the detention center, and she was concerned how awful he looked. If she really didn't like Phoenix, she wouldn't be concerned.
• After she insults Phoenix at the end of that conversation, he is polite back to her. She's startled, then is polite rather than rude back.
• The most crucial moment is when the verdict is about to be handed to her after the judge sums up her 'guilt'. And who does she call out to? Phoenix. Why him? Mia is standing near him, and Edgeworth doesn't want her guilty.
Dont' get me wrong, I don't think there's a romantic connection, just a connection. And that is that Adrian doesn't trust most men, she trusted Franziska and Celeste more than anything else. But she doesn't hate all men, because when things looked the absolute worst for her, she called to Phoenix for help. And of course, our hero did.

I get what you mean, but that's only a very small minority and it's the same with guys. The majority of girls are good at coping alone and they don't cling. I know I don't cling much at all, I hate holding hands and I hate hugging most people. I do need to be with others though......What does it mean to be clingy?

I don't believe Fran's a "sociopath," she's... crippled emotionally due to her upbringing. From Adrian, she gets a source of genuine, true affection and love--which is something she really doesn't have in her life, because what she gets from Miles (though he certainly does love her as a sister) is... different and Von Karmesque. Adrian is good for Fran. And she's probably one of the few people patient enough to put up with Fran, especially early on.
