Is that blood or coffee?
It's really red to look like coffee, yet it looks...brown?
Can anyone clear this up?

...*attempts to add some logical explanation to this "theory"* Well, assuming there's still some coffee in that cup, it would be logical to think that the coffee would be mixed with his blood due to him breaking the cup with his bare hands (surely, you would hurt your hand if you add force to the cup and as a result breaking it, right?) Thus, explaining the mix of brown and red in his hand :D! ...well yes, that was my very sad attempt at explaining the obvious...lol

When Diego Crushed the Coffee Cup, it Shattered, You can look at the sprite sheet for a Frame by frame...
...meaning that if there was coffee still in the cup, it would have spilled onto the desk and floor in the frame by frame, however, we can't see any liquid but his cut, bloody hand. behind the cup
Proving that the cup was indeed empty, and that his hand was indeed bleeding

Yeah, the guy above me said something pretty logical, if someone could drink over 17 cups of coffee a day without dying, it probably would mess up your blood pigment.
