Over the past half decade these two have made one heck of a reputation for themselves. I'm curious to see what you guys think merit them for such renown. I'd also like to know which of their movies is your favorite.
Please, enlighten me into your minds'.

V for Vendetta was a pretty enjoyable romp, in my opinion, but I was never a fan of the Matrix. They were pretty hokey films.

What else have they done?

V for Vendetta was absolutely amazing one of my favorite movies of all time hands down. I actually wrote a paper on it.

When you mention "The Wachowski Brothers", the first thing that pops into my mind, as HH has already mentioned, is The Matrix triology. I'm not a big fan of the series, but I didn't think it sucked. Out of those three, however, I'd say the first one was the better of the three.

Never saw V for Vendetta...wait, maybe I did...in any case, I don't remember V for Vendetta that well, so I can't give you an opinion on that.

See, I actually liked The Matrix alot. Past the effects and martial arts is an excellent and thought provoking story that can lead one to question the very foundation of life. Even if you are devout in the idea of this world being the real and only one, it is still a great interest to consider.

The only thing I know about he Wachowski Bros. is that they're responsible for The Matrix trilogy, which I thought was very good if very confusing. The Animatrix helped me a bit on that note, though.

I found the Animatrix to be a little too boring and less of a story and more flash to interest nonfans. As a fan of the trilogy, I feel betrayed in a small sense.

Personally, I enjoyed V for Vendetta far more than The Matrix trilogy... The lack of Keanu Reeves is probably the reason why.

Well, that's just commonly accepted. I'm very happy that they kept the best actor for both V for Vendetta and Matrix.
Hugo Weaving works really well under these two. I'm not too happy with his Lord of the Rings role (though it was small and Lord of teh Rings is bad anyway).

Peter Jackson is awesome if the movie's budget is low. If it's ginormous, he starts to suck more than Anastasia Blue.

And that's a porn reference for those who don't get it.

Shouldn't this technically be the 'Wachowski Siblings' since of one of them claims to be transgendered?

I enjoyed the first Matrix movie; the others not so much. Animatrix gets props for some really awesome sequences and for having the awesome Studio 4 degrees celsius onboard.

Well, as true as that claim may be, the fact still remains that they started, and have their names as such: Wachowski Brothers.

I'm a fan of The Matrix and I enjoyed Animatrix very much. It was a nice change of pace from the "TEH MACHINES R ATTAKING OH NOES" style that is the Matrix.

On a side note, GS3 Winston Payne reminds me of Agent Smith.
