One hundred percent posts here. Have you actually taken a look anywhere else? You're completely overlooking the situation!

Objection

There are 3 things that are inaccurate about your statement.

1 - 100% posts here, look at the registration date. I joined because I wished to post and receive feedback about this program. My date is the same date that this topic was created. This has no evidence that I am being Biased.

2 - How does 100% of my posts in this topic reveal any biased opinions? Do my posts what others topics I've also "viewed" ? No, it simply shows where I have posted. I have yet to find anywhere else interesting to post yet, and due to my busy schedule I don't get much time to browse everywhere. At the moment I've not had anything to say about your casemaker, due to the fact that everything I've had to say has already been stated.

3 - Completely overlooking the situation? I am not. This topic is for Mechbowser's case maker. Such comments such as "Unlike mine" is out of line with the topic, it would be the evivalent of me going into your topic and saying. Oh guys look at this! *gives a link to some off-site phoenix wright tribute*

Take that

Therefor from what I've seen of your deductions so far and everything since our first posts that even comment about each other you seem to have had a personal grudge being produced.

And I have evidence to prove it..

Dont think it's been answered yet, so I ask again:
Can testimonies, cross examination, etc be done?
If so, how?

KennyRules... I don't think they're in it. Cross examinations certainly aren't so I don't think testminonies are either... I could be wrong.

You two, stop flaming each other.

DDRKat: Don't respond to Shaun. If you think he's being out of line, ignore him, or inform a mod about him. It is within the rules to do so. In this case though, ignoring is the best thing to do, as he's not really flaming anyone or causing anyone harm.

Shaun: You have to admit, you've been somewhat 'advertising' your Case Maker quite a bit in this topic. I can't be sure if you meant to do so or not, but please try to tone it down as to avoid any confusion (no offense intended).

Also, the screenshot you posted is unessecary and irrellavent. That's the percentage of posts they've made, not views. It doesn't prove whether or not he/she has or has not looked into your topic or anyone else's.

Now please, stop this argument, it's turning into more drama than case 1-4.

At the moment no, Kenny. It will be released in a later on version however. You could read the first post as I think it covers what also isn't in 2.0 yet.

One of these issues being evidence not working -just- yet but the problem has been fixed as you can see from my screenshot.

..? I just offered to make friends. Now what's this? SailorTaurus, I'm sorry if I made a comment before, but there's really no need to have that past event affect the post. I told you why I've mentioned it at any time... (It being my case maker.)

Shaun, i'm going to say this once and only once. After I say this, this argument shall end, and we all go back on topic, agreed?

1. This has nothing to do with that 'comment' you made earlier, and I feel my intelligence insulted for you to insinuate that. Throughout all the years of seeing my favorite forum (Sonic Vegemite) degrade into a worse state from petty arguments and misunderstandings blown to smithereens, i've grown to be somewhat distolerant of such things.

I'm trying to be fair, i'm not taking any sides, I just want this foolishly fooling argument to end. Franziska

2. Like I said, no idea if it's intentional or not. Sorry if you misunderstood me, but it's in your best interests to try and keep all talk of your case maker to your own topic, regardless of comparisons or similarities between the two. Again, for your best interest, so such a misunderstanding like this won't happen again.

Why can't we all be one big happy family and go swimming? Damon

Also, just for the sake of it, I have an idea on how Testimonies could be done.

1. Create a new testimony and write out each of the steps. Note what evidence can be used on specific peices, and the outcome of it. You can create steps within steps for when people alter/add to their testimony. You can also write down what happens if a step is Pressed (this is very similar to the actionlist screen, as you can make conversations happen), including ending the cross-examination alltogether.
2. In the actionlist editor, select the 'testimony' tab. From here there are numerous options:
-Present testimony. This makes the witness read out the testimony automatically.
-Cross-Examine. This starts the interactive cross examination.
3. After the 'cross-examine' option, you could place a value checker afterwards to see if a certain objective has been acheived (for example, there are times in PW when pressing a statement reveals all, and the cross examination ends, in this case the value will force the game to continue the storyline). In any other case, the testimony simply loops like PW usually does.

Just a random idea.

Now that, that sounds like a brilliant way to handle testimonies and cross examination. It would be very much user-friendly that way so even Good olde Payne could handle it Payne

To be honest, it's slightly inspired by RPG Maker XP's variables/switches (mostly used to see if something has happened, such as a chest opening, to make sure it doesn't happen again by accident) and Branching Conditions (where you could check if something has happened, in this case, if a peice of correct evidence was used).

Yup, i've been part of the RPG Maker scene since Don Miguel made that first illegal translation of RPGM98. ^^"

But yeah, i'm glad you like the idea. I just hope it would work well in practise. Ya know what they say about theories on paper, they don't always make good paper aeroplanes.

I just realized something.....
Wouldn't fan made cases go under Present Evidence (fan art), or Present Testimoney (fan fiction) part of the forum? If that would be the case we wouldn't really need a new section for fan cases. We technically already have a separate forum to post fan made cases.

I think it's a pretty good idea. First to create a testimony like you create an evidence, location etc... and then use it with already programmed options where you decide the main parts sort of. I just have some pointers to say.

First of, when a witness is saying his/her testimony he/she must be able to change pose during the testimony, just like in the game. I think you should be able to decide which pose for which statement.

Secendly, when you use the "Cross-Examination" tag and decides the options, there should be an option letting you decide if the testimony music should be allegro or moderato. I think it would be easiest if both these music files (in ogg) already had a decided name and they should follow in the Database map when you download the program.

And then I have some pointers about evidence. There must be an option letting you remove or change/update your evidence. Like sometimes Phoenix "removes" evidence that he doesn't need anylonger and such. You get the idea Kyouya

And then a smaller bug found. The "Action Lines" command, which lets you jump to another actionline list, doesn't work for me.
One day the Blue Badger shall rule the world. And I shall be his lojal minion.

Most of that can be already achieved so it would be pointless to do so.

-Testimony Change pose? Simply change the character at the start of the testimony
-decide the music? You can use Play song

It loads all sources from the Projects/{Your project here}/ folders. Inside you'll find all the usual folders (characters, backgrounds, sounds). CM does come with defaults however (most notably Phoenix, Mia and Larry) which you can easily copy and paste into your project's folder.

Sorry to bring this up again, but does anyoe here with Fireworks know if I can possibly create/export a GIF from it...that actually works with this Case Maker? I'm still attempting to make a closeup shot of Edgeworth, but all I've achieved is a flashing mess.

1. The animation from this site does NOT work properly.
2. The closeup on deufeufeu (sp?) site (no 75) is just a face. If I try to add on the rest of the head/hair, it flashes.
3. The Phoenix animation provided works. Where is this from?

Can anybody help with this situation?

EDIT: Gerkuman, that'll be to do with the animation speed. Add more still frames or a longer delay on said frames.

Let's break the problem down, HyperJerk. Answer these questions.

1. What EXACTLY does it say when the error comes up?
2. What is your character called?
3. Is the file named (charactername).gif [without the brackets]?

At first, try to put the sprite in as PWCM/Projects/*project name*/Characters/*character name*/*character name*.gif. It should most likely work. If it still says error, it's because there isn't both a character.gif and a character_T.gif.

If it still gives you an error, try to follow this tutorial:
http://pwcs.wetpaint.com/page/How+to+ad ... echaBowser

And if it still doesn't work, send me the case.
