FU-SION HA anyone? (okay bad reference made, time for serious answer)

I'd personally take Phoenix AFTER the time-skip over Kyle. He's just so freaking cool! In real life I'd also be waaaaaay to intimidated by Kyle to speak to him at all whereas with Phoenix I think I could hold a decent conversation.

Kyle says what he thinks and Phoenix thinks them in his thoughts. They are both very cool..... And hot >_>...

Well, for me, the two aren't exactly comparable. They're just so different, both of them amuse in a different manner. Though they both heavily rely on sarcasm, they evoke different feelings from the player. Phoenix, in a word, could be described as goofy. He has an extremely aloof personality and his antics can't help but make one laugh. Hyde, on the other hand, acts rather rough in a "I just wanna get the job done" sort of way. He's brash yet understandably so. All-in-all, I just think that both of them are equal in terms of uniqueness but they have very different characteristics making it hard to compare the two.

GS4 Phoenix > Kyle Hyde > GS1-3 Phoenix.

All alongside the first trilogy, I felt Phoenix was a complete wimp. He's toughened up over the 7 year gap, but kept himself grounded with Trucy.

Kyle had nothing to keep himself grounded, and finds it at the end of HD.

I think Kyle's a much more static character than Phoenix. i don't know why but i like him better. Hobo-phoenix is ten times cooler than Kyle though

Nick tried to be funny, but I just didn't like him. I liked the game, but not him.

Have to go with Kyle on this one, because he isn't afraid to act like a jerk with people. Some people, if you're too nice to them, you just won't be able to get what you want from them(damn, that seemed egoistic there). Although at the same time, when someone who can't take it does something that isn't really their fault (ie Melissa (was that her name?)) on the stairs. And, he's kind enough to help a little old lady down the stairs.
However, Phoenix does become quite like this in AJ, but you don't really see enough of it when he IS developed. Hyde's already developed, Nick's developing.

I like the Phoenix Wright series better, but i like Kyle Hyde more as a character and Phoenix as a "lovable character".

Hyde gets information out of people more easily. I mean, he asks them questions and then yells at them, and they tell the truth.

Seems a whole lot easier than Phoenix's roundabout way of having to "prove" everything first.

But Phoenix has a whole lot of heart.

In the end, there can't be a good pick, because each character pretty much fills in what the other doesn't have. Phoenix being the nice and funny guy/lovable loser, while Kyle willing to get his hands dirty and play hard with his own gallery of wierdos and idiots.

Kyle's a bit of a jerk sometimes. Well, more so, you are when you choose the smart arse thing to say. Pheonix is always chllin' and expresses alot of emotions.

lol, that was a really soft moment...I love Hyde's hardass character though. Well in general I love those kinds of hardboiled characters and his dialogue felt very film noir-ish to me which is worth major points. Also, his cynical humor made me laugh more than Phoenix ("talking to this guy is like trying to pull teeth from a grizzly"), everything he says just oozes with his character. It's awesome.

Plus Hyde has been on the streets for years. He's walked the beat, he has experience in life and he knows how to use it. It's awesome to see him laying the smackdown on the hotel guests when he knows they're in the wrong. In the end he always uses his experience to give them advice to turn their lives around though; Especially with Jeff, where he throws down the cash and tells him to get his ass in gear. He goes straight to the point, he doesn't hide behind flattering words or lies.
He seems like the kind of guy who, if on your side, you'd trust with your life. He does give a crap about people, but if you're a loser who doesn't have any honour then he will bash you, as he does with summer. And he's a badass.

In-Game Kyle = Hobo Phoenix, what with the unhappy attitude after losing the job.

But imagine the Kyle equivalent of GS 1-3 Phoenix, when both of them were still in their former jobs!

Now imagine the Feenie version of Kyle! ("Dollie"="Bradley-Boo")

Kyle but it's just because the younger Phoenix was pretty annoying. But if the older (not oldest) is put into consideration. I have to say both.

Phoenix vs. Kyle in court, that'd be fascinating...

Kyle. He feels somewhat smarter and his comments about the other guests are very witty. He also has much more backstory than Nick.
