Yes, I did model my name after Orca from .hack//. As for why, mostly it's because many other fans I've seen have named themselves after the more obvious characters, and I didn't just want to be another Kite or Balmung, so I chose the last "legendary" character who stood out in the story. Not to mention that I do tend to like swordsman-typed characters, as well, so that was a plus.

I liked the games enough. The anime, not so much.
Yes. The main character in G.U. actually has a personality.
Plus, Piros and Alkaid are fun. Too bad the latter's dub voice makes me want to shove glass in my ears. (Why the hell didn't they just use Wendee Lee again?)

In the original .hack series, Wendee played Black Rose, and Black Rose and Alkaid (Yowkow) had the same voice actress in Japan. So it'd make sense that they have the same one in English too.

I hated it.
I still went on to watch .hack//SIGN and it's my current third favourite anime. I've also got infection and am watching roots.
In terms of favourite character, mine's probably Aura. She freaks me out.
