I kinda-sorta have a girlfriend at the moment but I'm not really sure...
We just kinda tease each other a lot.Anyway, I noticed when I was "officially" single that I was VERY cynical about relationships...
I have many yaoi OTPs which overlap... And most of which involve the Gavins.

All of my friends walks in and out of relationships, when they've got someone they're really happy but when it's over...

I've been in two (long distance) relationships in the past and made two boys cry over me...
But it's almost Valentine's day and I'm ok with being single, I won't even be bitter about it, it's not like couples are trying to bully me. I feel happy for them! They have something I wanted so badly, a beautiful relationship with an amazing handsome prince.
Besides, I just recently broke the imaginary chains that kept me attached to a man who didn't even care about me, I actually feel happy and free now. No more hopeless infactuation for an arrogant man.

I recently got fed up with a good friend of mine due to the way he treated me when he got a girlfriend and eventually met people that were in the same major as he was. He stopped talking to me as much as we did in the past, and he tended to prioritize his girlfriend over me when it came to hanging out. The last straw was when we had agreed to go to the movies with another friend of mine, the day of I texted him where to meet and he never responded. I called him about a dozen times and never got a response. Even after the day was over I never got a reply from him. I called him out on it the next day at school, and he gave me the bullshit excuse of not having his phone. Ok that's great, so why didn't he lemme know after the fact? Well he didn't think of that. Great. Awesome. Good friendship we got. Would you do that to your girlfriend?
He basically said to me that situation wouldn't have happened in the first place because she would've been pissed.... GREAT! Fuck you dude. Honestly, I've pretty much forsaken the concept of friendship. When I told another about this incident, he basically told me I was just overreacting and I should calm down. Yeah, my other friends don't listen to my problems.
I haven't done a whole lot in the romantic aspect of relationships, but the friends I've made haven't been super stellar in the slightest.
I'm done with Life's Multiplayer, I'll go back to playing Singeplayer.

I feel for you since I kind of don't believe in love anymore due to things that happened in the past. And I'm usually a loner in real life, I'm not proud of being alone and everytime I learn to love someone in any way, the universe takes that person away from me, miles and miles away. Lately I've been having days where I just hate the world.

Man I think people are just worried because they need to rush into relationships and whatnot these days. Too much emphasis on hooking up and gossip and quick an easy fun. Folks less interested in the ol' fashioned courting and love route. No need to rush folks should just take it easy and not let being 'single' or with someone be a big factor in their early life.

I've been having similar thoughts as these, but I'm wanting to see all my "friends" relationships end horribly. Nothing violent or anything, but I want their spirits to be crushed and for them to sink into despair. That'll teach them to prioritize romantic relationships over friendship!

I've learned my lesson about taking real life romance seriously, the hard way. Ok, I did come off as boastful, but when this happened to me, it certainly wasn't a shining moment. It was weird and annoying how I couldn't compliment a guy without said guy seeing it as an insult. And because of this, I'm too afraid to get too close to guys because I don't want to ruin another guy's life.
Oh and by the way, whatever you do, do NOT take your unrequited love for granted, you WILL face your own unrequited love...I'm living proof because I've been on BOTH sides of the unfortunate situation.
Now, romance isn't my top priority, I'd rather spread random acts of kindness.

Though DeMata I feel ya bro, I'm currently dating a lovely girl who was a close friend for at least 5 years (still is) and now we're coming up on our 3rd year anniversary. I'd do the whole proposal thing at somepoint but I feel there should be 3 years minimum for that plus I'd like to actually have a reliable source of income and a place for us to stay for that.

When I broke up with my second boyfriend, he deleted me. (But I guess I deserved it.) And my first love, and first boyfriend I still talk to everyday, but not so much anymore. We've been fighting lately, and he refuses to be in a long distance relationship because of what happened to him in the past. I'm questioning on whether or not I still love him, or if my "love" is just teenage hormones in action. And it really angered me when he said he loved me for being nice because niceness is not a personality trait, it's an attitude, and I may be nicer compared to some people but I do have my nasty moments.Oh yeah, I currently live in Kentucky (It sucks over here!) both boys I've been in a relationship with live in California. (I really miss California, it's the only place I ever really fit in.

)Awwh! :3 Seeing this makes me so happy! Also, I've switched boyfriends more than my underwear. Ehehe.. I guess, I just picked the wrong ones and then I would dump them or they would dump me. My first boyfriend was a bisexual guy on facebook who lives in New York (and still does). He had a lot of girl-/boyfriends before so he's pretty much experienced in this thing called love. But for me it was so new and because of that we only lasted 5 months. But he was my first, so I guess it was also 'trying out'. How to be in a relationship, I mean. Sure, it hurts a lot when someone is breaking up with you and your heart can't handle this, it always gets broken after every break up and sure, I cried a lot of times before after someone dumped me. I only had 6 or 7 boyfriends two/three years ago and after my last break up, I took a break from relationships because you always need a break every once in a while because then you'll go crazy with all those feelings inside you. I grew out of that phase but my parents thinks I'm weird for still not being super interested or being in a relationship-even though a lot of people out there are like that-and always talk about setting me up with someone. I wish them luck because I don't like the idea of love at first sight and don't believe of knowing you've found the right one after 3 dates or a few months together. If loves come for me after so be it, if not then it doesn't really matter, as long as have friends and a goal in life it's enough.

. I meant lonely in terms of friends since the ones I have/had are/were more conjoined to their girlfriends, so it was like they never even existed. Hell, it's been about a month or two since I last talked to them. Just shows where I am on the totem pole I guess.

He kept on telling me that I was self absorbed and I was hurting him. It may be true, but I couldn't feel sorry for this, because at the same time he was acting like an oversensitive a**hole!
Just because I have different opinions about certain anime. He thinks just because I like to poke fun at animes like Sword Art Online or Highschool of the Dead, that automatically means I hate them. He doesn't like it when I voice all the negatives about those anime or when I give my opinion on how those animes could be better.

I'm sorry for snapping at you, my life isn't going that well either, in fact it just got worse. Just make sure you get your feelings out before you have a breakdown.

Man you must be in an awful dark place to wish that upon anyone, I'd never want to do that. Granted they sound rather insensitive but to wish such crippling unhappiness on someone hmm.
I'd always thought that was one of the pluses of gamer friends for me, very few have girlfriends! *badumdumpish* Though when they do the girlfriends typically like games too and can hang around and play games with your pals like anyone else.
Still hey man think it's just your work getting on top of you. Just think before you go to bed each night about one good thing in your life or that happened to you that day that you are thankful for and see if you feel any better.

Personally I just want to forget about the pain other people caused me now, since I'll have nothing to gain from revenge.
Still blows that it has to end this way between me and the one most precious to me, but we can never seem to make eachother happy. Even though when I was 17 and he was 18 we had dreams of getting married...I feel foolish, maybe teenage love is non-existant.

Nah I do enjoy watching Disney films, I'll never grow too old for that.
I grew up with trusting issues and overprotective parents raising me to think that it is best to not trust people. I've spend most of my life trying to prove them wrong but got backstabbed by a lot of people in the end so "fairy tale" love isn't going to work for me, it exists, just not for me. Besides, I'm the kind of person who walks around with anything to defend myself with on my person 99% of the time, so yep the trust needs to be gained first.

It's not that foolish I've met teachers married with their teenage dates, at least you have some nice experience you can look back to. I don't think you can force those feelings either, sounds like you should treat yourself and relax a little. It would be interesting to see CR bringing couples together though.

As of lately (about over the past 1 to 3 years) I'm still satisfied with how I live but I'm starting to realize I could enjoy my life so much more if I could build more friendships with others. I'll admit, it's a little hard for me, and it's certainly not made any easier by the fact that I'm socially awkward in school and I don't have a lot in common with the classmates I have. A lot of my classmates talk about television shows that I don't watch or don't care to watch because I don't watch whole lot of television in general. Also, about 99% of the gamers in my class are absolutely OBSSESSED with XBox 360. I'm probably a minority on this one, but I don't have any XBox systems (I've been more of a Sony/Nintendo guy).
As for all that "boyfriend-girlfriend" stuff, yeaaah I'm not very experienced in that field either. It's the same thing here, I've just been really satisfied without a girlfriend and I never put too much thought into it, and the girls that I've been around just don't appear very relatable. Though I did have an unrequited love for a girl once, it ended up being the most embarrassing and probably most shameful experience in recent memory. It was mostly my fault it was so awkward because I was constantly trying to talk with her and hang out with her, and it came off as a bit stalker-ish. So after I finally got over it and learned the mistakes that I made, I tried to completely distance myself from girlfriend relationships entirely.
As of recently, like I've said before, I'm starting to realize my life could be even more enjoyable if I just opened myself up a little more. One thing I've learned about my personality is that I love seeing other people happy because of something I've done for them. Which is why I have a habit of doing random acts of kindness for people like lending money to people with no lunch, holding doors for others, etc. So when I apply that personality trait to my social life, I start to think that maybe finding a girl that I can relate to and place my trust and kindness in could help me enjoy life just a little more.
