Personally, I think that Great Revival in particular sounds fuller in concert form, even if the recordings on whole are poor.

While there are a lot of repeats they aren't quite the same as Gyakuten meets Orchestra. Turnabout Sisters, for example, is done with strings instead of the Harpsicord, the Intro to Apollo's song is now the intro to the GS4 Court Suite, Great Revival (while identical) sounds much fuller etc etc...
Long story short, use your own discrimination =)

The concert sounds wicked, Godot's theme is *_* and the guitar Serenade sounds much better in an orchestral context, all of the pieces of music sound really good can't wait to get my hands on the CD and DVD

I don't think CDs are region encoded. I bought the Final Fantasy Tactics soundtrack a while back and it played flawlessly on my players.
