Just saw it last night. It was good, but Rhodey was too much of a sissy. And why do the bad guys almost always have to be huge, towering, bald, big-headed, bad-breath guys? >_>

Um, die-hard comic book fangirl ahoy! <3

I was pleased. Mind you I went in expecting to shout "NO YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG" half the film. I wasn't thrilled with the Pepper x Tony thing... But I knew that was coming and it was done in a way that made me not want to kill anyone.
Rhodey is a bit more badass in comic book canon. But in comic book canon, he's a Marine.
Obidiah was always big, bald, and a jerk. That's just the way he is.

So all in all, they didn't BUTCHER anything. I was happy.

Um and if you didn't stay after the credits, you missed the best part. Dead serious.

Spoiler:
I might not follow the Ultimates line of Marvel (which is where black Nick Fury comes from) but um.. Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury... Fucking badass. Badass Badass Badass.
AVENGERS INITIATIVE COME ON! Iron Man, Cap, Thor... I bet the other Avengers will be Hulk, Wasp, and whichever Hank Pym incarnation they feel like today. Go with the original cartoon series line up... What do you think?
Bonus points for them battling Ultron, amirite or amirite? <3

I saw the movie opening night, and needless to say, it was pretty awesome.

The only thing I didn't like about it was probably the way they killed Starks business partner, I wish he could've used the suit a bit more for the battle rather than him being disarmed.

But it was pretty good.

Anyway here is a fun fact about how they got Colonel Rhodey rank wrong:

Colonel Rhodey's insignia was a silver oak leaf, right?

Well the rank insignia for a Colonel is an eagle holding an oak branch, however Rhodey's was a silver oak leaf, he should've been either a Lietenant Colonel, or just had a different insignia on his shoulder.

Like I said, a fun fact.

I saw the movie 3 days ago and it was nice! XD I can't wait for the sequel XD Downey was awesome.

And since I don't read the comics, I had no idea that Jarvis was really supposed to be a butler...

It was awesome. Knowing they are movies coming out for Captain America, Ant-Man, Thor and Hulk- The only one who is a main member of the Avengers that doesn't have a new movie planned is Wasp (Thank God for that).

One of the greatest Marvel movies ever made in my opinion.

Yeah, I had never heard of Iron Man before I saw this movie. I guess my vein of dorkiness ran deeper into anime than comic books. But this was a wonderful movie! Very fun and entertaining. And yes, some of those one-liners were freaking hilarious! XD

I don't often have high expectations of movies based on comics/graphic novels (which doesn't mean that th original source work is bad, but it's often exploited for ticket sales), but I'm definitely proven wrong by some films, and this was one of them. It was quite a lot of fun.

Iron Man is by far the best super hero I've seen in modern times if not the best of all. The character development is a great setup for a newer set of movies to follow. Especially how the movie was directed. Robert Downey Jr. played his part as Tony Stark very well and I was glad to have seen it on the day it was released. Completely worth it.

Iron Man was awesome. I don't really follow the comics much, but it definitely made me interested in checking them out. The computer systems that Stark uses are uber-sexy, and I love how he's such a shameless playboy. Robert Downey Jr. definitely fit the role well.

I saw it last night. Aside from Robert Downey Jr.'s performance as Tony Stark, it was really average. Lame final battle, monologuing villains, and stupid terrorists (although I suppose that comes naturally). Overall, not worth the hype it gets. Go see "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" instead.

As an aspiring director, and a big CGI buff, I'm kinda nick picky when it comes to certain things. (A camera angle I didn't like, a small second where the CGI was bad)
I have seen this movie TWICE and I have seen nothing objectionable about it. This movie is pure gold, through and through, and it joins my small list of "golden" movies.
