Brenda made out the squeak of desperation. "WHAT?!?!?" Brenda barely held back a flame burst from scorching the speck in her hand. "Well, how the heck are we supposed to fix that? Is there a sort of glitch with your suit or something? Holy moly..." Brenda was freaking out that G could stay like this forever. "Okayokayokayokayokay.... Let's hold on a second. Is there a lab or something here with stuff that could fix this? And do you think this can be fixed?" I hope it can be!

Suddenly,the temperature for Shrink-G rose.He began to sweat profusely,and he noticed that Brenda was trying not to burn him.The questions came,and he began to answer them."No,there's no problem with my suit.My suit doesn't allow me to change size.I can shrink at will.And...."He paused.Trying to figure out how Brenda would react."There is a lab....but it can't fix me."He squeaked.

((Haha, Gustice can't keep up with all the people who ask to RP with his various characters ;P ))

A blue cat walked into the room. It walked around, observing Brenda with one eyebrow - if it can be considered so when then the entire body of the animal in question is full of hair - raised. It then turned it's attention to the speck in her hand, and it squinted slightly. Understanding that it was G-Shrink, the cat's hair started to dissappear, and parts became replaced by clothes as it stood up and became Allan. "Hello. What's Shrink's problem?"

The red dragon roared with frustration as the burts sank into his back and spread out to do maxiumum damage. It hurt plenty, but the layers of thick cales prevented anyone from seeing the extent of the damage. The dragon thrashed it's tail, whacking benches and desks out of the way, thent he wings started flapping. They were no longer strong enough to help him fly, but they were enough to create large gusts of wind to batter anyone in their way against the walls. The dragon growled, then emitted yet anohter sweeping beam towards Sonic Beetle.

((TPK is in France for two weeks? Personal experience says she'll come back with some form of disease ;P ))

Rider just shrugged at the old man's suggestion."Fine,whatever."He said,and walked over to the briefcase.He opened it,and inside was a belt.Nothing fancy,but the emblem on it was a metallic,armored Stag beetle.

Rider seemed drawn to it,and without thinking,took the belt out of the case and put it on.

He was able to put it on...that settles it. This is the one. The old man grabbed his cane and swung the mandible horns of the beetle on the belt over. He listened with a satisfied expression as the sound of "Transform!" emitted from the belt.

Sonic Beetle cursed loudly, attempting to perform an odd mixture of dodging and running as he avoided the blast. However, he was grazed in the arm by it. There was a two-inch deep gash in the red armor and the Kevlar-like substance underneath. He winced, briefly touching a finger to it. Blood. Great. Just great. He pushed the pain out of his mind for the moment, focusing on getting out of the way. He quickly came into view of a good target, locking on using the displays mounted in the helmet's visor. He squeezed the trigger, firing several bursts at what he believed to be a very useful target--the dragon's eyes.

Two bursts went into each eye. The rest were stopped by the closing of it's eyelids. The four blasts were effectively painful. It stopped the beam, but the tail moved faster, by now ripping tiles from the floor and hurling them across the room like fatal frisbees. The wings pushed air like fans, shoving everything not weighed down into the walls. The wounded lizard pointed it's nose skywards, and fired burts in anger. Large roof tiles fell in random places, and a chandelier collapsed as well.

((Uh, Gustice? I kinda need Serpent to talk with Catalyst ASAP. Sorry for my impatience.))

Crap. "Okay, G, we'll think of something." Brenda sighed resignedly. She couldn't think of anything that could be the matter or the solution. "Hello. What's Shrink's problem?" "HOLY!" Brenda almost dropped the tiny speck of Shrink-G onto the floor. She was not expecting anyone in here. She hadn't even heard the man come in. It was like he was as silent as a cat. ((I know, bad simile, don't shoot me.)) "Um, well, hi, and he seems to be stuck in his shrunken form here." Like you could think of anything to help. "Do you have any idea as to what could be the problem?" Brenda asked, as she still couldn't think of anything.
((I don't think very highly of people until they prove themselves to me, so I'm venting it here. And I didn't have the best day. But this is not the soap opera thread, it's the super awesome hero thread! Yay! And heads up, I'm going to Alaska the 25th of June until the 9th of July, and I'll probably not be on at all, if very sparingly. So you guys could, like, knock me out in the battle here, and I guess that will take care of that! ^^))

The staff clicked as Catalyst materialised in front of the second chair. He sat down quickly, without asking for permission or even glancing at Serpent. When he was sat down, he opened a book on his lap and chose a page. Only then did he look at Serpent and speak. "So, you've read my letter? The book for my promised army, Master Serpent?" Some of it was needless flattery, but it was vital that Serpent would accept.

((@Kino; If you go before my idea comes to fruitition, I'll ask for permission to godmod slightly to knock you out, 'kay?))

"Well..." Allan considered it. "All I can think of is a blow to the head, but I might crush him."

Brenda barely heard the squeak, but once she did, her heart lifted up into her throat. "Really? You mean it?" Brenda set G down on a side table next to one of the beds and started over to the transporter. "Well?" she said to the mysterious man. "Aren't you coming?"

Allan's cat ears picked up Gustice's voice easy. "We could help upstairs... Sounds like Aokage and the Beetle-guy are having trouble."

Catalyst smiled. "Simple. You give me that book," he tapped a tome on the table. It was entirely black, except for three gold letters. 'VII'. Catalyst pressed on. "Once I have that, I will summon my army and hand control to you. Do you wish to see them?"

He had other plans.Shrink-G had told Brenda a little lie....He was still coming.When he was set down on the table,he immediatly jumped off,landing on the hard,cold floor.Ow..my legs...He thought,but he had to move.Shrink-G took another strong jump,and grabbed a loose string off the bottom of Brenda's pants.

He looked up,up,and way up some more.Brenda towering above him.

Allan nodded. "C'mon. They're in the main lobby." His muscles shrank and his body turned to fur as he became a cat. He saw Gustice and winked. He thenn darted down the corridor.

Catalyst grinned and took the book. "Very well. And here it is!" He stood up, and conjured a mrtal staff from the air. Lights lit up in the casino, and they were in a large room, presumably for loot. There wasn't a lot in this room. Perfect. He hit his staff base on the floor. A grey tiger appeared. obviously a Shifted laguz. Then a yellow cat. Quickly, all manner of cats, tigers and wolves were on the floor, with some red lions mixed among them. In the air, hawks and ravens swirled around in curious paterns.

Reja felt a tug. His eyes healed, he opened them to see a warehouse.

At the far back of the room, a large red dragon stood. Catalyst's army was assembled. The sorceror smiled, and gave a cup of fluid to Serpent. "Care for a drink?"

((Gustice, that fluid will increase Serpent's strength, but will shatter his mind and make him incredibly loyal to Catalyst. It's up to you if he drinks it.))

Sonic Beetle winced, blood dripping down the wound on his arm, spattering the weapon he held loosely in his hand. The shoulder of the other arm had been dislocated. He put down the weapon, breathing heavily as he flipped over the beetle's horn and took off the belt, the weapon and armor pouring into its pocket dimension. He grunted, standing up. Carrying the belt in the arm with the gash, he began making his way to find the others. Alex stumbled, his legs feeling like they'd taken a good beating too. "That damn tail...it felt like a Mack truck." he muttered to himself. With the pain and his destination of the medical bay clouding his mind, he didn't even notice his new shirt was ruined. Admittedly, though, that was the least of his concern. He finally stumbled into the doorway of the medical bay, collapsing.

Catalyst smiled. "Gather your agents, Serpent. Assign them platoons and legions. Do what you will with your armies after that. Catalyst vanished, and materialised in his room in COCOA HQ. He smiled contently.

Allan didn't like things falling on him. Nevertheless, someone did fall on him. Looked like the human who'd been fighting Reja. Allan unShifted beneath Alex, and soon was supporting Alex by the arm. He slowly started to walk into the medical bay, intending to put Alex on a bed if he could.

Nat struggled as much as he could, but he was stuck tight... His frozen hands and feet meant that his powers were useless. He looked at his surroundings.... it looked like a cellar, perhaps......

Obilisk walked down the street. He knew the area well, the expertly trimmed Shrubbery, the finely carved Sculptures, the ancestral architechture. This was definately the COCOA HQ. It had been, what, 2 years since he last came here, before being dejected by those high and mighty bastards.
But he'd get his own back.
He walked straight though the entrance, the guards too energyless to stop him. He wandered straight to the main lab, where he'd find most of the big players in the world saving game. He spoke, in his Listless voice,
"Hey, guess who's back for a visit?"

((Sorry, I'm back! I've been busy... Um, packing for France. Haven't been yet ^_^;;. But it's only 5 or 6 days! My school couldn't afford two weeks, even if it tried! :P))

AeroDynamik had been watching all this with considerable interest. She had said, very quietly, that she was perfectly okay, thank you very much, to Brenda... But her voice was still weak. The ceiling shook, and everyone was gone. Even that Finn guy. It was weird, she'd felt like she'd seen him before...
Then she came to her senses. That freaking dragon! she thought, hot anger burning up inside her. But her cool intellect washed it down and she began to form a plan. She clambered out of her bed, pulling wires out of her and downing a glass of water. She walked over to the hole in the ground and lowered herself down. Euw. She set herself down and began to crawl, squirming through the pipe. She hoped it lead where she thought it lead...

Finn bounded up the stairs, ready for some action. The smell of blood overcame his senses and his eyes flashed red. Roaring, he ripped off his shirt to reveal a smooth, scaly skin which happened to be bullet proof. His dorsal fin was now sticking up and fully noticable. He bared his teeth and snarled, almost ripping up his own mouth. This was the dangerous part of Finn's power. He no longer knew who was friend or foe, and snapped at any and everything, drawing blood where he could. The stench filled his nostrils and the bloodlust was upon him. No matter what he looked like normally, Finn was dangerous.

Brenda bounded over to the door when a man suddenly fell on top of the cat-man. "ACK! Whoa, he's seriously hurt!" Brenda helped to put him down on the bed Aero had recently occupied, Where did she go?, and surveyed his wounds. "Man, these look serious. G? G, where did you go?" She scanned the table where she had placed the tiny man, but there was no speck. "Don't TELL me he ran off to the fight. *sigh* I guess we'll have to deal with this ourselves." God help us. And G, I don't want him squished!
((Yes, I'm very religious. Nate, love the new guy, and with him in here, this battle will be EPIC! Yay. *dance of happy* Um.... oh yeah. BAD PUN, BAD PUN! But I do it enough too. ^^))

Oh man...."Shrink-G said in his normal voice,which couldn't be heard,watched Alex be handled.I wish I could help,but I don't want to give away where I am.He thought,and continued to climb.Now,he was at Brenda's lower shin,and the drop looked incredible.

"Alright, let's see here." Brenda looked more closely at the man she recognized as the transformer. She had already seen the large gash on his one arm, and the other looked like it was barely attached to the man himself. Probably a dislocated shoulder. "Okay," Brenda said as she looked around the room and started rummaging in drawers. She found a lot of gauze, some medical tape, and a few tubes of Bacitracin. "Get his shirt off so we can fully bandage that gash. I don't know what to do with his shoulder, though." Dad would. Where the heck is he? Upstairs fighting, I guess. I just want to see him again and make sure this wasn't a shock thing or something. Brenda peeled the shirt off of the sweat-soaked man's body and started applying the bandages.

Brenda finished the bandaging, and looked again at that other shoulder. "Phew, okay. I'll have to pop that back in. But first..." Brenda searched for a sling, a few ice packs, and some painkillers. "Alright, here we go!" Brenda grabbed the man's arm and lifted it up as best she could back into the socket. She heard a slight pop. "Crap, I hope that's a good thing." She lifted the arm into the sling, applied the ice packs, and gave the man the painkillers with some water. "You're going to need X-rays eventually, but I don't know how to work that." She looked at the cat-man, and he certainly didn't look like he knew what he was doing. Oh well, I'm doing my best. If only G were here, tiny or not.

Shrink-G was exhausted.He had reached Brenda's knee,and he looked up.To him,he still had miles to go.Well,at least she's helping Alex.He thought.Brenda moved again,and Shrink-G struggled to hold on.Must....keep.....going.....

Brenda winced as another blast shook the building. She just felt like she needed to be up there fighting, if only to see her dad again. But she couldn't leave the injured man by himself. She, once again, was torn between two decisions. She started to pace again, but kept her heat under control so not to make any more marks. Oops. I'll clean those up after all of this. ((Oh crap, pacing. Sorry there, G! :oops:

Brenda began to pace fast,and Shrink-G barely held on.Wind whipped past him,and he struggled to breath.But he still held on,and climbed.The speck had reached Brenda's upper leg.

Alex nodded as his arm was placed into the sling, wincing. He grunted as the bone went back into its socket. "That's better...more of a bad ache now than bloody murder." he said. He tried to sit up, but immediately fell straight onto his back with a wince and a groan. "I probably won't be moving too soon..." He took the painkillers, closing his eyes. He moved his able arm up onto his chest, looking at the belt with the red beetle mounted on it. "If I'd had the Hyper Beetle token...I wouldn't be in this mess..." he murmured. "If only I'd had it."

Slowly, a man in a white coat made his way through a run-down area of town. His eyes were set on the dilapidated old casino ahead of him, an elusive smirk on his face. He pulled his coat tighter around his frame, pushing the sleeve back on one arm in the process. A gold, insectoid device with a pointed end was clearly visible, shining on the man's right wrist. Obsidian bands wrapped around it near the sharp end. Deciding it would be wise to get to his destination as quickly as possible, he began running.

Dispatching the armed men near the entrance of the building with a quick 'sting' to the throat, he continued on his way to where he believed this place's owner would be...aha, here it was. There were lots of...animals. And Serpent, apparently. "Mr. Serpent. It's come to my attention you've been seeking the power Sonic Beetle holds...is this right?" he grinned. "I believe I can provide it." He twisted the wasp on the bracelet around once, saying "Transform." echoed by the bracelet. Armor began forming in hexagonal increments over his body from the device, the optics on the suit flashing. The bracelet then emitted the sound of "Change Wasp!"

"Name's Sonic Wasp. I believe for the right price, we could work something out." He grinned behind his helmet, cocking his head to the side.

Obilisk was mildly surprised to find there was a fight going on in the area. 'huh, that was unexpected' he thought. He walked away at the pace he always does, finding a dark corner, before flipping his hoodie inside out, so it became a long, flowing black cloak, that covered his body and face, Flicking his long boots on, slipping on his thing, studded black gloves, and sticking on a plain black maskover the lower part of his face.

And with that, Boredom entered the fray.

Finn turned to the newcomer, snapping and snarling, but found that his energy began to drain. He growled, and bit him on the arm. He did have shark teeth, after all. His eyes slowly faded back to their original colour, and he sat down, looking a bit fazed. "Hey! What's the deal, man?" he asked. "What the hell did you do to me!?" He snarled again, flashing his teeth. His dorsal fin started to droop down, and he felt really weak. But the shark was in his genetics, they couldn't get rid of that. Could they?

This is too slow. Gathering up her energy, AeroDynamik shot through the pipes as fast as she could. After a while it began to slope upwards and she smiled. She knew where the pipes led. However, she shot past her destination, and had to crawl backwards, rather uncomfortably. She was guided by the sound of the fight above, and choosing a weak spot, much like Finn, she punched the pipe many times at about a hundred punches a second. Her hand was a blur, and after about 10 seconds, the pipe cracked, and gave way, to reveal a hole at the top. She also broke the floor above her, but very quietly, and only big enough so she could see what was going on. Oops. The fight was below her, not above. AeroDynamik smiled, and punched the bottom of the pipe. They're going to have some massive repair works after this. Finally, she burst through, diving out of the pipe, then spreading her wings and swooping up at the last minute. Then she stopped, hovering above the fight. It was only supposed to be a distraction, after all.
