For proof, take a look at Meekins, then look at the spoilered image below:
It makes me wonder what would happen if Rock Lee and Mike Meekins should meet.
Also, I do find Meekins to have a slight resemblance to Piros from the .hack// series.
Somehow I picture Meekins to have a bowl cut under his hat.
