There's actually very few characters I truly dislike, outside of Godot and everyone from 4-2 that didn't have a harmonica.

Apparently people hate him? He's probably the coolest and most interesting characters in the whole AA universe. Sure his shot bubble was annoying, but thanks to him, we had one of the wierdest cross examinations ever. (Hello! *squak*...) 
I don't know why people hate him so much, I really liked him...except the last part of his shocked sprite with his mouth open...
Sure, he got creepy with those hemmorids, but I liked him in the original where he helped out a lot. I thought he was quite fun to deal with. He made a somewhat dull case better.
I want to find out more about this guy and what his secrets were...plus, I loved his percieve.
I love Gant. Sure he's a little wierd, but still...his breakdown was one of the best. I liked Ini. Sure she said "like" a lot, but still, I found her really entertaining. 
"Hmm...this picture...it looks familiar somehow..." "It's your picture!"
Sure, she was insensitive about Bat, but still...she didn't know any better. She was brought up in a fantasy world, and didn't know much more than Pearl did about the outside world. That's very understandable.
I like these guys. Trillo's interaction with Ben made his dialouge un to read. I can't help but feel bad for him....he felt alone in the world...how could you not be bitter to society if society hates you? He's the only one I know who made a joke about the art style of the game...that makes him cool. 
It's DAHLIA. She's the most evil person I've ever seen. She's so twisted, it's cute. How could you not like Iris? She was one of my favorite T&T characters, and is someone I'd like to be with.

Guess I haven't been paying enough attention. His line about animals having 'the eye' is one of my favourite quotes from JFA. - I don't get the Polly hate either. Why does everybody hate Grey? There's not a lot to go on, there. I didn't him annoying at all, and his lines about the weather girl cracked me up every time. HE was like House, but a lot more angry than sarcastic. I just wish we could have had a little more time with him. ): PEOPLE HATE GODOT?!
I found Godot to be one cool cat. I thought his metaphors were funny in an almost sophisticated kind of way, and- Once you examine them- Are actually true, at times. f it wasn't for Edgeworth, this guy would probably be my favorite prosecutor of the entire series. He had a slight attitude problem, I won't lie, but hey, you'd have a slight attitude problem too if

Overall, I feel as thought people just looked at his personality and thought 'Wow, okay, this guy's a complete dick.' without giving him a chance, ESPECIALLY after 3-5.
Ayup, I like this guy, too. I always suspected him to be Yogi once you learn about what happened on DL-6, but I just loved his 'old man' cover-up. And, once he's reviled, I can't help but feel bad for him. Living your entire like in shame...If I were Yogi, I would have done anything, ANYTHING, to get my revenge. Which is why I understand why he did what he did.

The guy is hilarious and his heart is in a good place too. He doesn't hide much and is willing to help out. Did I mention that he's hilarious and sweet? C'mon people, Phoenix was a rookie too in AA1. I think three games for Phoenix's arc is enough too, let's give Polly a chance!

Apollo, because the more you want Phoenix Wright back, I like him even more as a main character, no clue why that happens. Besides, we still have GS5 and GS6 a chance for him to prove himself so the least you could do is give him a chance.
Luke Atmey, he just wanted to be famous, and prove that he was the detective he claimed to be, I can relate to him somehow.

I loved Acro. He was probably the most sympathetic villain in the series. I felt it was especially sad that everyone said he was the most well-adjusted of the troupe.
I really enjoyed Moe as well. I thought he was a genuinely nice person, and surprisingly wise. I actually liked all the circus folk apart from Trilo.
I wouldn't say everyone hates him, as he seems to be pretty divisive, but Brushel was one of my favourite characters in Apollo Justice. I find his surreal ramblings about absolutely nothing so endearing. I just wish he'd stop that nauseating smile.
I thought White was great. Mainly because his tendency to invent his own words gives off the feeling that you're cross-examining George W. Bush.
And Apollo is the best.
