I was able to connect with other games, I was even able to find the open towns, it was when I tried to go to the towns that it didn't work.
I ended up completely reseting my router. Right now I have the Distant Town search open, I want to see it the complete restart helped.
Edit: Nope. The game hates me...
Is anyone able to connect with a Belkin router? That is what I have. A Belkin N Wierless Router.
It works for every other game I have tried it with, just not AC:WW...

The problem is that you must you have the town you want to visit registered on your friend roster AND your friend must have your town registered on his etc.

I got interested in Animal Crossing after reading "The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing" from the Something God Aweful forums it was pretty good and I would link it except that to see it you have to be a member since it is old now.
To ease the Friend Code hurt I thought I share this link to an Animal Crossing anime based off Wild World it is a Eng Sub though but it is pretty good.

It makes me incredibly nostalgic whenever I watch it for some reason. I love that the music from Wild Wild World that is in the anime!TheObjectionist and Leeling793 I already added you! Whenever I get the USB router installed again I will try and find a time to open my town gates to those who want to visit.
I can't wait for the New Animal Crossing for the Wii to come out! The last I heard about it are rumors that it might be a MMORPG game but I don't think that is going to happen.
