Meanwhile, Leah, one of the shortest girls in her neighborhood (who is amazingly in 6th grade and is moving to 7th), was sitting under her tree in her backyard trying to avoid the heat. Her mom felt that she was playing too much video games and wanted her to be active so she sent Leah outside. Man mom, this is why I didn't want to go out... It's so hot you can fry an egg on the sidewalk!. Then she started to hear some voices from outside the backyard. Wondering what it was, she peered through the small spaces between the fences. "Uhm..." she mumbled as she tried to see. She could see Sklarvv, her neighbor, behind something and other people. Then she saw it! A lemonade stand! Leah drooled at the thought of drinking some ice cold lemonade. "I have to get some!" she exclaimed. Looking through her pockets, not a penny was found. D'aw man! I have no money! she thought, disappointed. But then, Leah got an idea. She ran in her house and came back with a piggy bank. "Sorry about this, Pig," she said with a bright smile.
KRRRASH!
"$5.17... well, I was saving this money for Wii Fit, but this is an emergency!" She took $1.00 and ran to the lemonade stand. Icy cold lemonade, look out! Leah's comin' for ya!

"Okay, thanks..." Sklar said to the girl with the markers before grabbing a fat black one and pondering what to write. "I'm sorry, did I not get your name or do I have alzheimer's?"
In her quick, jerky scrawl she scribbled "LEMONADE: 25 CENTS COME ON, PEOPLES, WE'RE DESPERATE"
She looked up at the short kid walking twards her. (Well, I shouldn't judge, since I'm only 5' 2", but whatever) "Hay, how's it going?" Sklar greeted hapilly as she scribbled on the O in "ON" to make it look like a lemon.

Kitten switched her parasol to her other hand, so she could hold into her puppy's leash better. It was very hot out. Especially when you wore 2 pounds of frilly clothing to make yourself happy. 'I-if only I brought a glass of water...' she said, tugging at the collar of her pink frilly dress. Her dogs barking brought her out of her thoughts. "Eh? Come on Zero, lets go..." she said, tugging at his leash. Zero was a hyper little pommeranian, always barking at people, because he loved to see them. She looked to see what he was barking at. It seemed like some kids in the neighbor hood made a lemonaide stand. She smiled. "Perfect, just what I need!" the brown haired girl said happily as she skipped across the street.

"I'm desperate, can I have a-er-4 glasses of lemonade?" Then she looked at Sklarvv weirdly. "Strange, usually I see little kids doing lemonade stands..." (BTW, you have a right to judge Sklar, I'm 4'2'.)

"YAY! Ohmygod I love lemonade!" Caitlin was hyper. Which was strange, considering how hot it was. It seemed too hot to even speak, let alone scream. But it was as if the heat didn't exist for Cait. Actually, Cait was like that all the time. She was just a very hyper, peppy, friendly person. It wass no wonder that she was the most popular girl at her school. "Ohmygod, Ryan, let's go get some lemonade! Come on!" And then she ran, dragging a bewildered Ryan with her, over to the group of people surrounding the small lemonade stand.

As if it weren't confusing enough, a girl in lolita with a dog, a rocker-type, and a spaz were added to the mix. "Yikes! Eh, hi..?" Unlike Cait, Sklar wasn't the popular type. She always clammed up in groups bigger than about 5 that she didn't know well. "Nice dog," she added to the pom, scratching it's ears "I'm more of the big doofy dog type, meyslf, but I like these things..." She stopped suddenly wondering if she could get closed down for health violations by juicing with dog hands. She wiped them on her jeans before pouring Leah four glasses. "Hey, I'm Sklarvv and I live... Right here, actually." she cringed at the "little kids" comment "I wouldn't if I had a choice, kid. Trust me on this one,"
She flagged down the two new people
