When you're on the Putfile page of the song you want to download, you can right-click on the page background and choose "View Source." You'll get the page's source code in a little display, and then if you search the code for the phrase ".mp3" (or in a few cases ".wav") you can find the direct link to the file on Putfile's server. Then finally, copy that link into the address bar, and once the file page loads, go to File -> Save Page As, and you can download the song.
Or if your browser lets you, just right-click on the player and choose "save-as." ^_^ That doesn't work for me, but I know it does on some computers.

SO! I agree with Diana. Let's liven up this thread. LET'S BEGIN CASTING! *is shot* :acro:

I apologise for the inactivity lately, my Uni tests and interviews are all over now but I still have a load of work left. I hope everyone's doing fine! For the time being uploads on the website can be fully accessed again.

Yay! Ethed cameo! Glad to hear from ya. ;3

So I've got some of the accompaniment for Battle of Wits worked out. It's not much, but I'll work on it more today if I have the time!

Well, I'm off to take my US History EOC. Wish me luck! (And post! >O)

(By the way, this isn't relevant just yet, but this Sunday until next Friday I will be in Las Vegas. I won't be compyless or internetless, but I won't be able to record or anything, obviously. ;3 I'll still be around though, working on something else.)

My, but things ARE quiet, huh? ^^' I'm afraid I haven't been able to do much....

I did have a question, though, for the thread - is everyone still interested in doing a T-shirt? I can't remember if we all had a design decided on. The company I work for doesn't have any orders on the slate right now, so I can actually do the layout if everyone can decide on what they want. Someone just needs to step forward to front the order so someone can sign off for it. ^^'

Thanks for the bandaid, Diana! *places on bullet hole in forehead*

LadyV, I love the t-shirt idea... but I think you might have a hard time getting somebody to sign off on something like that and offer to take monetary and legal responsibility... ya know? It would make me nervous to do that, anyway. :nick-sweat:

What Have I Done is being a little delayed because I have another real-life project I'm working on, but hopefully it won't be more than a few days. ^_^

Legally, I think it would be all right - "PW: The Musical" isn't exactly sticking a big ol' "Phoenix Wright" on there. PW could be anything - Power Wings, Pinball Wizard, Paladin Wars.... XDDD'

As for the monetary responsibility...that would have to be talked out, I think, anyhow, as to how the group order could be done. ^^' Whoever is comfortable with it is welcome to contact me when everyone is ready.

Haha, Ifeedonjapanesehobos, that video made my day. :maya:

As far as progress goes, the TbF storyboards are going very slowly, and won't be done at least for another two weeks. I've got some finals to be studying for. And I've been in an art slump.

But I have been working on something... BEHOLD! MY SUCKISH GERMAN TRANSLATION OF THREE LINES OF THE OBJECTION SONG! I call it... "Das Einspruch Lied!" Because JFA was too hard to translate.

Spoiler: Das EINSPRUCH Lied
Und nach hast du der Wiederspruch gefunden,
Seig Beweis um dir zu hilft
Und schrei...
EINSPRUCH! :wall-bang:

I know there are probably some grammatical errors; I had to look up a lot in my dictionary. The first line is kind of off, because I changed "danach" (which I knew was wrong) to "nach." And also, the "Wiederspruch" was supposed to be at the end of the first line for rhyming purposes (because I couldn't find any other words that fit that rhymed with "Einspruch"), but it wouldn't match to the tune or the meaning unless I put it in past tense. Hence the lack of any rhyme scheme. At all. I'm probably not going to continue translating though. I can't rhyme in English, let alone German. :yuusaku:

Can you handle us? So cool, baby, scandalous.

"No, not your mother." XD Sorry, Mari! I think that was probably you replying to my smacktalk when you recorded that weeks ago. I imagine our original conversation went something like this:

Mari (VK): What else could possibly be required?
Sarah (ff3): Your mother.
Mari: No, not your mother.

It is so funny to imagine all those characters with your wonderful voices! By the way, I just figured out something about VK from hearing you sing that. I can hear him now--
Spoiler: VK's courtroom announcement
:karma: "I interrupt this trial to bring you an important announcement. I am actually a deep-voiced woman. We now return you to your regularly scheduled trial"

I absolutely love your Justice for All! You use so much emotion in your voice when you're singing! :acro: Sounds to me like we have another contender for the role of Mia. I especially love the way you sing the last note--your vibrato sounds so wonderful and your decrescendo is done simply beautifully.

"Some attorneys are dishonest--they'll do anything to win!"

The revised version, nifty! Also, "so I picked this occupation" is now "so I chose this occupation."

Oh, and great job! It sounds excellent.

Nice JFA there, PhantomOtaku! :)

Okay, so I've sort of written a vocal line for Perfection Incarnate. It does bear a resemblance to Anything To Win; however, I asked ff3girl and she said it would be feasible as its own song. I'll go post it here.

Perfection Incarnate

Hopefully I've uploaded the right one (I have two under the same name) but I can't check since my iTunes has broken. The wrong one has a whole bunch of mistakes in it, including there being two versions of lines playing at the same time. If I've put up that one, just say. :)

Sounds like singing runs in the family, ThePhantomOtaku! Those were lovely. I'm jealous of your vibrato too <3

Just a thought...TriforceBun, would it be possible to produce a version of JfA that's been moved up a step or so, for those of us who don't have the low range required? Or would it distort the accompaniment too much? It's just such a pretty song, and I hate that I can't actually sing parts of it :(

Also, Caitlin, that was very nice. The only part that sounded particularly reminiscent of Anything to Win (to me, anyway) was the first verse, so I think it would work quite well as its own song. I really like what you do with some of the longer lines...I'll have to listen to it again to pinpoint exactly where, but yeah. I liked it :)

That's all I've got for now...for being almost out of school, it's been kind of hectic. I am working on a couple of things, though - including a melody for Salutation Here's Dl-6 song, which is actually going quite well.

Hm, I could try that. It might distort the accompaniment a bit though (like the lower version of I'll Be There).

The JFA Reprise is in a higher key though...ever gave that a shot? I've only heard a couple of Mias on that one.

Yep! :) I actually recorded this a while back...I thought I posted it, but chances are I meant to and just forgot >> And because I'm paranoid...the "Epic Reprise" part of the title is meant to mean that the Reprise itself is epic, not that my particular rendition is.

But yeah, I just thought it might be worth a shot. And more people need to record the Reprise, as well!

Hey just dropping in (I'm back now, as you probably have gathered)

Just seeing if there's any storyboarding/concept sketches/graphics/anything like that that desperately needs doing that I can help out with.

Otherwise I might just start looking at any completed storyboards that I can clean up and colour.

Okay, so for the past few nights I haven't been getting to sleep until midnight-ish because of the various things my computer makes me want to do. And yesterday I remembered that I had some stickers that go on CD's to make them look all pretty and such. Then I said to myself, "Self, you should really make a cover for a CD for the Musical!" I thought it would be fun to do for some giggles, so I did.

They're really bad quality, because my computer was being special and wouldn't let me save it in anything but .gif. Then I had to go onto another computer to change the gif into a jpg so I could put it online. :grey: But anyways, here they are!
Spoiler: Front Cover

This is SO not the picture from the cover of the first game, honest!

Spoiler: Back Cover
Image

For this, I decided to just put in the most memorable/Important songs in the musical.AKA, My favorites. ^^ Sorry if yours isn't in there. I'm guessing the musical should have around 15-20 songs in it, depending on their lengths. The order's probably all screwed up, too. I know that. The song for #6 is a really bad crack song between chibiryu92 and her sister and me. Believe me, you do NOT want to hear that one. Also, the barcode was just put there to make it look all official-like.

Spoiler: The CD
