Older Maya and older Pearl

(Okay, these are my first edits for PW characters, so, don't expect too much)

I was dissapointed when I heard that neither Pearl nor Maya were going to be featured in GS4. I decided to give them a "7 years later look" and this is the result

Maya wasn't too hard to make. Pearl took a fair amount of time though. I'll make more sprites later.

And before you trash my Inbox, RevFirst doesn't care that I'm doing this =P. But people still might hate me for this xD.

I think that Maya looks pretty good. It just looks a little too much like Mia to me. Pearl needs a lot of work; the body's fine, but the head looks, wierd. Try to make it look older. Also, the skin is a little off to me. Good job though, they are pretty good.

I have to agree, although, I don't think Maya's going to change physically since she's 17 in AA (most girls stop growing between 14 and 16, at least, height wise, it's just Maya's in denial).

I'd say look at some of the adult characters a bit for inspiration for Pearl's face, I'd say enlarge the head a smidge most of all. Adults do have smaller head-to-body ratios than children, but that is a bit too much. Also, you might want to consider editing the face to make Pearl look more mature.

(I know I can't sprite for toffee, but I sketch a lot)

The old Harumi (Pearl) needs some work, and not just on the head. For some reason, I always imagined her to have long hair when she got older, since she mentioned wanting to grow her hair out in JFA. You could try altering her sprite to suit that. It still looks fine as it is, though... except the head's a bit weird.

Old Mayoi (Maya) looks too... er, "busty". Perhaps you should reduce her breast size a little so she doesn't look too much like ChiMayoi (MayaMia)?

Okay, I took some of the evalutation and decided to clean it up. To be honest, Maya's breasts were a bit too big =P. Of course, sal here would be like " Sal

" if he saw the origonals xD

Okay, now that I think about it, it looked better the first time xD. Don't worry, I just need to make a few more tweaks and it will be perfect.

What's off about Pearl is that her forehead is abnormally high - this is to give her the "babyfaced" look as a child, but it's something that would not be present in a teenage character. Her features in general would also have to be overhauled, more defined and less "soft" as she grows up.
