I'm a 5'3 red-headed lesbian biological female of twenty two years of age. I hit twenty three in a couple of months. I have blue eyes and blue framed glasses and freckles that break out like a skin cancer across my nose and cheeks if I'm out in the sun too long. I never tan, but I always burn. Curse my Irish skin.

I have a girlfriend, and she is awesome. We've dated off and on for about two years, though so far more "on" than "off."

Huge video game nerd; was literally raised on them. My father was one, consequently there are photos of me playing with a joystick before I could walk. We owned a Sega Genesis before we owned a decent car. I tend to operate on Sony based systems (I mostly stick with RPG's) and Nintendo handhelds.

I am addicted to the Suikoden game series.

I used to want to be a lawyer, then I worked in an actual law firm. I went through just about all of my college's prelaw program before quitting and switching, and now I'm studying psychology. I work in a psychology office, and I love what I do. Eventually I'd like to go into a specifically geared field involving gender and sexuality. I find the entire gender spectrum (there are more than two options, you know) fascinating.

I am addicted to Law & Order SVU. My Netflix queue will never be the same.

I used to be heavy into anime in high school and the beginning of college, but I've mostly fallen out of it. I still like some of it from back in My Day (Hana Yori Dango, Slayers, Weiß, Lodoss, etc), and there are even a couple that have come out recently that I like (Ouran Host Club, Juuni Kokki). But for the most part, I consider myself "out" of the anime scene. I'm also anal when it comes to manga. I refuse to buy the English volumes, mostly because I can buy three of the Japanese for the same price.

I am a tightwad.

I collect asian ball-jointed dolls, specifically of the LUTS variety. I currently have three and a half. I say half, because one of my guys is currently a floating head on a cloth body. I'll get him a resin one as soon as I have a spare $450.

I also collect Pinky: ST figures, because I'm a big fruit.

Main language is English. I studied Japanese, Spanish, Esperanto and a bit of Chinese in both high school and college.

I love western comics. I'm a Marvel whore. I have a good five boxes of issues sitting next to my computer desk at home.

I like slash, but hate "yaoi" fans for the most part. Though I think most of that stems for my complete and utter hatred of the "seme/uke" dichotomy that seems to come with it. Also of fangirls/boys who use random bits of Japanese in English sentences. "OMG That is SO KAWAII!!11grapefruit" etc. Red, white-hot rage.

I also enjoy femmeslash, though I've never found a pairing that really jumped out and bit me.

I talk. A lot.
Goodbye, my Mars!

Goodbye strange fruits!

24. Female. From Northern California. Lived in Santa Cruz for a number of years and I miss that town dearly. Pretty much straight, but I'd be gay for Wonder Woman or Chun-Li. Still coming off a breakup, I took it pretty badly Larry . Right now I'm torn between going to law school and going back to university to get an Earth Science degree. Right now I'm leaning towards the law school idea because my aunt's divorce lawyer sucks and I thought "if THAT person can pass the bar, go into practice, and have paying clients, so could I."

I'm not opposed to slash, I just can't stand rabid yaoi fans (especially when they get all hyper at conventions. I am so, SO glad that Yaoi paddles are being banned from various conventions).

And my number one pet peeve is when people put soda ("pop"/"coke" or what have you. Caffeinated soft drinks.) in coffee mugs. It just doesn't taste right that way.

It's a small wooden oar with the word "YAOI" emblazoned on one side. Paddles of this fashion (sans the "yaoi" bit of course) are usually associated with fraternity hazing practices ("thank you sir! May I have another?").

For a number of years they were being sold at cons and were being heavily misused by the more hyper/stupid/irresponsible yaoi fans, usually in attempts to harass or coerce male cosplayers into posing for homoerotic pictures.

Well there was this one guy that asked me out when I was in 6th grade..and he was in 8th XD But I said no for obvious reasons (I was 11! Hell no!). And in my sophmore year a friend of mine asked me out but I turned him down because I felt I wasn't ready for a relationship yet. I felt bad because he even wrote me a poem. But I couldn't see him more than just a friend. *sigh* Sadshoe

You fruits are too busy prancing about in rainbow latex and assless chaps. Everyone knows a gay man's weakness is shiny objects. All we have to do is hold up glittery tiaras and you're as good as ours.

We're taking over. In an army of plaid shirts, short-cropped haircuts and wielding power tools. Let this serve as a warning to you.

As a sidenote, that's one stereotype I really fall horribly into. I can't redecorate to save my soul. My apartment has nothing on it's walls, save like.. two sconces I put up with thumbtacks. Fortunately my girlfriend is more like a gay man than even a heterosexual woman in those regards, and has vowed to redecorate my place once I move into my new apartment next month.

More amusing ironies -- I hate tuna. Or fish of any kind, really. I love sausage, along with most forms of beef.

Mm. Beef.

Just don't ask me to fix your car. Not if you want it to go anywhere, anyway. I mean, I can change your oil and fix a flat, but that's about it.

I admit to having a fetish for genderfucks. Specifically FTM's. Maybe I just like 'em manly.

I'm stupidly sloppy. It drives my girlfriend nuts.

And riddle me this. Why is it that I'm more into manslash than femmeslash? And my straight female friends are into femmeslash instead of manslash. Ben
