Mine is a story of oppurtunity and dissapointment. I soon found, though, that mine was not a unique story. But it's mine. My story. And now I want to tell it to you. The story of Nickolas Partin. He didn't know what to expect. Nickolas had just gotten off the run down plane from La Mancha, Spain, for a fresh start, here in Liberty City, in the land of oppurtunity. (To join, we need a name, an incentive for coming to the city, and a class of living, though we all will have to turn to crime.

My CR family is my beautiful wife Arkillian, and my three daughters Lida_Rose, Franzika Von ehmpke5, angel_of_nature and my son, Meenyman.

"Hermano!" Nickolas turned to see the source of the cry. His brother, Miguel. "Miguel!" he cried. His brother had lived in Liberty City for a few years, and apparently, he had a great life. "Finally come, eh? Life is grand, Nickolas!" he said, entering his beat up Sedan. "So where is this mansion you talked about?" Nick asked as they entered a dirty neighborhood. "Here!" Miguel said proudly, opening his apartment door into a disgusting, small room.

"You lying asshole!" Nickolas shouted. Miguel laughed. "Como que lying? Life is grand!" "Grand? Where's the mansion? The girls with big titties you said?" Nick retorted. "Okay, I exaggerated a little, but this the land of Oppurtunity! It will come." Miguel's cell phone rang. "Ah, work. Here, get comfy, take a walk, mi casa es su casa." He walked out and Nick grumbled, "What casa?" He stepped out of the apartment onto the dirty street. Land of Oppurtunity...

Miguel entered his cab office and sat down at the small desk. He pulled his phone out and called Nick. "Hey, hermano! Enjoying the city?" "I've been nearly run over twice, almost mugged, and I'm lost," he replied. "Well, a little more time and-" The door shot open and angry men came in. "You owe us the money!" Miguel yelped. "Help!" he said into the phone.

Motive for coming to LC: To take over the Asian Mafias within Liberty City

-9:00 AM- Goddammit. KT had been waiting for his ride for who knows how long. Suddenly, and in a rather abruptly nap-ending manner came a yell from a rather energetic girl who came up to him and hugged him. Her pink hair was really shiny as her mobster outfit fit her physique to seem like really shiny leather.
"Hey, hey! Nee-chan! I didn't think they sent you here!" KT said with a huge smile. "That reminds me. Who's the idiot who was supposed to give me a ride!? I've been waiting exactly six hours!"
The pink haired girl whimpered playfully then chuckled. "Boke nii-chan." "Boke. Doesn't he get all pissy when he gets called that?" "Yeah, since people keep calling him boke (retard), and since that's not really his name, he does get all bunched up. Come on, we need to get you home." "Home? Where the hell are they putting me now?" The adorably energetic one just smiled, and made a pouty face afterwards. "Nii-chan! You shouldn't be so mean. The bosses here are pricks, too, though. You might not want to excercise such a mean way of thinking." He just patted her head, following her to the limo.
-11:00 AM-
KT had arrived. His hyperactive little sister ran off to her room upon the car stopping. Grabbing his luggage from the trunk, his butler then showed him to the master bedroom where he now lived. Giving him roughly $200, he gave the order to leave his presence.
"So this is my new life, huh? I might like it here after all... Now if I could gather some hitmen up for now..." He said, thinking to himself and reaching into the closet where they hid weapons from types galore, a sniper, assault rifle, the works. Sighing, he closed the doors and looked to his left. A closet with nothing in it so he could put his clothing, which he did.
"Looks like I've got some work ahead of me. Good thing I actually learned the languages here."
-12:30 PM-
Wasn't long before the man in a suit began to explore the city's ways. Sure he was an immigrant, but he was legal at the point. If anyone wanted to mess with him, he'd do the work himself. Hitmen here were said to be untrustworthy at times, so he kept a low profile. Hopefully, he'd be able to find a good hitman, otherwise, he'd have to become one himself, not that he minded. Walking up to a random hot dog vendor, he browsed their menu.
"All Beef Dog, no relish." He said in a fluently english tone. The vendor looked at him. "I haven't seen youse here. You from outta country or somethin'?" KT just gave him a chortle. "Yeah, came straight from the land of the rising sun." Giving a small tip along with the cost of the dog, he walked away, waving a generous 'bye' while doing so.
For once the man wasn't being a prick. He felt good here... till he noticed some mobsters roughing up a door very loudly. Cracking his knuckles and reaching for his Desert Eagle, he carefully approached one of the men from behind, seizing him by the neck, and once he got in, pulled out the Desert Eagle.
"Okay, motherfuckers. We can do this one way. The first being the you get the hell out and forget you even did this, or the I blow all your goddamned brains out and I frame the survivor." He was serious, too. That pistol he had in his hand went through walls. And with the bandage on his wrist, he could shoot pin-point with no problem despite the tremendous power behind the pistol.

(Much obliged, hermano!) Nickolas shot through the door of Miguel's office, fists ready. "Herman- What?!" There was a man holding up the mobsters. He seemed to be helping, so Nickolas ran up and punched one of the loan sharks. "That's right! Get the fuck out of here! If you mess with my brother again, I'll fucking break you!" The mobsters ran, dropping their guns. Nickolas picked one up and sighed. "Hermano, you okay?" Miguel whimpered. "Tell him to put the gun down!" Nick turned to the man. "Thank you."

"Not a problem, good sir. Judging by your tone of voice, I'd say you're a tough fighter. I'd like to see that in action, mi amigo." Putting the gun away, he held out his hand, card in it. "Forgive my rudeness, I almost forgot to introduce myself. I am Keisuke Takazato of the Takazato Yakuza. You can call me KT. My fellow racers call me that as do my friends. On the card I am giving you is my address and contact information. If you need to stop by to see if I have work, feel free." He gave the man an honest smile, showing friendly intent. "Besides, I doubt you want the family who those stupid fucks work for harassing your brother here. I get the same way when loan sharks try to mooch off of me."

Nickolas took the card and looked at the gun he had picked up. He already had a crime life back in Spain, and now here, in the Land of Oppurtunity, he had to resort to it again. "You know, I just wanted to start over here after my terrible life in La Mancha. Relaxed, calm, and legal. But now..." He sighed. "I´ll take your offer. But I want full, 24 hour bodyguards for my brother Miguel," he said, pointing to his brother.

"That is possible. Except they won't be hanging around him so much as capping whoever starts. I've seen these mooks on my way home, and frankly, they're mafia members, too. I'll be having work for you to off a few people, and I'll be providing supplies. So think of it as a sponsorship to do some justice around here. Besides. KT just waved goodbye, and made his way home. Sure he just offered some random guy a job, but he felt like it was a good thing. He's helping someone out and getting some enemies erased. Easy work, he thought as he made his way home.

Mafia? Shit. Nickolas shook his head. What had he done now? He'd gotten involved in a mafia war, just like back in Spain. Nothing changed, just the races. He nodded and waved the man out, but sighed and sat down miserably. "Miguel, I know what you're thinking..." he started, but Miguel cut in, "YES!!! My troubles are OVER!!! No more mafia, no more loan sharks, thank you hermano, thank you!!!" He ran over and hugged Nickolas, much to his surprise. "I thought you would be upset!" "Upset? Why? I'm getting a free pass out of debt and annoying goons! Come on, let's get a drink."

They stepped into the messy apartment and Miguel collapsed onto the dirty sofa, out like a light from the drinks. Nickolas walked outside to the musky neighborhood air and looked at the card he'd gotten. "Once again. But maybe, just maybe, I could make a better life here, legal or not. Maybe crime is just another way of seeing things, another way of life. I don't know, but..." He pulled his phone out. "I'm going to make it." He dialed the number.

It was quite late. So, KT was on his chair, minding his own business and working out some papers. His phone rang. checking the ID, he just shrugged, since it was just a number. Answering it with a polite tone, he just picked it up. "Keisuke Takazato here. Who's speaking?"

"Mr. Partin. Glad to see you've taken my offer." KT was merely smiling at the moment, knowing what he could do now. "I've checked your records, Nickolas. I take it you've come to LC for a legit life? Do some work for me, and I'll get you that life fairly easily. All I need you to do is this: Cause a bit of chaos. There's a contact by the docks who'll be speaking to you about the mission. It'll pay big and I'll need you to come to my place after you're done. That seem simple enough?" He asked, concerned to see if Nickolas was up to a mission that involved blowing stuff up... and offing a few mafia members here and there. He knew about his records, but still. He had to find out for himself. A big mission was the perfect test in his mind then.. and will always be. Loyalty was scarce in this world and he knew it.

"Okay. The contact is fully informed. He will the only non-security person there. Call me once you've done it. And, watch your ass. The Italians are in war with the Russians right now, so you may be hit by a stray bullet. And also, there might already be something going down between the two, so try to kill two with one. I'll be expecting a call and a visit shortly after. Talk to you later." Hanging up, he went to his closet, loading some weapons up. Sighing, he went up to the roof, pulling out the sniper he had tuned a while back. Wasn't too long before he had set his sights on the port Nickolas was given an order to go to.
"That worker makes a false move, and it'll be the Italians' AND the Russians' heads on a goddamn row of stakes."

Nickolas nodded and walked out of his apartment, but groaned. He didn't have a car. Well, he was a criminal, so why not act like one? He broke the window of a small sedan and hotwired it nervously, then drived off like a maniac towards the docks, avoiding any police on the way. When he arrived, there were men in suits speaking diffirent languages that he guessed were Italian and Russian, basically his worst nightmare. As the guns came out, Nick revved the car into the middle, taking a few mafians out and pissing off the rest, who opened fire on Nick and eachother.

When he got through to the docks, he froze as he saw the contact in the headlights. He turned off the car, walked over and greeted the man. "Hello. Do you know a >Mr. KT? I'm Nickolas Partin, his new employee."

"Yeah I'm him. Mister Takazato told me someone with blood on his wheels'd show up like now." Opening one of the warehouses he guarded, he revealed the insides of the place. Littered with weapons that were neatly organized, the contact merely gave him the keys to the warehouse.
"The boss told me to entrust you with this. I would advise packing something rather silent, because you want them to think the other did it. If the Takazato Family becomes a target, then it'll be longer for KT to fulfill his side of the deal. So make sure you do it right the first time, yes?" Handing Nickolas the keys, the man merely left, changing into a suit, and headed to a nearby coffee shop.
KT was still watching the docks. Nothing out of the ordinary.. but he was only joking when he mentioned the blood on the wheels. Hard to believe his prediction came true, though.

Nickolas looked at the keys and sighed with readiness. He found the warehouse and opened it. He gasped with utter shock at all the weapons, but snapped out of it. "H-Hother..." He muttered and picked up a silenced pistol, an assault rifle, and a knife. "Quiet, eh? Oh, I'll give them quiet." He stashed a grenade as well and walked out with a backpack full of armaments.

KT would then send a message to Nickolas, considering he still was keeping an eye on him.
"Partin. Take the shadows to the core of the fight, and use whatever explosive you have there. Stealth is the key here." Hanging up his phone, he scanned the area for any possible suspicious personell. None at the moment, but didn't hurt to be wary.

"Yes sir, Mr. KT." He jiggled the grenade and ran behind a dumpster, where there were mafians shooting up everything. Nickolas took a deep breath and chucked the grenade into the middle, then fired a silenced bullet into the grenade, creating a great explosion. Then he donned the rifle and fired from hiding, moving every now and then so they wouldn't know where he was.

He liked what he could see. Russian and Italian alike caused such a ruckus, the cops showed and got into the fight.
"Partin. Get out of there. The cops have showed up and I doubt you want to get in jail before seeing what a legit life is like." Hanging up his phone, he merely went back to his room, awaiting his new hitman to come visit.

Nickolas could barely hear over the gunfire, but he shouted, "YES SIR!" He ran around the dumpster into an alley where he jumped on a fire escape, narrowly dodging a bullet. He climbed and reached the roof, then hopped across the buildings with grace until he thought he reached KT's building. "Mr. KT? I'm on your roof. Should I come in, or go through the front door?" He asked, calling on his cell phone.

"On my roof? You're quick. Take the front door and tell'em I sent you. My guards are rather secure about things considering I've a front bigger than Canada." He then moved to his office after coming to the first floor. It was filled with books on business, law and tactics. Aside from them were all sorts of die cast cars, all of them Japanese models. Grabbing a suitcase he prepared, he called a friend.
"Huh. You've gotten me a rather competent killer. Already I've gotten to test him."
"Brother, you're just too smart." "We're not related, smartass." "Whatever. Gonna send the money tomorrow?" "Yeah. Thanks for the help, man." "Meh. No problem." The conversation ended as he made sure to count every bit of money he had prepared.

I just came from Japan, so I really don't know much here." Shrugging off his own stupidity, he motioned for the guards to leave them in privacy.
"I'll speed up your journey to a legit life, Partin. Just avoid the gunfire coming from all sides, and try not to blow your cover. The Italians are paranoid and the Russians are pissy AND paranoid, so you may want to consider using something more destructive, my friend. I'll have a mission for you once the chaos is down a bit."

Nickolas' mind was still reeling from the money. "A club? I don't understand, sir." The terms "Mr." and "sir" were practically embedded into him. He always used terms of respect, because loyalty was his best an preferred quality.

"The club's legit. It'll allow you to travel incognito as a club owner, not a gangster. People'll try to harass you, but I've assigned a few guard teams here and there before I took my flight to come to this city. Consider it a way of preparing. I had the family secure everything, and they did so. Now. Nickolas, you are to own this place. There's a manager already hired, so the paychecks for the employees have already been set. All you need to do is oversee it, and do some paperwork here and there. I'll be calling you on occasional requests, so be ready. The legit life won't come until peace is set." KT just handed him a folder to put in the suit case.
"Keep this. You will need it in case of harassment by authorities."

A legal life through crime, eh? It was crazy, but there was nothing to be done now. And besides, Miguel seemed fine with it as long as loan sharks were out of the picture.

Esteban stepped out of the Spanish yacht with a scowl on his face and a suit on his body. The musky air of the Liberty City dock was oppressive and unpleasant and made him feel like forgetting the traitor and going back home. But that bastard's crime was to be punished, even if he had to follow him forever.

Esteban was the head of not only the La Mancha crime family, but of the Madrid, Zaragoza and Galicia families as well. Naturally, there were double crosses by lower goons, but if they came out of the country, an employee would deal with it, unlike now. It was personal. Esteban arranged a meeting with the Liberty City Yakuza. The Spanish crime families he owned were very tight with them, and the Yakuza were their only allies who were strong enough to hold their own whilst watching the street activity as well. A private call was made to KT by Esteban's assistant and he picked up the phone. "Hello, is this the head of the Yakuza gang? My name is Esteban Gonzalez, and I'm looking for someone particular here in Liberty City," he started.
