Hey guys. I am still trying to figure out what's completely going on (I keep losing the place the songs are, and I don't know how far the script is). I apologize for that. I also want to apologize if I seem distant from this work, as I have a load of work to do, and not enough time to do it in.

I will promise, however, to contribute as much as possible, though.

The songs are (mostly) all listed under our http://www.popdrivel.com/ website under the 'progress' tab. It says on each song where its placed in the musical, too.

Though that progress tab is a little behind. ^_^;; ShiiiiiiiIIIIiiiink.

I got a PM about the Script Writing, and I need to tell you why there hasn't been any progress. I now have lots of new writers to write this, but I need to organise them. To organise them, I need to discuss it with Ethed, and I haven't seen her around on AIM. So right now, I'm really stuck because I don't really know what she needs. :(

However, now my exams are finished I can definitely sort out the trial section I wrote, and to begin to organise the rest of the writers. But please cut me some slack, I'm only one person...

o_o; Hi! Um... Diana told me to post here and sell myself/my soul to this project. :D So I'm totally up for that. Uh... I've sent in an application for art stuff, but I can probably sneak over to Diana's house and record, if needed. (Voice type=Girls of most ages, especially young girls, maybe young boys?) Hm... I'm... Not really sure what else I can help with... If you need something, just ask, I'm up for trying pretty much anything. (The internet is a never-ending source of learning materials~) So...

Um. ... Yeah. :D Hi.

Thanks so much for the update, Gerkuman! We're not trying to rush you, we're just really left in the dark about a lot of this stuff and it helps to have updates now and then. I haven't seen Ethed around much, either...

If you need any help organizing people (or with anything script-related), just drop me a PM! It might help you feel less overwhelmed if you have someone with copious amounts of free time helping you out. ^^

Also, yes! That person there is Eira. She is mah friend. :D And she shall sell her soul to this project and add her awesome talents to it!

(Also, Iunno if she posted about this, but Deja's counseling at a sleep away camp and that's why she's not around right now!)

Do you mean the Justice for All Reprise? I did a version of that a while back, when TriforceBun first rolled it out. Although come to think of it, I didn't manage to hit the low note on that one. Perhaps it's time to try again.

Sure! Should I direct link, or just do a shameless plug of my Deviantart? XD;; (eira-nai.deviantart.com)

I can try to get over to Diana's tomorrow (haha... I guess it's actually today at this hour...) or the next day, and see what she thinks I should record. o.o; *prods her* (My mic has a horrible habit of clicking like CRAZY when I try to record here. o_O)

Well, no, though that's also an awesome finale kind of song...let me go back and find that one I'm thinking of. Maybe you weren't actually the one to write it, and I'm just going crazy >> But it had all these reprises, like Make It Right and JfA and DotP, and the Objection Song was the very last one. EDIT: Dawn of a New Trial, that was it!

Also, welcome aboard, Eira! We need more artists, I think.

Ohhhhhhh yeah. I put that on hiatus for a while but it may be time to return to it. Too bad I've turned out to be every bit as incompetent as I expected at writing an accompaniment.

Clarounette- AWESOME Decree in French!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're a native speaker, right? I've been taking french for five years and recently took the AP. Plus I'm taking it (and an AP in French History) next year. Basically, super-coolness!!!! I love the incongruity of it ending with Phoenix Wright among all the french, haha.

Anyway, I've got one surprise ready to go but I'm having file-conversion issues. The other I got a lot of headway on, but it's still coming along. I couldn't get any farther without internet access! But hey, now I've got that! Expect awesome soon. :3

I'm making slow progress on "What Have I Done", also. I see the line you were talking about, Arri. I wonder why I somehow skipped that... :-\ I hope I didn't mess it up too much! I think the word 'mend' kind of rhymes with 'win,' though... maybe it won't be too bad? ^_^;;

Yeah I really hope this works out, I've been working on it forever but I ran out of steam. However on vacay I got a second wind and am a little over 2/3 of the way through just from the efforts of the past week or so. Yeah, it's long for one song. Especially considering my last song (Grossberg's :grossburg: ) took me about 50 minutes to write, haha, it seems long. But I'm happy. And hopefully it'll be up soon!

We don't need scriptwriters. We'll just have Actorman improv the whole show. Amazing. :phoenix:

Yeah, I'm French! Thanks, Pooleterson.
The ending was difficult, because nothing rhymes with Wright in French!
In France, they kept Phoenix Wright as the name of Phoenix, while Miles Edgeworth became Benjamin Hunter... :eh?:

I feel happy to have anybody take their hand at the songs. ^_^ Just remember that at this point, we're going to have to cut a certain number of songs (sorry to have to bring it up...) so many of the songs are not guaranteed spots in the musical.

But the more songs that are written, the more we can choose from, and the better it will be in the end! So I say, bring it on! :godot:

I was looking through comments on the songs that the dubber3000 has been putting up on youtube. People have a lot of nice things to say! :acro: I's happy.

Quite a few people seem to comment that they really like the way Shink's voice sounds as Phoenix. :eh?: But I like my brother so much as Gumshoe.

Soon maybe a French version of Decree of the Prosecutor, if one of the male singers wants to record it. I can help with the pronounciation.
And ask me for any other translation you want. It would be awesome to have a French version of the musical, right? ;)

I don't know if TriforceBun has all his stuff on Putfile, since he also uses last.fm. I'd recommend checking both if you're looking for a specific accompaniment.

But anyway, downloading stuff from Putfile:
arimnaes wrote:
When you're on the Putfile page of the song you want to download, you can right-click on the page background and choose "View Source." You'll get the page's source code in a little display, and then if you search the code for the phrase ".mp3" (or in a few cases ".wav") you can find the direct link to the file on Putfile's server. Then finally, copy that link into the address bar, and once the file page loads, go to File -> Save Page As, and you can download the song.

It's not especially intuitive, but it's the only way I've found that seems to work regardless of computer or browser, for the most part.

Ooh, JFA in French sounds nice. And the Spanish one is still cool.

To madame von Karma, you can find some of the accompaniments for my songs here:

http://www.last.fm/music/TriforceBun/PW ... iment+Only

Unfortunately, Last.FM screwed some things up recently and some of the links only give me static noise, even when I upload them again! How irritating.

I post again the lyrics in French, so you don't have to search for them.

Spoiler: Décret d'un procureur, with minor changes
