On the hugging question, I have this to say: it is slightly awkward having breasts in the way, but not because of simple inconvenience--rather for fear of getting too much of a rush out of the contact and/or causing the female to suspect harassment and call for punitive measures against us. For these reasons, I lean forward and hug lightly, and that only when the female makes it clear that she expects a hug.

My friend is loathing girls at the moment even more than he does usually, because his prom date is annoying him by getting overly excited about having a 'magical night' or something. I think pretty much every girl who's going is behaving similarly towards their dates. Makes me glad I don't have anyone.
According to my mother, people used to have to have a date at prom. I'd hate that >.<
