But I would like to thank everyone for hyping Donnie Darko in a sense of indignant outrage when someone dares call it overhyped, thus proving my point.
I too hate CSI: Miami. I liked Horatio better when he was on the first seasons of NYPD Blue. I liked the original CSI at first, but have grown tired of it.

I wasn't outraged at all. I was just commenting on your afterthoughts regarding the movie. I'm no obsessive fan of it, but I still don't see it as overhyped or overrated at all. It may have some retards for fans who think they're the smartest dick on the block because they watch it, but tons of movies and shows have those types of character.
Unless I'm missing something and 90% of the fanbase are what I just described.

Wrong. Off the top of my head, I can think of about a dozen people who've done that exact same thing. First one that pops to mind is Arnold Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back." Whether you like him or not, that phrase DID become epic for almost an entire decade. Not to mention Jeff Goldblum's "Faster. Must go faster."

Oh man, you mean...recent anime sucks because it's diversified? The horror.
I dunno Joe Yabuki, but if its macho you're after, you could try Gantz. Guys with guns and girls with big tits is always a winning combination.
But I'm not a fan of that very old school style shonen. I'm more of a Trigun, Hellsing fan. Darker than Black just came out, and that's pretty sweet.
But then, this is for overrated characters, not entire shows...
Someone said L up above and I'm gonna add Light. I don't care how tiny his TV in the potato chip bag is, he's still lame and a horrible character. Seishirou had more personality than him (and omg there's another good one!).
