I am a bit perplexed myself, but for a different reason. Being a man myself, I will be the first to admit I'm attracted to women. It's true, that is just a part of me. Still, I recognize that simply because I'm attracted to a woman does not mean she either wants or is ok with me leering at her. The reasoning behind this is that by doing so, all I recognize in this woman is her physical attractiveness. Fortunately, that is not all that women are. I do my best not to stare because no matter how attractive the woman may be, that says nothing of who she is as a person.
Attraction is pretty much automatic. I can be attracted to women without even thinking about it. One second I'm walking along, the next I'm thinking "Wow, she's cute". However, I recognize that she is also a person. She has her own fears, concerns, desires, goals, and ambitions. It's difficult for me to treat such a person as a mere body to "excite" me when it is very likely that she has thought patterns and dreams that I can't even fathom. This wouldn't be so much of a problem except that guys (in general) tend to ignore that. The idea that the chick walking down the street might want to save a people's lives or paint the greatest scenery the world has ever known doesn't even enter his mind.
Therefore, it's not only polite not to stare, but I think it means you are willing to treat a woman as a person first, beautiful second. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think respect goes a longer way to dealing with people than *STARE* "WHOA!".

Like I said, I didn't initially notice that my jacket covered them up. Besides, it has Jack Skellington on the front: it's awesome :D I don't have very large self confidence issues. I have friends that continuously try to diet and lose weight, but they always give up. I'd rather enjoy myself and not have to worry about being disappointed with the results of trying to lose weight until I'm free to commit myself to it.
On a side note, my oh-so-gay friend teases me about my breasts quite a bit XD He borrowed my shirt once and kept talking about how it was far too loose in the chest, etc.

About physical preferences...
Collectively, you will probably never get a definitive answer as to whether size or shape is more important. Personally, I'm more concerned with how well they go with the rest of the body than their size, though I do find that I have yet to meet a size C that I didn't like.
Speaking for myself, I look first and foremost at personality and how interested in me she seems to be. A "good body" I tend to think of as a bonus, not the goal. Physical preferences are a secondary influence at most. If I like her personality, chances are I'll find something to like about her physically even if nothing stood out before. Similarly, a woman with a great body and an abominable personality will strike me as ugly in some way eventually if not right away.

I tried psuedo-asking her out (asking her to hang out instead of go out), and said she might not be open this week. No response regarding that afterwards.
