Seriously, this anime is great. And in light of the new Slayers season I went and marathoned some of the first series.(Torrent needs more seeders so I download it in pieces)

lol Slayers. I used to be obsessed with that in 5th-6th grade. To the point it scared everyone I knew, ~~even one of my cousins that were SUPER anime-obsessed at the time :C :C~~

I don't think I'll have the attention span to ever see the new series though *FAIL*

Can't blame me for not going crazy with Slayers. The only regular broadcasting I could watch of it was in Spanish (horrible). I could see some of its polish beneath that, but I couldn't get past the awful and soulless dubbing. The movies they kept showing on the Anime Network were cool, though. Perhaps I should track it down. It looked nice enough,and with a proper version to watch/listen, I may be able to enjoy it.

Ok, so I've watched 2 episodes of Slayers in English.

It's not the best dub (Brock's voice actor as Goury isn't convincing enough), but 10,000 times better than in spanish, so I may stick to it. Funny stuff thus far. I may have found my next Anime to follow.

First Slayers was in my opnion the best Dub....The others were....Okay but I agree about Try being bad.... :payne:

I finally found a copy of Slayers Next on DVD when I was at Anime Expo. I rewatched the whole thing in two days. I had forgotten so much over the years. Now I can finally rewatch Slayers Try. I've had it for awhile, but did not want to start again until I obtained a copy of Slayers Next.

I watched Slayers Next all dubbed this time. Kind of weird hearing all the voices, since I'm also watching the Pokemon series on tv right now too. I'm starting on Try next, and I'll be watching it dubbed, since I've only seen it in Japanese before.

I could only do Slayers dubbed for the first season. Lisa Ortiz and Eric Stuart are great, of course, but David Moo = :scratch:
