I loved the new episode. I'm staying up until 11 so I can watch it again. (I have to stay up for Mafia anyway, so...) I laughed so hard at the tent scene.

I've been in a rather strange mood for the last few days. I swear, I'm rarely this annoying about pairings.I loved the new episode. Toph's reaction to finding out that the part of her was being played by a large, muscular man was hilarious. (I can't wait to cosplay her next year at PortCon. It's going to be awesome.) And they kept poking fun at the fandom, which I loved.

-The Great Divide episode considered the most unimportant episode in the fanbase
-Aang is portrayed by a real boy compared to other common occasions in which the prepubescent boy character is played by a woman in live-action and voice acting (the old Peter Pan's live musical adaptation is known for this in which Peter is played by a clearly older woman)
-Cosplay malfunction ("You're scar's on the wrong side!")
-Toph was planned to be an over-muscular boy
-Ozai's Angels: the pose the three girls made after VICTOLLLY!!11
-Jet's questionable death; a shot down at the JetxZuko slash pairing with Zuko's bland reaction on whether or not he died
-the play skipped over scenes concerning the filler episodes
And overall the propaganda getting shoved with the WTFDOWNERTWIST ending and the depictions of characters like Azula as heroic and characters as Sokka just being silly.

Ugh. I swear, EVERY THREAD over there is Avatar. I'm a fan, but it's really annoying.
EDIT: Right now, we should not be bashing other shippings or the people who ship them. We should be taking this time to celebrate the fact that such a wonderful series came to a fitting end. (As compared to several other Nick shows, that started out pretty good, then went downhill until the writers were finally forced to write up some half-assed finale. Not that I'm thinking of a certain series that I used to watch or anything. *coughDannyPhantomcough*)
REMEMBER: Shippers and fangirls do not ruin fandoms. Closed-minded people ruin fandoms. (Though unfortunately, this does include quite a few shippers.
