Mysterio heard Kitty yet again. "These nutjobs aren't doing anything? Oh boy." He walked into the room with a definite strut. "You all going to do something about this?" He changed into G, and back into himself. "Or will I have to do this myself," he saw Sara nearby, "and protect this pretty lady?" "I can take care of myself, thanks." Sara didn't like this new guy, or trust him. He was too... shifty. ((*shot*))

"I'll kill this girl for you then, to bring you out of the land of Twinkle - You should be able to deal with it yourselves - on one condition. Never, ever, try to contact me again. I don't need your primitive tools... I have the necessary." she took out a pill. "I nicked this from the guard at that stupid prison... But Nalla doesn't know that." she grinned wickedly, and popped the pill into her mouth. Huge, glorious wings erupted from her back - but not golden and white, like Aero's, but pure black. Evidently her and Finn's powers had been swapped in the alternate reality. "This pill," she said, "Is to make me grow. Nalla gave me this one." she stepped outside and swallowed it. Instantly she began to grow, towering above the city. She leapt onto Kitty and tugged at her hair, trying to force her to shrink through pain.

"Well, that was a horribly convuluted way of defeating a villain," said Flex, ever the observer. "Couldn't you have shrunk the amazingly large, bosomed lady with one of your marvelous shrink guns?" he grinned, and a flash indicated his gold tooth, tucked in at the back of his mouth.

"Wow. That is one messed up lady." Mysterio said, looking up at the ensuing battle. "I was kinda wondering that myself. Isn't COCOA some hi-tech facility?" For being this special, you'd think they would have thought of that. Not the brightest bulb in the pack, are we?

As he said it, the executed men rose shakily, bleeding profusely from the bullet wounds in their foreheads, and even Chase couldn't gleam satisfaction from their horrified eyes as their life's tissue oozed down their faces. "H-Help me... P-Please..." He moaned in pure agony. Chase winced. In Hell, he was burdened with a soul, some kind of guttural sympathy for these ever-suffering men. "Is there any way to end this for them?" He asked the Darkness. "Hidden in the bowels of this evil pit of forsaken mortal demons is something more powerful than you've ever imagined, even more than me. That can save these heartless men, and that is also your ticket to Earth and your revenge."

"Glad to see that I can afford to reveal myself now." His suit then dissipated, revealing a rather handsome individual. Sunglasses were worn as a pair of black slacks and dark purple shirt were worn. His raven black hair was arranged in a rather odd fashion, bangs separated at the front, the rest back in a seemingly flowing way. Shoes were combat boots as hands were clothed in fingerless gloves.
"I am Keisuke Takazato, owner of the Takazato Arms Co. We made this building." He said to his new companion.

And while Chase ran on through the darkness of Hell's worst torture, he found himself reminded of those damned heroes who sent him to this godforsaken place. He needed some way of getting to them from here, some kind of connection, to hold them until he could get out. And even though he didn't know how he could do it, The Darkness knew that someone wanted it and all of Hell gone. Someone like God.

It said Flex on it, but if you squinted a bit it said his name - his real name. Below 'Flex' it said: For while the world knows my name, they know not my identity... It was handwritten, and each letter was drawn carefully, in beautiful flowing style.
((Right, no-ones to guess his name - I know what you're like! - and can I mention that Flex has the most delicious English accent? ^^))

It was wonderful, to have someone to trust after all the time alone, to have someone who cared that much. "Thank you," Brenda whispered. "C'mon," she said, wiping her eyes. "it sounds like we missed the excitement." She walked back to the others and found Flex's card. 'they know not my identity.' Ain't that the truth. "Hello, who are you two?" she addressed Mysterio and Keisuke.
"Mysterio, at your service, mi-" He stopped mid-sentence after turning around and seeing the girl. "Bren?" He took off his mask and walked over to her. "I don't believe-"
"you have the guts to even talk to me!" She recognized the man behind the mask, like she ever needed to see that face again.
"I thought you were dead!"
"Well, we're BOTH full of surprises."
"Whoa there. Brenda, you know this Mysterio?" Sara said.
"I don't know any Mysterio, but I know this cheating, lying man!"
"W-what do you-"
"Oh don't even try, Derek. You know exactly what I mean, or should we ask Tiffany?"
"When did-"
"When you stopped calling, asking me out, and when I saw you two together! Not that hard!"
"Well, I broke up with her, so..."
"Don't come crawling back, you dog. I've moved on, got someone who really cares about me." She glanced over at Finn. "So for all I care, you could walk out of here right now and I wouldn't mind."

" 'Hell hath no wrath like a woman scorned.' " Brenda prepared a fireball. "Care to try that out?"
"Fine, fine, I'm goin'. Geez." Mysterio walked out of the building and out of sight.
"Brenda?" Sara asked with caution. "You okay?"
"Yeah. I-I just, well, he's not the guy you trust with anything." She let the flame die in her hand. "So," she said, quickly trying to change the subject, "did, uh, you take care of Kitty?"

Meanwhile, Flex had other matters to attend to. Scurrying down a dark alley, he slipped off his cape and put another mask on, that obscured his face. After a minute or so, a dark figure appeared, clutching a large package. "S-" he began, for it was a man, but was silenced by Flex's hand over his mouth. "Hush!" he said, glancing round his shoulder. "Do not speak my name! Now, do you have it?"
"Yeah," the man replied, and handed over a large package. Flex took it, and hurried away from the alley. He could not believe his luck - the object of his desire, the item he craved so- it was finally his, at long last in his possesion. His mind whirling with the possibilities of his package, Flex did notice the other mysterious man stalking past until he almost walked into him; Flex recognized him as Mysterio. "Sorry," he said. He held out a hand, hiding the package behind his back. "I don't think I got to introduce myself earlier on? I'm Flex."

Michael left the church bored. I know God created us all, but does praising him have to be so BORING?! he thought in exaustion, when suddenly he heard, If it bores you, why praise me at all?
Michael stopped. Who said that?! he thought in urgency. THe man upstairs. The big guy. The Alpha, the Omega, Almighty, whatever your preference, God responded. W-WHAT!? God?! Y-You're talking to me?! Why? He asked. Well, I have a little job for you, Michael. It'll take a little explanation, and a little help from above, AKA me, but you should be fine. I SHOULD be?! What happened to divine protection?! Michael mentally yelled back quickly. He heard a laugh. Oh, I'll protect you, but listen to me.
In the beginning, there was me. Me and one other entity, contrary to what they teach you in Religion class. Actually, there's alot of things wrong with your understanding of how it all happened, but I digress. Think of us two as Good and Evil. Me the Good, and the other the Evil. This other being was The Darkness, pure evil. God explained. But I thought Satan was the most evil, Michael interjected. No no no. Lucifer was an ANGEL once, remember? I cast him out and the Darkness took him under its wing and taught him how to be evil. The Devil is just his yes-man. Michael looked astonished. But why are you telling me this?! Michael asked. Good question. Remember that 'job' I was talking about? Well, your job is to extirminate it. Its currently in Hell with its host, but even Satan can't hold him for long. The uncrossable abyss was from Hell to Heaven, but Hell to Earth is possible, albeit requiring immortal strength.
But how the hell- sorry, heck- am I going to kill an ancient evil as powerful as you?! Michael asked incredulously. With a little help, of course. I'm making you an Arch Angel as of right now, my son. Go forth, and defeat the Darkness. Man, it's been a while since I've knighted an angel like that, God said. And then, Michael felt a strange power flowing through him, and knew this immense holiness was what could conquer the evil he needed to defeat. Where do I start, Lord? Saint Michael asked his new commander. COCOA HQ. Meet up with them, and just remember one very important thing: don't turn on me. I've shown you an example of those who take on the throne, and you will be no exception, God warned sternly, and Michael was off to find the HQ.

"COCOA don't stand a chance." Blaze snickered through his face-covering mask. He pulled out a different cape, and put it on. It was black, like the mask and his fingerless gloves, and was jagged, the sharp points stopping at his knees. Blaze jumped from roof to roof, prefering this to flying, as he didn't enjoy flying much. He stopped at the entrance to COCOA. His lips curled into a grin. A glint of gold was just visible-
"Weak members of COCOA, come out from your hidey hole. You are no longer safe. You are no longer safe." Blaze had taken a megaphone out and now he threw it away, and pulled something else out from a sheath at his side. A glorious silver sword gleamed in the moonlight, and mysterious runes etched out a single word...

She melted the asphalt around Kitty's feet, so she wouldn't be going anywhere, and turned around to the newcomer. "Hey, hotshot!" she yelled. "Feeling safe enough to play with fire?"

He kicked her to the ground and kept his foot on her chest, pointing the sword at her. Rain lashed down, but the sword was ablaze, setting a bright light upon the city. "Who'll save you now... Brenda?" he grinned.

"What the hell-? Brenda!" Finn skidded out the door, leaving it wide open. He ran at Blaze, knocking him over-
But Blaze was still standing there. He grinned. "Quickness of the hand deceives the eye... Or so I'm told." Leaving Brenda, he turned his full attention on Finn. Slashing and cutting, and the flames crept ever closer to Finn, as he dodged and weaved. "Enough!" yelled The Brazen Blaze, and he struck his foe to the ground. Finn lay on the road aside Brenda, the rain pounding and the wind howling, and Blaze's cape fluttered as he entered COCOA. Hostilities were open now...
It was so easy
Only an insider could possibly know where to go.
Perhaps someone who had staked out the place the day before...

Brenda laid on the soaked pavement in shock. How-how did he know my name? She sat up, half dazed, and brushed her hand against the person beside her. "Finn! Are you alright? Wait..." She silently crept over to Blaze and kicked him in the back. "Mess with him one more time, and I swear you won't do it again." she growled at him.
Sara saw the fight from the window inside. "Oh boy." She went outside and saw Brenda kick Blaze in the back. "Look out!" She shoved Brenda off of Blaze and sent 10,000 volts coursing through him.
"What are you doing?" Brenda yelled.
"You don't have to do this by yourself. Let someone else take the blows."
"Listen, I've had to fend for myself for three years-"
"and now you don't." Sara set a hand on Brenda's shoulder. "You have people who care about you now. And we don't want you getting too beat up."
