Mmkay. So i've always been wondering this.
Is Trilo Ben's "inner feelings?" (Like an Inner Sakura type thing, y'know) or is Trilo a separate "person" altogether? Because Ben showed no interest in Regina, but Trilo was in love with her. So if Trilo is Ben's inner feelings tat means Ben really loves Regina?
Or if Trilo is a completely different "person" then why does he even need Ben?
Personally I think Trilo is Ben's "Inner Sakura" but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't doubt it if Trillo was Ben's inner feelings, as nasty as the little bugger may be. Though I personally think that Ben is just putting on one heck of a show. We know that Moe can actually be serious at times, but that didn't stop him from acting like a complete dofus in court.

Gotta agree with you guys. I always thought that Ben was just too shy, so he used a puppet to convey his feelings. But if stuff like spirit mediums and psyche-locks can exist, Trilo COULD be his own entity too.
I don't see why not. The circus characters are kinda messed up in their own, fun way. That's why I like case 2-3 so much. <3
Or it really could be a stage persona. Eh. Either works for me.

Sakura doesn't have a split personality, though :/ She just acts polite because 1. Politeness is good 2. she wants people to get the idea of politeness from her. It's just the way she acts. Inner Sakura is just her emotional reactions to things--everybody has insant emotional reactions to things that they don't act on Basically, "Inner Sakura" is the same as all real people--we think one thing and we say another.
As for Trilo being a separate entity, that's not possible. Yes, I know this is a game with spirit mediums, but he only started talking when Ben was holding him. I still stand by Trilo being Ben's stage persona, but also something like the Inner Sakura--Trilo says all of Ben's instinctive thoughts, the things that we think about people but usually don't say for the sake of politeness.

Anyway, I think that Trilo is a way for Ben to express himself. I don't think that Ben is that rude (Trilo), or that shy (Ben.) Trilo is a way to gather attention, to make people notice him.

If that were true, why was Inner Sakura able to give Ino a headache inside Sakura's body?
To be honest, I believe that it's the same as Scarface in the latest Batman series. Only not as severe as Trilo isn't a gangster-style criminal, but they are similar in that Trilo picks on Ben.

Though it doesn't really benefit Ben in anyway. After all, after Trillo saying to Max that he was going to marry Regina, Max hit Ben. So, Ben might as well ditch the puppet and come out with it himself.
But Ben does show little interest in what Trillo's doing.
Perhaps it's just good acting? XD

Although, it's not entirely foolish to suggest that it's only an act. It could actually not be an act, but Ben's way of expressing himself. When he speaks through the puppet, he could be more confident. That's how I am with the internet, after all...

I agree with the Inner Sakura theory the most. The objective of a ventriloquist is to make the audience believe that the puppet is something more then a puppet. Therefore, where Ben is shy and stuttering all the time, Trilo is active and loud. What Trilo says is just what Ben really thinks, but said through a puppet.

Thinking back on it though...hmm. It seems odd to me for them to keep up the act outside the stage, and for Ben to punch himself in the face with his own puppet and of course for the act to hinder Ben's own social skills far beyond a normal shy person.
So in my humble opinion, Trilo is basically a way for Ben to let his more loud-mouted and more angry side out there. Huh, I had something to add there but it's totally left my head. If I remember I'll edit this post.

as for ben getting hit by the said puppet. i dont think its a matter of he wants to hit himself or not but the puppet is a husk to house his other persona so.....you have one persona taking it out on another

And just look at everyone else...Regina and Moe both seem to have bought it, they speak only of Trilo, they hardly even recognize Ben when you present his profile to them. Without Trilo, he feels like he is gone, and thats why he never talks when he is alone.

Dude, that bugged me so much during the trial I seriously got pissed off at the game because when he first blew up I was like FINALLY and then...hes back and Im like OH NOES and this happens OVER and OVER again AND THEN...Moe takes the stand and I really consider sending capcom hate mail for the third case unti I meets acro and everythings better and then I met Matt Engarde and everythings WIN
