I tried once. Needless to say that it ended in a complete disaster. I pretty much gave up on doing Triti the long way after that. I found that as long as I was quick, I could make it past all the Triti missions while still covered by the Healing Touch although I think your ranking suffers a bit if you do it that way (I'm not sure on that part though). ... Not that I really cared though. I just wanted those missions behind me.

Yeah. did anyone have those operations in NB/UTK/UTK2 that made them go "I wish i'd never do that again"?
To me it was lost in the flame. it made my heart beat SO HARD.

Actually, when you think about it, isn't Triti the only non-boss Guilt/Stigma where the healing touch was practically needed? Otherwise, I found the healing touch to be quite idle in my list of tools.

Thing with Triti is that the pattern SEEMS to make sense but when you actually do it...it never matches up with what it's supposed to do! I haven't even been able to pass a Triti mission with a guide!

Spoiler: UtK2
I'm just so glad Triti isn't in UtK2, though the names of the new GUILTs don't sound as cool as the old ones (Bythos, Nous, Alethia, and Sige). I kinda wish they brought Deftera back instead of Tetarti though...

A mission that I never want to do again? Fallen Heroes (6-7) in SO. That mission made me so angry.

Ooo, can someone upload the UtK2 music? Or was the URL for it posted somewhere in this thread? It'd be greatly appreciated!!!

Ok I can't help this... *looks around to make sure there's no pointy objects around* I can beat Pandora's Box *cough* 1st Triti mission *cough* without the healing touch on easy and norma--*shot repeatedly* I still don't compleeeeetely get the pattern, but I got the gist of it, and I just take out every thorn and it doesn't go RAWR on me (I swear it sounds like a dying dinosaur every time it multiplies... I've grown to hate and fear that sound *shiver*)

Fallen Heroes is... oh god, I STILL can't pass it on hard, no matter how hard I try. I can sometimes get past Triti, then Kyriaki is just blah, but then the Deftera... Derek gets all the hard missions D: then if I survive, the Paraskevi trips me up cuz I get lazy and they're all like, "ohemgee the heart looks cozy LET'S PARTY IN IT! *dive*" so I die *cries*... no wait, my patient dies O.o ... though it kinda feels like I'm dying cuz I just don't know when to shut up

Spoiler: UtK 2
I kinda thought Alethia was a cool name, but I kept thinking it was a person. Angie would be like, "ACK IT'S ALETHIA!!!" and I'm like "ZOMG WHERE?! *looks around*" and we all know that the villians this time around aren't as epic as Adam imo

Yesh I type alot, but UtK 2 has left me with a Trauma Center high, so until I get some Perfect Prosecutor I'm gonna gush over this :3

I can't beat the first X mission too, if you have more than 5 cuts the vitals just drop too fast. :<

*keeps dropping in* Usually I can't even reach the Queen Kyriaki because I focus too much on trying to heal the cuts because the vitals drop freakin fast! I'm spending all my time stiching, and in that time they make twice as much damage D: not to mention that I usually think "Ok, I can get rid of one, then only one will be left and it'll be easier to heal the wounds" BUT once I kill the first one, 2 more come out and they give me no time to heal... I need a new strategy -_-

AAAAAAARG SAVATOOOO after the 20th try or something I finally managed to get to the part when Derek used the healing touch! Then my DS decided to hang and the healing touch animation reappeared and the game hung. HAHAHAHAHA *dies*

It's pretty funny though, since some parts of the game still works. The Savato continued to walk around and causing cuts and again and again. but the vitals got stuck XDDDDD soon the patient's heart was full of cuts. LOL

Hey, I've got a question regarding the Savato Missions.

Has anyone tried doing your healing touch right before the auto-healing touch? Does that even work?

Actually I did that on UtK2 and I had to restart the whole final boss battle D: cuz I'm stupid. In fact, in SO the first time I was up against Savato, I was COMPLETELY stuck on what to do. I've tried using my healing touch before the actual one, but never on purpose, so I dunno if it would work RIGHT before the mandatory HT. BUT my major problem was after the first HT occured. I had NO IDEA that I was supposed to use the healing touch again, so I just kept stitching my patient until I gave up, paused the operation, and checked online for the solution. -_-

You get a bonus for not using Healing Touch.

Triti is a bitch and a half, but it can be done without healing touch. Yank out all the thorns as fast as you can and go nuts picking up the triangles.

Waaaaaa I'm having the hardest time just trying to beat the final boss on normal *headslam*
Man I SUCK at the DS. I can beat the game easily on... well, easy, but on normal I completely fail at certain operations. I get really nervous on the final boss with all that epic music and...
Spoiler: UtK 2 final boss
The huge eyeball scares the krabby patties outta me. *shiver* and the whole "inject the funny dark liquid into his eyeball" creeps me out because I practically jump in surprise every time I accidentally hit the eyelid *twitch twitch* andandand is it just me or does the final boss on normal have more creatures come out? I kinda gave up on beating this level for now but I remember that on normal, Pempti popped out and I never saw it pop out on easy mode. Then again, Angie was all, "DOCTOR U GOTTA DO IT FAAAAAASTA, LIKE NAO-- OOPS 2 LATE NOW U GOTTA D-FEET DIS MUTATED THINGY AGAIN". I... I started yelling at Angie... and that was when there was only one of the mutated pempti thingies left and.... yea I killed my patient <_<
Needless to say, my family gave me some wierd stares afterwards...

Also, I have the urge to film myself doing an operation so I can see what I can improve on and maybe post it on Youtube if I think it's good enough, but 1. I have a funny skin problem on my hands, so they look really wierd... and I lost one of my favorite gloves so I don't wanna film till I find it, and 2. How the heck do I hold the camera? Operating with only one hand feels really awkward for me (I usually have my other hand hold the DS in place cuz I tend to slide it all over the place depending on what surgery I'm on)

what did I improve on this summer? Well, I worked on my lawyer and surgeon skills, and I got lots of typing practice by typing loads of junk on forums =D

My opinion on final boss:

Spoiler: final boss, obviously
I think on normal mode, you have to inject more of that black stuff into the eye before it starts sucking energy. I did the mission on easy, and I only had to defeat one GUILT for every "round". For normal however I had to defeat at least two because one round of injection apparently isn't enough. I was lucky enough not to get Kyriaki after the first round 'cause those little things are a pain in the arse! I think Kyriaki was the only one where I had major problems though. When you get the hang of it the final boss should be pretty fun to defeat =D

Alethia was crazy.

Spoiler:
I kept hitting that damn red vein and had to restart the operation like 1561561 times... but at least I could beat it on Easy. It wasn't much different from some of the other guilt operations, as the I suck at videogames. In the first UTK, I had to use my action replay with infinite health and infinite time just so I could beat Dr. Myer's operation and Savato. Their GUILT KILLED MEH. The difficulty is insane. I also fucking hate Triti, and I liked the simplified, mutated version in UTK2 a whole lot better. One spike and some synthetic membrane is good for me :)

Oh, and FUCK DEFTERA. My VITALS KEEP KILLING ME.

I stopped playing Trauma Center: Second Opinion for a while because I was obsessing over UtK2 and I went back to play this morning and I suck again ;_;

I played the Mutant Savato operation on Hard and I got a B or something D: I used to get XS all the time *cries*
... I blamed it on Angie though XD I enjoy shouting at her..................... *hopes I'm not the only one who thinks this*

Spoiler: Second Opinion chapter 6
And I tried Derek's operation on hard and I got a C!! I panicked so much when the Paraskevi almost got into his heart... I would've cried if it did... :larry:

I just replayed through all of New Blood on hard... got mostly Cs, I think I only failed on two missions, the dog one and "The Heat Of Battle" (where you treat five patients in a row.) Still my favorite of the series, despite the hate it gets.

I also finally beat Challenge 4. It's about goddamn time. :sadshoe:

I'm up to X-5 on UtK2. Damn you Bythos, I had you down to one HP and you had to go and do warp/teleport didn't you. D:

I'd actually really like that mission if it weren't for the burn guy at the start. I like doing all the other surgeries in that mission, but the burn one is so boring that it ruins it.

Spoiler: Minor New Blood spoiler
I couldn't beat the one where you have to put those skin grafts on that huge-ass burn in New Blood.

Atlus must have really tried to make the Trauma Center games as big of a pain in the ass as they could. But then again, this is coming from the same guy who STILL can't beat Super Mario Bros.

Got UTK2 and beat it in about a week. Hated the last operation. Also, I hate the operations that they keep throwing unexpected crap at you and when you can finally sew the patient up you have like .60 seconds left. I'm sorry, I can't sew that fast! They should totally stop the clock when you get there.

Unfourtunatly, It doesn't work, if you do...it sorta 'breaks' the game, you just stay in that position...In a way, it's a nasty glitch in the game that stops progress...I tried it, and couldn't do a thing, since you only can use it once...

I looked in a canny few walkthrough guides AFTER beating the game, and they all warned the same thing, "DON'T ACTIVATE IT TILL TOLD TOO" Or something like that
