You can get Dark Matter from Beat on Ultimate. I've formulated a plan in order to do this.

Chain 4 battles, with Reaper Beat at the end. During the battles, use your partner to get a Lvl. 3 Fusion, and then kill whatever enemies are left. When Beat's battle comes around, Joshua should be ready to use his Jesus Meteor. Use the Fusion, and Beat will die in one hit. If he doesn't, you need to raise Joshua's Attack.

Now you have another piece of Dark Matter.

Wow, that's much easier than giving up 10 scarletite... >.> or however many it is at Shibu Q...

I want that Hollow Leg sticker so bad, though. And then I have the problem that the taboo noise don't seem to show themselves when I want to harvest shadow matter... >.< ack. Well, it's because I'm trying to get Joshua's attack and bravery up a ton. and the food limit makes it hard.

For bravery I use those BRAVE + pills or whatever it's called that gives you +20 in like 3 bytes... but its expensive >.> I haven't found a low byte food item that boosts attack though :(

I think Scarletite is 1 Dark Matter, 3 Orichalum, and maybe 5 Tektite. I'm not sure about the Tektite.

I get Dark Matter from Reaper Beat, I get Adamantite from Taboo frogs on Hard, which I trade in for Orichalum, and I have a lot of Tektite, so I don't have to worry about that.

i usually get a ton of shadow matter since all i do is play on level 1 anymore. it's a lot easier for me, and it gives me reductions for my ESP'er points, as well as food.

I'm currently up to Week 2, Day 3 with Joshua and I think I'm having a problem. Jousha (set to auto) does very little in battle if anything at all. Most of the time, he just stands there and gets knocked around like a ragdoll. I know, he does have the ability to attack somehow since I've seen his Lv.1 Fusion once or twice. I've lost simple regular noise battles because he seems to be doing nothing. Help, Please?

Also, how do you get the scratch pins to work? I can't seem to get them work.

Try to boost Joshua's defense and practice battling with him, too.

As for the scratch pins, you have to scratch diagonally this wide. [----------------------] But diagonally. xD

butz: never use auto. always manual or semi-auto. auto is painfully slow, and it's just easier and faster to have control over your character.

You'll actually be surprised at how well mashing the D-pad in the general direction of the enemies works... (Or the um... other buttons if you're left handed) XD

Eventually, if you practice a bit you'll probably get better at balancing your attention between the two screens and you'll be able to fight with a bit more strategy.

I found each partner difficult to use at first but they get better.
Trust me Joshua almost got me killed at first but by the end I was feeling like a little god of the upper screen :karma:

Then Beat gave me trouble as well but now I'm racking up 10 stars in one brutal combo and letting him handle battles himself.

Though personally I set it to automatic for controls. I DO control the top screen as well y'know it's just that automatic means he's not standing there getting hit when I'm focusing on Neku. I still take over an take control manually when it's automatic, it still lets you do that its just that on automatic they take over fast when you focus on Neku.

ugh i haven't played this in a while. it's an excellent game but once all you have left to do is grind for higher HP it gets kind of boring.

Pretty much how it was for me. Haven't played it since mid-June. Still think it was the best masterpiece for DS since Pokemon. :D

I'm not sure if this has ever been addressed before in this forty page thread, but ever since I finished the game in May, I've been wondering why exactly the guns in TWEWY look the way they do? I don't know much about the anatomy of guns, so it's kind of hard for me to describe why they look so odd, but they do indeed look very unique.

Since you're still playing through the main story, the only blue noise symbols you'll see are extra bosses. Once you beat the game once, then the others which represent the bosses fought throughout the game will appear.

And anyway, you can't get the secret reports until you've beaten the game anyway.

@ButzPuff; I think TNS is rather good, but it would be better Wi-Fi. I use two Rhyme pins, Red Skull and the rest vary.

Yeah. It is a hard slog when you need to grind but if you stick with it, you can be ridiculously overpowered by the end of the game. When I finished the game, all my characters had over 200 Bravery and insane Attack and Defence. Even during the replay, I still find it entertaining but harder given some thing. Plus, getting full 100% on the game isn't damn easily. Took me several replays to get some Noise that refused to appear :(
