Phoenix I would like to see less of, only because I want to see more of Apollo's story. Old characters coming back...I'd like to see how they're doing but I'd rather not they take over. So brief cameos would be nice, but anything past that I'd rather not see. Klavier actually didn't bother me that much, but I'd like a new prosecutor - follows the tradition and all.
actuallyamitheonlyonewhothinkshoboasaprosecutorwouldbeincrediblyawesome? Ignoring that it's 100% out of character and such, but maybe if he thought who Polly was defending was wrong or something...offtopic.

1) No, I don't think he's a good guy, and no, I don't think he's a bad guy and no, I don't see humans as plainly being good or bad. I won't bother to explain my views again for the Nth time, humans don't live in a vacuum, and if you insist on a black and white view of a person, then so be it.
2) "Written as cruel", there you go, keywords. it is up to the creators to decide if they want to "pin" more things onto him, and I, for one, think he's suffered more than people know for the crimes he'd committed, and would like to see him get some peace, even if the peace means jail or even death.
3) and no, i can't tell you it's a sick parody, because it's not. and in the light of free speech i appreciate any argument but not derogatory ones where you assume what i'm saying is a sick parody.

Same here. The nutcases were WAY more interesting.
What I liked about Edgeworth and Franziska were that they started out as nutcases, but are supposed to develop to where Klavier is at right now. What I didn't like about Klavier is that he already started out at that point, so where's he going to develop to?
I want Franziska to return, even if she doesn't prosecute. Godot can't be there, and Edgeworth is getting his own game and is getting a little stale (although I do love Edgey). I DON'T want Klavier to prosecute.

as much as I'd like to agree with the "sadly" part, I am putting off further judgment because you may argue that that is what Takumi-san thinks but there's always a possibility for more. the AJ arc is just starting, I'd personally like to keep a bit of faith in everything, because even though the characters may be created and shown to be slightly one-sided, that doesn't mean it encompassed everything Takumi-san meant for that person to be.
It's true we shouldn't overanalyze a game, however it would be underestimating Takumi-san if we were to take things at face level.

He is over and done with, though with Dahlia the death sentence took years to carry out. His story was said to be fully rounded in Apollo Justice- There isn't much they can expand upon it, but that doesn't mean backstories don't exist. He was a rather style-over-substance maniac, which means he's got psychological problems and deserves peace and help as much as punishment. He may have been a bad guy, but all people who are hated must have their sad parts, humans don't just become such hated people without reason. That's all there is to it.
As much as you think I want Kristoph to return, I believe in my original post I said GS5 shouldn't bring him up at all, and just as a side note, I'd rather see him than Adrian/Edgeworth/Larry.

It's the first case it's supposed to be over quickly. Besides I don't think it was turned on its head any more than
being evil in 3-1. Of course she had a history to back it up while Kristoph was so paranoid about keeping his history secret that he went insane. (He was obviously already a bit obsessive, but he wasn't crazy... yet)
