So remember that improvisation show where four comedians did funny stuff and it was impossible to sit through an entire episode and not laugh? Well, lets discuss it now.

If you're not aware of it, Whose Line is it Anyway is a short-form improvisational comedy TV show. Originally a British radio programme, it later moved to television as a series made for Britain's Channel 4 before being produced in the United States as well, hosted by Drew Carey.

The show consists of a panel of four performers and comedians who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot, in the style of short-form improvisation games. Topics for the games are based on either audience suggestions or predetermined prompts from the host. Both the British and the American shows ostensibly take the form of a game show but the host arbitrarily assigns points and randomly chooses a winner at the end of each episode.

So discuss. Any particular performers you loved? Any phrases you can't get out of your head?

I liked the original British version better. Not the earlier episodes, those are a little too out there for me, but the ones when they started mixing the British comedians with Americans. They were also 10x more foul than the ABC version. <3

You are totally correct.

Fix'd again. XD

I haven't seen either version in quite a while, but I liked the British host better. He was wittier.

I think the british version was much better, apart from sound effects which was better in the american version.

I preferred the British version too.
But Wayne's songs were the highlight of the American version, for sure.
This show is among my list of top comedy shows for sure :D
Five US is always showing re-runs and making me a happy bunny.

My favourite game was always the one where they all have to sing a song one word at a time.
The name escapes me but it always was extremely hilarious.

My favorite games are "Irish Drinking Song" and the ones where you can only speak in questions or song titles. Props is also a cool game. I like the British version, but sometimes I have no clue what pop culture icons they are referencing. I think an issue of that came up in one of the UK/American comedians mixed episodes.

*set up a Petting their Garfield Booth* *put a sign up that saids $5 for me to pet there Garfield*

I like Drew's better then the one that was on Comedy Central. The guy feel so boring and I have no clue who is name is. They pick on Drew. They don't with that one guy and the stage is just bleh. So dark and gloomly like unlike Drew's. Also They show the Audience Unlike Comedy Central's

Anyone seen that Greenscreen one which is like Whose Line is it Anyway 2.0? I keep forgetting when that was on and I guess it didn't do to well like Whose Line is it Anyway cause I think it ended shorter then WLIIA.

I remember them picking on Clive Anderson. They just didn't do it as much as Ryan Stiles did with Drew Carrey.

I used to love this show, haven't seen the newer version of it though.

My fave was from when they'd do song titles:
"where have all the flowers gone?"
"Oklahoma"
