MAKOTO FROM AJ IS WAY BETTER. AJ MAKOTO HAS A BLUE HAIRED ARTIST.

THAT MAKOTO LOOKS LIKE A TENNIS/GOLF PLAYER.

...So he recruits youths to become the new generation of villains? Hmmm...

Hmm....

Actually I think I recall something. I remember we were discussing how sometime during one of the arcs Pearl may be reunited with her mother and, because mother can do no wrong, will help Morgan collect the Magatamas, thinking that it'll be for the greater good.

But if we were to explore this idea, how would Pearl meet up with Morgan. Remember that Morgan thinks that Pearl could be possibly dead, and Pearl thinks her mother is completely dead after the destruction. Could Gant possibly play a role in this meet-up?

It's possible, just a few things may need tweaking. Well, from what I understand, Mime seems to be the key connection between Pearl and Morgan after The Destruction of Kurain Village. Maybe there is a way to have Gant intercept Mimi's spywork on Pearl for Morgan and "fiddle" with it. Like indirectly turning Mimi into agent for his own needs somehow. Just throwing the idea out there.

THREE QUOTES, ONE REPLY!

Yeah. There's a lot of things I can see us doing that are dark while still keeping a fairly lighthearted series (see: all the shit we're doing to Daryan) but rape is just not something to be dealt with lightly. Period. But "raping" their mentalities to stop new heroes from forming and encouraging them to villainy instead? We might be onto something there.

Also, it seems that Daryan was destined to work with Gant somehow...

Spoiler: Two of the earliest canvases working on Hairaiser's design
Image
Gant is annoyed because Daryan is fiddling with his hair.

Image
So, next canvas, Gant goes back to being the one fiddling instead.

... maybe we SHOULD give Gant a fiddle...

Now... let's see... should Morgan be a Big Bad with her own Arc, maybe? If we look at it like that, then her arc could follow that of Gant - his fiddling setting up the roots for getting into Fey history and whatnot. Though... I'm not sure I entirely understand why he'd want to, unless he was deliberately bringing Morgan into the picture.

On the other hand, I really like the idea of Gant "fiddling" with the spy network - not because of the specific way of using it, but because manipulating the flow of information and indirectly controlling people is total canon for his character, something that establishes a solid link between his game self and his current SMako name.

The way he set traps almost sets a template for our big bads... a chessmaster, someone who convincingly has it in his means to set up a Xanatos Gambit.

(Not a Xanatos Roulette, though - I would already guess that if Gant knew that Daryan was the son of two supers he killed, he probably would be more careful about Daryan's help, since there's little to be gained from having an angry, superpowered shark against you rather than with you.)

Speaking of which... while characters like Kristoph, Alita and Daryan (all the killers from AJ, lol) are regular villains, we seem to already have several candidates for larger, big bad villains which could very well be the center of a major story arc of the Super Makoto plot. Gant and Karma are the only definite ones, but... well, let's look at the other killers in terms of villainy and scale.

Spoiler: Cutting all killers
Frank Sahwit: Pfffffft no. Petty theft. Bad liar. Horribly unremarkable. He was probably a horribly cliché villain that the past generation of heroes had to deal with. Their Sal Manella, so to say.

Red White: And on the other end of the spectrum, we have the man who killed Mia. We have no idea what to do with him, besides having him working with Von Karma, but he's definite Big Bad material. Looking at canon, he has a reason to somehow get involved in this ongoing Fey plot - a business associate with Morgan, too? - he's effin' rich, he's into information and blackmail, Grossberg was pretty much his bitch as much as April was... he punched Phoenix and then laughed about it. This guy is Lex Luthor material, I swear.

Dee Vasquez: Dee, too, could make herself into a big bad, easily. Especially since if we get into Mafia business, who better to be the main bad woman than cool, professional Dee, killing people and smoking her fancy pipe? I don't care if she's got a butterfly on her shoulder, she's a devil.

Richard Wellington: A snotty con artist who overlooks too many details. Next.

Morgan Fey: Definitely Big Bad material, don't think I really need to explain why.

Acro: Ehh... nah, not really a Big Bad. Sure, with his monkey minion he was able to set things up nicely but... yeah, this isn't exactly Redd White, here. Next.

Matt Engarde: Has his role. Granted, if we wanted to go big bad with him, wouldn't be too hard... we just have him overpower Holy Trinity or something. But do we want to? I don't really want to, myself.

Shelly de Killer: An awesome killer who's actually kind of a nicer guy than most in this series. I can't see him as a Big Bad though he needs a top notch role all the same...

Dahlia Hawthorne: Goes hand in hand with Morgan. And, well, Morgan's the chessmaster in their plots, not Dahlia. Unless we want to somehow twist the roles? Ehh.

Luke Atmey: Role settled. Not really one to change it and go into a major plot, I think.

Furio Tigre: In pretty much the same spot as Matt Engarde. Actually, even though Matt's generally more skilled than the two, being generally smarter and stronger, I kind of see Tigre as the one more likely to break loose and start making his own brand of evil, if either of them. Probably because for someone with the face of a major hero, his role is pretty small so far.

Godot: Role settled, and he's too much of a good guy to make him go from Neutral to Big Bad.

Kristoph Gavin: Now, while he may be big and he may be bad, I can't see him as a big bad. Why? Because his role is even more unique, as the archenemy of Makoto. As I've covered before, if we made him center of his own arc, that'd contain his role in the series, when he should have a permanent place on a special pedestal in the story. An evil pedestal!

Alita Tiala: If we wanted to make the Holy Trinity as the center of an arc, Alita would probably rise up as the main candidate for the Big Bad. Hotti's more of a mad scientist than a mastermind, and the other two original directors die. She's also young and in close proximity to Makoto, which makes her unlike most of the other good big bad candidiates who are old and distant threats. Very much up in the air. I think at some point we were discussing her as something good to keep around for if we do a Future Arc? But that was early in developing her Holy Trinity role...

Daryan Crescend: Poor guy's unstable as hell. On one hand he definitely could snap for good and start committing crimes that make his cocoon business look like chump change. On the other? I get the feeling with him, as apparently I'm not the only one, that he's more a slap in the face away from being an antihero rather than a big bad. But it wouldn't actually be that hard, would it...? I dunno. He could definitely do it, but it'd require pushing him past his limit and... well, the thought is pretty darn depressing. I've still got my fingers crossed for the magical happy ending version where Daryan is given the opportunity to recover from all his trauma and becomes BFFs with Konrad again, and the Gavinners go on a celebratory tour and then the characters will have weddings and babies and - *shot for excessive fangirling*

Kristoph Gavin: Now, while he may be big and he... hey, wait a second! Kristoph, you had your turn! List over!

What do you think? There's a TON to digest here I realize, but...

I agree that we should do more with Tigre, and if necessary, we could remove him from the HT pantheon to give him more independence. I'm unsure where we can take his character, though, as I don't have a very high opinion of his character from the original case in T&T. He's a total suck-up to the Cadaverinis, and his actions in that case showed a clear lack of honor and scruples brought on by fear of the Mafia. As a dirty loan shark, he's already a bit of a thug, but while he is undoubtedly evil he is also undoubtedly small-fry.

But that's just my opinion.

As for Matt, we definitely need to play up his more cunning aspects. The guy tried to blackmail a professional hitman, for crying out loud! In his current role he's made subservient to HT, Alita in particular as they do their two-pronged attack on Wocky and Alita's relationship. I think there could definitely be a buildup of tension between Matt and Alita, sinister minds with clashing interests, possibly tied into Alita's greater schemes and her eventual "downfall." I personally want to keep Alita around for a long while yet, because as we've currently painted her she's a freakin' genius who deserves more credit.

Alita is definite Big Bad material. It's also for this reason I suggest bringing Pal Meraktis and Turner Grey back to life, so the story can actively witness their downfall to reveal Alita as the true mastermind.

And to bring things fulll circle, there's another character that's been glossed over: Bruto Cadaverini himself. He was supposed to be an untouchable figure that inspired fear in thugs like Tigre, impervious to police investigation. We never saw much of him in the game, however, so it would be up to us to really flex that image of fear and power that he projects in that little portrait of his. Dee Vasquez is going to end up being very powerful at this rate, and her proximity to the Cadaverinis will have to lead to some pyrotechnics; who better to match her presence in the Mafia realm than the lord of the Cadaverinis himself?

Ending on a Cadaverini note, I'd like to ask, desperately, for ideas on Viola. And things not involving the Witchblade, because as cool and sexy as it is, isn't there something more in-character we can give her? Possibly more tied into the "witchcraft" bit we've been trying to work into hers and Dee's backgrounds? At this point it sounds like Dee's using more spells than Viola.

Right now I'm having a hard time shaking the image of Makoto being a super hero due to a topic I just spotted entitled 'Super Makoto'.
Seriously, I'm trying not to create an entire fanfiction about how Makoto can fly through the air and smite his foes through the power of his shiny teeth and suduce the masses through his girly, but charming looks (i.e his teeth), and his sport training actually being over-use of his powers. Makoto's his name, Prosecution is his game, but when danger calls, he becomes... SUPER MAKOTO *superman theme*
GO TEETH BEAM
Seriously, he could wrap that thing draped over his shoulder around his neck for a cape and everything

Heh. Double Makoto confusion has already begun. XD

Wait...

I knew someone was gonna make that joke sooner or later. :Brush-Sniff:

But this inquiring mind wants to know something. Once we get the cast of the Edgeworth game (Perfect Prosecutor or whatever it's called.) Are we gonna start to insert them into the already expanding Smako cast? I, mean, we know there has been discussion for adding the GS5/AJ2 cast when we finally get the game and it seems like that's gonna happen eventually.

MINOR ISSUE EDIT:
Pie wrote:

The real question is, Do we even want him in the story? Acro wasn't actually much a killer compared to rest of killers(Acro < Sahwit< Rest of AA Villians) Sure, we can have Money steal Makoto's notepad. And even then, do we need Acro for that? While I don't support animal cruelty, Gant can use "shock therapy" to "train" Money to do the same thing. Of course, just that's just an example. Not to mention, we already have a Greedy Villian-ish Hero, Regina and her stepping stone, Max. And they somehow got into interesting twist into working for The Eccentrist.

The Smako cast is pretty large and is eventually gonna grow more, do we really need a accidental handicap turned into a accidental villian in story at all? If we do, then we got come up with role both for him and his bro. And possibly, Moe and Ben/Trilo too.

The big honkin' list of characters has been updated to reflect the front page. Please note, "good" versus "evil" doesn't follow the exact same patterns as "hero" versus "villain". For the biggest example, see Iris the neutral good villain. Neutrals have a ton of examples... please note Romein LeTouse is listed under Neutrals, because Interpol's motives seem to be mostly their own rather than supporting the heroes like the local police force, and... um, well, since we have artistic license, whether they're heroes or villains or whatever will be up for interpretation. On his profile, his alignment is "classified".

By the way, for those inspired to do art for the new thread? According to the bucket, we have over 100 pictures of Sadistress. I BLAME BEE. But here's some stats from our list of tags to see which characters get the most arts and which could use more love:

I really don't know, but with all the writing and art that's been generated for it, it's easy to see this being produced as either an illustrated or graphic novel.

I've sent you both the guest passwords. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to ask us. I'd be happy to explain the stories and ideas behind each drawing. :scientific:

Gotta say, I fell in love with this project back when I first ran across it in...April? Sometime in the spring, anyway. Buuut, since I'm neither an artist nor particularly creative, I never quite got up the courage to actually post in the thread. >> Still, it's just too awesome to resist.

So, in an attempt to be helpful...ideas for Viola, you say? I dunno, maybe something to do with fire (since she threatened to burn down Tres Bien) or better yet, maybe she could be an alchemist/potion-brewer sort of witch? It's been a while since I last played T&T, but I'm pretty sure there's a lot of implications of her poisoning cookies/tea/coffee/whatever she makes. (EDIT: Haha, I completely forgot she was the one who actually poisoned Glen's coffee, so there's more than just implications.) But whatever happens with her, I hope she stays as creepy as she was in the game! Her character is the main reason I actually like that case.

...Anyway, I'm gonna go back into lurk-mode now. >>

Hands off, he's ours! :grey:

Talk about new life being breathed into the project, though! I'm really thrilled to see so many visitors interested in the project, and I'm especially excited that Regy's taken interest.

I mean, your timing couldn't be better, Regy! One of the main topics of discussion right now is the role of the mafia in the SMako world! (Oh, is this going to lead to daily lynches and nightly shootings? It'd better not, or Eldoon's going to have quite a lot of cleaning up to do...)

Think I'm gonna go get dinner soon, and then get to work filling in more of the information of our more underdeveloped wiki articles...

Yeah, I was mostly joking Pie. :)

It's just there's a flipside to people getting interested. At some points during a project people start going. That's where we're at at the moment. :(

But that's how it goes. I'm sure that we'll get our bounce back, and I'm glad you guys got yours. :) Sorry this is really off-topic. I just felt like talking about it.

Welcome to our boat during the summer. And the summer before, if I recall what Bee said correctly. People seem to work best for SMako during the school year, oddly enough, when their creative muscles are being worked more but they are looking for something to distract them from their homework.

Which makes sense to me. SMako seems to thrive not just on fannish tendencies, but on artistic ones, particularly artistic interpretation. It's interesting, because the heart of this project has really become the construction of ideas and story, rather than how it will be presented - enough so that medium has almost become a non-issue, the ideas and concepts could be adapted to one or many with ease.

Whoops, babbling. TL;DR: SMako has a lot of thinking involved. People don't think well in the summer. Ergo, as we get into fall, seems natural things come back to life.

Why do I think of Diablo III's Witch Doctor class? I'm not sure what we can do with a "spellcaster" type in the current pantheon of supers, because while we do have a number of magicians we don't have a lot of wizards...

Not that it really matters what I think, but I do agree about her character as whole. I don't think I was very clear before; when I said she was the reason I liked that case, I meant for her creepiness as well as the more vulnerable side she shows later. And the reason I even said that in the first place was because I remember some earlier drawings (namely this one, which I know is really outdated, but still) where she came across as downright evil, which seemed out of character for her. And as for the alchemist thing, well, it was just the first thing that popped into my head. Like I said before, I'm really not that creative. I'm afraid I'm not going to have much to contribute, unfortunately. >> But I enjoy seeing what the rest of you folks come up with!

It makes you wonder where he got the poison from though. I wouldn't be suprised if Furio manipulated her emotions to get it. :(

It's true, Arri: although GS3 had been out for a long time, none of the people on the project last year had had a chance to really play it, so "Urami's" full characterization had yet to be fully realized. We went with the initial knee-jerk reaction (she's a witch, burn her!) up until T&T's release, which saw a major reversal of opinion about her once we had the full story. Ever since, I've fallen in love with Viola's character, so now I have a knee-jerk reaction in the opposite direction. XD So apologies if I seemed a little enthusiastic.

I'm all for using the fire and poison bits from T&T that you suggested, and strangely enough they do suit the idea of a "witch" type of character. Truth be told the "Witchblade" bit was gratuitously sexy filler, but in the end it's a little out of character.
Spoiler: One last look

In any case, fire and poison are often seen as dark, destructive forces, typical domains for villainous characters. I was looking for a way to reconcile this stigma with Viola's gentler side, so in addition to poison, I was thinking there could be a connection to plants and fungi—Viola might have her own greenhouse where she cultivates the poison she uses, and as a witch she may even have some strange power over them.
Spoiler: Poison Ivy, but with fireballs

Yeah, plants and fire. One is a creative force, the other destructive. Viola is definitely a person with different aspects to her personality, some of which people can tend to gloss over due to first impressions.

I keep thinking and thinking, and my thoughts keep boiling down to two words...

Fire flower.

... it sounds good to me, though. I don't have a heck of a lot of interest in Viola, admittedly. I spent most of that case in glee of seeing Maggey again and enjoying Tigre's theme far too much.

I was actually thinking about Victor Kudo today, though I'm not sure the old man would be of much use in SMako. But my thoughts turned to him while I was drawing this...

Spoiler: Excessive pink?
Image

... not that I expect any such scene to appear, or the designs to be used, but I was listening to Healing Japan (remix of Healing Vision + Matsuri Japan) and the thought of a Dahlia versus Pink Princess fight popped into my head.

Should I do other DDR-inspired canvases? Other ideas that popped into my head were .59 Venom Makoto, Cutie Chaser Maggey Gumshoe... Daryan/Pie Miracle Moon, but that's not SMako, that's just me being a stupid fangirl... eh, maybe I should just, y'know, get back to work on the wiki...

Personally, all of this seems like a great idea and I completely support it. But, do we really need to completely kick the Witchblade concept?

From what I understand, The Witchblade is an ancient, smart, conscious weapon with supernatural origins that changes into different amounts of armor depending the danger the host is in. Plus, I believe, the armor can be shaped into weapons if the host needs it. Why not have something similar to that, only using a poisonious plant or something? Perhaps there was an accident(?) when she was making one of her poisonious plants and she became grafted with one of the poisonious plants she was working with. Then, the plant begin to act parasitic, slowly leeching away at her body, until she became endangered at point (assaulted by a Smako villian?) and it ending up protecting her (so that the plant can live on). Eventually, It forms a symbiotic relationship with Viola which allows her to have "super"powers including some kinda power of plants and fire. This is just the barebones idea, of course.

@Pie: Go for it. Maybe what you draw might end up giving up more ideas for us to use for Smako.

Just popping into contribute some shiny new art and a small idea that will probably be shot down anyway.

Spoiler: Lotta is cute .-.
Just Lotta... because I wanted to see what she would like if she retained some curly-ness in her hair. I think she looks cute..so bahhh

Spoiler: Firestarter
Okay so this drawing contributes to my minor idea.... My minor idea being that Viola has burn scars on her body which could contribute to why she wore such conservative clothes. She has said burn scars due to her inability to control her fire powers at first. SO THERE.

Spoiler: Dee and Viola
Nothing to particularly exciting... just Viola and Deee

Hmm...burnscar Viola interests me. I wonder- since in 3-3 Viola's accident was such a big issue is there any way we can possibly incorporate that into a possible power? Actually an interesting idea: Viola retained a massive brain injury due to the crash (hence her bandage). Maybe a similar accident could cause mind reading (hell if we can incorporate Tigre or HT in general to the accident it would be even better)

HOLY TRINITY IS A HOSPITAL.

HEROES AND VILLAINS GET INJURED A LOT.

THEREFORE, HT IS IN YOUR PLOT: HEALING YOUR CHARACTERS. (for better or worse)

No, healing is Eldoon's job. :eh?:

But I think since Tigre's at HT, that's reason enough for it to somehow be involved with Viola...

... but four characters is more than enough to chalk up to experiments there. Future plots screwing with existing characters, maybe, but we have more than enough with their powers originating there.

She's Italian, let her have her own fire flowers, dangit. Better yet, I'd like to see HT as an opponent of the Cadaverini's... if their dirty business is underground, Bruto could still know about it, somehow. They might want some of Viola's herbal research that led to her fire flowers, and he won't let them have it. Dun dun dunnn.

Apologies for double posting, but I need to show off: The gigantic pain-in-the-butt summary of the old thread project article is getting very close to done! Actually, it'd be done already, but when I started that, the breaking point between "then" and "now" was the wiki itself. I think that this thread is a much better milestone to use as a divisor.

Please, feel free to edit and polish that if you have the stomach. A lot of that I didn't really think much about, I just looked at walls of text of drama and tried to compress them into a single sentence. And then I had to divide it all up so it was a little easier to digest. The "HERE BE DRAMA" subsection still makes me green around the gills.

Also, here's some proof that I'm enjoying this fire flower concept for Viola far too much.

Spoiler: BADAH BAH BOODAH BAH
Image

NES Fireflower Viola and Goomba Wocky sprites by me. Drawn by hand right there in PChat, yeah. The zoom function helps. And of course, Bee drew the Viola plumber to go along with it. :>

Anyway. In just a bit I could be heavily distracted by something else, so I'm leaving the big summary where it is for now. When I get back, I should be able to finish it up, including the summary of this new thread, and then maybe I can get cracking on other articles.

Here's something to enjoy in the meantime: My Selene, shared by Bee back when Bruce/Angel first entered the project consciousness. Wicked awesome song, still. If you haven't listened to it, do so. If you have, listen to it again!

Listening to it again and seeing the bandname, with the very rough framework of the Gant Arc still in my head, makes me want to see Bruce, Angel, and Lana all present for the last showdown with Gant. Meaning Lana's probably going to have her arm twisted into fighting for Gant, letting him sit back and wait before he takes the battle into his own hands. I see a frozen Angel and a pissed Bruce. Though, of course, it'll have to be Makoto who's doing the real fighting against Lana and Gant.

Wow...that was fun to read. Awesome job, Pie!! :D It's so cool to see how far the project has come.

Spoiler: blahblahblahblah
So I did a couple more drawings today. Nothing groundbreaking or anything...just some random stuffs.

First is kind of a joke drawing I guess. When I heard that Ema was considered "the blue badger", I drew her in a cute blue badger costume. Since Maggey was formerly known as the pink badger, I'd been meaning to draw her in a pink badger outfit.
Image

Then I drew April cause I love her :D I just decided to put her hair up and make her all business-like.

Pink Badger Maggey is so cuuuuuuuute. *o* <3

All right, I think the rough and dirty project timeline is done now. Phew. It feels good to type a lot, as weird and creepy as that may sound. And looking back really helps one see forward. Something I've taken away from all this...

It was suggested that Misty Fey was driven out of superherodom by "something". This was long before Gant's role was developed into its current state, so this now works beautifully with his plot. However, rather than it merely being this, perhaps the takedown of Misty Fey was arranged by multiple Big Bads - a special request to Gant by Morgan Fey? And given her role in 1-4, Manfred von Karma should have his piece in this as well. Hell, at this rate, if we define all our Big Bads, we could build their collaboration around taking down Misty Fey.

... which actually already seems to fit very well with Super Makoto herself, in my eyes. Why? Misty Fey is an illustrator. It can't be that hard to forge a link between these two, paralleling Misty in the past with Makoto in the present!

And if Larry is the artistic "mentor" of Makoto (lol), maybe there could be something of value he could do for Makoto, since in canon, he himself was the pupil of Misty Fey. That would make Larry a critical link between two important heroes. Lol whut. Three, actually, if you count forging a connection between Makoto and Misty as forging a new, unseen connection between Makoto's story and Pearl's. And if he's still old friends with Phoenix, that makes him an indirect link between Makoto and Trucy and DAMN IT LARRY WHY ARE YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THIS.

More thoughts like this may come as I redigest all this information. Let me know what you think, guys, okay?

P.S. - still thinking about making Pie an Interpol Agent who replaces LeTouse after his death. Problem, though, is that her code number would absolutely have to be IPXX314159, and LeTouse is IPXX314206. Which strongly suggests Pie somehow got into Interpol before LeTouse. Lolwhut. Thoughts? Anyone care?

Hmm, maybe. Problem is, the 3-digit ID would still probably be distributed in order, wouldn't it? It doesn't really give another explanation that gets rid of the root problem...

And I writes it like I sees it. You make yourself part of the thread history, it gets recorded forever in wiki form.

Better make a good impression then XD

But think of it this way. If the 3 digits were given out in order, then if you had a list of names you'd be able to worm your way into their personal files, or into the network. Not very secure at all. By using random numbers, it's harder for people to hack in. They'd have to know your number.

... no, you're thinking of a list of names in alphabetical order. We're talking about "if the numbers were assigned in order of date joined", which is the logical system but even harder to figure out than the names of all Interpol Agents.

And if someone is trying to hack the system (I don't think we have a hacker villain anyway, maybe The Eccentrist), being able to easily match up names with numbers would be the least of Interpol's worries.

We have yet to really work out Interpol's general role in the story so far, so I think this is the least of our worries, as well.

Though with the scale that Pie's previous idea is taking... what with the developing history between Misty Fey and the rest of the cast... Interpol might be coming into the picture soon. Let's invest in that first.

I know, I know. It just bugs me. Numbers are there to mean things, you know?

And yes, this is getting very big very fast. Though, well, it's been an International conflict for a while, with things like Borginia and Manfred's empire.

Spoiler: Speaking of which

This is the kind of crack we get when I suggest Manfred make Antarctica the start of his empire.

By the way, offtopic, but Danny DeVito would make an awesome Manfred von Karma.

Pie, that was what I was thinking about. It'd be pretty easy to find out when they joined.

You see, details like that wouldn't be as encrypted (if it was encrypted it'd raise suspicion) as it's non-important information. A hacker would take all the information like that he could find and play around with it to see if it'd work. If he got the names of the agents, their joining dates , the area and country codes, knew one person's code, arranged the names by date order, and compared he'd have the code for everyone.

See what I mean? Random numbers is the only way to be safe.

... why wouldn't they encrypt it? If they employ undercover agents, there's so much information that's important or classified, I would expect them to keep all internal data, particularly personal information on their agents, locked up safer than Fort Knox. Everything should be heavily encrypted, no matter what the level of information. You would not be able to merely google a list of their names, never mind the date they joined. So, again, if anyone without authorization gathered that much information - a full list of names and the date they were first employed with Interpol, as well as the ID number of one agent - Interpol would already have a much greater problem on their hands.
