Did you ever have to help someone you knew with any of the PW cases?

Just the other day I helped my brother's girlfriend figure out that vase puzzle in 1-5,solved it in 30 seconds. She was silent when I was done.

So now you guys share your story.

I helped my boyfriend point out a contradiction in 1-2. It was something about "delivering a final blow" while the cause of death was "one single blow". It's funny 'cause after I helped him out I started getting addicted to the game and he never got past 1-3 'cause I always have the DS... :karma:

I have to help my oldest younger brother out from time to time. Especially on Justice For All (cases 3 and 4).

I've helped my sister several times. She's not very good at the games so she need allot of help with the more difficult cases (she finished 1-5 while I finished JFA and T&T :godot: ). She usually uses walkthroughs though.

Ugh, my sister is horrible at PW. It gets to the point that I'm pretty much playing the game for her.

The most recent examples is case 2-2. First she took about half an hour to figure out that Ini should have noticed the bloodstains on the costume. It turns out that she thought that Ini was talking to her sister BEFORE the murder, which is why she didn't think about the blood. Oh dear gosh, this is gonna be a long day. Then after that, she gets on the testimony that talks about her bringing her sister back to the channeling chamber. She has no clue what could possibly have been wrong with her not noticing anything on the way there. Even after staring right at the broken pot, and me shoving pearl's profile at her, while playing the chorus of Mr. Cellophane from Chicago (Cuz you can look right through me, walk right by me, and never know I'm there.) She still didn't seem to get that Ini would have to have seen Pearl.

So now I'm using the coupon system. She gets a certain number of coupons for each case. She can give one to me for a hint, but then she can't use it again. Hopefully this will get her to actually think things through without me playing it for her.

None of my friends or family play the game, so I've never had to help anyone with a case. :godot:

My younger sister can't be asked to solve the testimonies herself. "What do you do now?" or "What should I present?" So I just help anyway. She beats it and I'll be maybe to play it again! xDs *shot*

My brother and I Share our PW games. He played PW1 and PW2 first, so he helped me a bit with some cases, but I played PW3 (and now AJ) first, so I've been helping him with it. He admits that I'm a lot better at it than him :)

The funniest thing ever was when we tried to get my dad to try PW. He got to the first testimony of 1-1 but didnt get it, then when into this whole rant about how he was stuck in a logic loop and could get out(he just keep repeating the testimony). Needless to say, he didnt understand hwy my brother and I love PW.

I sometimes help my brother out, but for the most part he's able to play the games on his own.
Now if only he would get around to actually playing them more often: he's been on 1-5 for weeks...

My friend, 2-1. He's a year older than me, but got stuck on the first testimony. I thought it was more obvious than 1-1's first, too.

My friend detests being helped. He got stuck on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for half a year, possibly more, because he refused to look up the solution to a puzzle.

Even so, I have steered him a bit on a few occasions, mostly during the investigation phases where he doesn't mind being helped so much. In 2-4 I had to point out that Corrida's room had two screens of things to look at. Also, at the end of the case, he actually did the correct thing, but because the Judge's reaction is the same (or almost the same) whether or not you're right, he turned it off after presenting the correct thing, gave up for a while, and I had to eventually tell him his mistake.

I help my brother out all the time whenever he's too lazy and bugs me for a hint. Or when he hates the current witness and doesn't want to spend time presenting stuff. Hey Dan, you're probably not reading this, but HURRY UP AND FINISH 2-4 SO I CAN PLAY IT AGAIN.

Helped one of my e-friends (forum member Anna Cassidy) a few times here and there.
