I know this probably seems really odd, but I have nowhere else to ask and kinda trust forums more than Elljay.

I'm on a synchronised skating team and our coach has been pestering us for music ideas for next year. So I mentioned to her "Hey Pachuco!" by Royal Crown Revue (most people will probably recognize it from The Mask) and she thought it was a possibility. The only problem is that there has to be a slower tempo song to go with it.

And then I had the greatest idea ever. The version of "Godot - Fragrance of Dark Coffe" from the GS Jazz album or Orchestra album (most likely Jazz). It's a bit of a stretch since Pachuco is swing and the Jazz album is, well... jazz. The only problem is copy right issues. I have no idea what copy right law is like in Japan, and since the Jazz album hasn't been released in North America yet, I don't know if it would be under the Fair Use Rule of the United States Copyright Act of 1976 (or the Canadian equivilant). So anybody who's familliar with Japanese music trademarks, a little help? D: I know that it's illegal to repost screencaps from anime or pictures of a musical artist in Japan, and that's why there are so few Japanese fansites. Or something like that.

So yeah. Any help is appreciated. I kinda really want to be able to use the song, since a routine with GS music would be totally awesome.

What are the rules for licensed music that you already have to abide by?

I don't know much about laws.

But you can download the mp3s of the jazz album here and, like, burn that track to a CD or something if you wanna use it. =/

It's kinda funny how no one knows about finalturnabout even though it's mentioned in the audio section. O_o; I have all the PW music on my iPod from that site. I wake up to the Blue Badger theme every morning. :D Or sometimes The Great Revival.

I've actually been looking for PW music for quite a while. I had no luck with all of the websites I found. Luckily, I stumbled upon this. Now all of the PW music is on my iPod as well.
