"What does she want?" Mira asked, trying to figure out what's going on.

A female's voice came on. "Is this Sandra?"
"Claire? Is that you?" Sandra asked, glad the woman was on speaker phone. "So you're the one who channeled that spirit."
"Y-yes. But you knew it would happen eventually, didn't you, Sandra?" Claire asked.

Hearing the phone ring made BM jump. It was a wierd ringtone, and it was rather sudden. Dan's voice on the other side was relieving, he almost expected the killer to come on and say 'I'm in the car.' Then it switched to the woman's voice, which also calmed BM. He gave a sigh when he heard, 'Claire? Is that you?' 'Again?'

"Sandra, what's this all about?" Mira asked. "Does this mean we no longer need to work with the spirit medium?" Mira continued to drive when he asked that question.

"I need you, Sandra," Claire said. "I've lost my ability to channel."
"You didn't try channeling anothe spirit, have you?" Sandra asked.
"N-no, but I...can feel it," Claire replied. "L-like when...When Lisa did. Remember?" Sandra sighed. "Yes, I remember...We're going to the master's house now."
"Do you think she'll remember you?"
"There's no way she will. It's Mystic Maya who is the master," Sandra replied.

"If you don't mind, how do you know Sandra?" Mira asked Claire. "Also, if you don't mind, can you generalize where you're calling from? It'll help me separate what you two are talking about from the current case."

"Sandra and have known eachother for a long time. We grew up together in..." Claire began to reply.
"And you're calling from the police station, right?" Sandra interrupted.
"Yes, I am."
"This crazy lady wouldn't answer anything unless she talked to you first!" Dan interjected.

"Talked to who?" Mira asked, somewhat distracted by driving the car. His question sounded witty when he spoke. He waited for a response.

"To Sandra. I don't know why. This lady is-"
"So, what did I do, Sandra? Last I recall, I was channeling the spirit of a woman at the request of her sister, but..." Claire asked.
"But a different spirit took over. I think it wanted the magatama we found. Badly," Sandra replied. "The spirit was none other than...This is ridiculous! There is no way I'm right."
"You're never wrong even on your worst day," Claire said.
"I think the spirit wasn't a murderer. The spirit was the original owner of the magatama. Phoenix Wright," Sandra stated. "That is ridiculous, don't you think?"

Listening to Sandra's story, BM felt his stomach ache. Not from lack of food, but of guilt. He reached into his pocket, took out the Magatama and frowned. 'Looks like it all leads back to you.' Glancing out the window, he made a fist... but loosened up. 'No, I know what to do with you.' He slipped the Magatama back in his pocket and looked at the road ahead. 'Kur... Kah... Medium Village, here we come!'

"Yep." Mira said blankly, as he continued to drive. Then he realized he said that out loud. "Yeah, we should confirm that while in Kurain." Mira suggested, as he continued to keep his eyes on the road.

"Yeah. Good thinking," Sandra said.
"So, if that's what happened...Thanks again, Sandra. You saved me yet again," Claire stated.
"I guess that means I can hang up now. I'll meet you in Kurain soon," Dan said before hanging up.

BM frowned at the prospect of 'personal questions,' but he got really bored on cartrips, and neglected to pack anything remotely entertaining, or anything at all, so he wasn't all against it.
"We're going to play 20 questions with each other then?" He twisted his face awkwardly, as if it was trying to portray and expression but forgot how, and continued, "Sandra, you wanna start?"

"I can't answer that." Mira answered. Maybe was too busy driving. Perhaps he's hiding something.

'Jobs?' he thought, trying to remember everywhere he worked. "Well... one time I got a job at a Movie Rental Store..." His voice grew sheepish. "But that didn't go so well." When Mira gave his response, BM's Magatama instantly reacted, four locks and their respective chains flying on top of Mira.

"Can I have my turn?" he asked, gripping his Magatama tightly.

"Sure. Go ahead, BM," Sandra replied. She knew Mira was hiding something, but there was no point in prying. Afterall, she was hiding some things herself.

"And don't cheat." Mira said, referring to what chains BM saw, concluding he used the Magatama. He was still driving, so he could have just been saying things, but then how did he read Sandra's thought the first time? Mira made no note of his words.

"Erm..." he muttered, coming up with a question. He went ahead with "What's the strangest thing that's ever happened to you?" Nodding his head, he realized that may be a little personal, so he added, "That you want to talk about."

"I wish I could say something different, but the strangest thing that has ever happened to me happened today. All of today so far has been the strangest thing that has ever happened to me. The body parts in boxes, having to arrest my own brother, going back to Kurain...I would think this was all a dream if my mind could ever come up with such a thing," Sandra replied honestly.

"Same here." Mira said, once again not paying any attention to his words. But this time, he caught himself quicker. "Except that I was delivering those packages, and the rest of that story doesn't really apply to me."

'Funniest joke?' BM pondered, trying to think of a real joke he could tell. "There's this knock-knock joke about a cow that always makes me smile." he said, a little ashamed. "It's really not all that good though."

BM was a little surprised when Sandra started telling a knock knock joke. He shook his head to regain focus and went on with the traditional "Who's there?" His voice showed his confusion rather clearly, being slow and a little higher than usual.

"Impatient cow," Sandra replied. She liked how confused BM was. She waited for him to start replying before saying, "MOO!" in a ridiculously accurate cow voice.

BM stared blankly at her. "...Who's th--" he started, before being interupted by Sandra's moo. He nodded. "Yeah, that's the one." He almost asked, 'How'd you know?', but he figured that'd be a little rude and she probably wouldn't remember.
