"Interesting? Me?" Sho laughed. "No, I'm just me. Sho." She smiled. "Tell me about yourself! You're all mysterious-like.....with that mask...." She trailed her fingers over his ski mask.

Grüne suddenly found himself sweating slightly.

"I-I-I...The mask is...just there?" he squeaked, uncharacteristically nervous.

Dude, drop her. FAST. She's only gonna bring trouble...

What trouble?

"The mask is...just part of my person..."

"Aww, why can't you take it off?" Sho giggled. "It's okay. I get it. The whole "secret identity" thing." She laughed. "Just like that piece-of-shit Hannah Montana." She grimaced. "But you're much much better.....on so many levels...."

Gavvi smiled and gave the cue to Grune (I don't have accents on my computer, sorry.). She turned to justice and said, "Shall we eat?" she asked and picked up her fork, taking a bite out of the cake. "Mmm, this is good! Try some!" she said, turning to him and giving him a quick kiss before seeing Sho and Grune talking. (Hmmm...maybe he's flirting...eh, better to leave them alone and let them talk...)

Grüne saw the signal, but didn't play. He was too busy talking with Sho.

God, how he wanted to just drop this woman...it would just be quick and easy...

Smirking, the Takazato kid entered.
"If it's tunes that'll get the soul burnin' that you want, I'm here."
Taking Jade's place, he tuned the guitar he had on him just right. Upon grabbing the mic, his voice sounded throughout the ballroom.
"I'll be playing something that no one here probably knows. Enough of my talking. Let's Rock."
"If they let someone play LP, then I think it's time we had some fast shreddin' tunes in here."
KT thought as he let the pianist take the intro. Upon his set, he picked with precise timing and speed. Each instrument was played in perfect sync to the song.

fatalfeline listened to the song the man who replaced his brother was playing. The song was interesting, to say the least.

"He's pretty good," she remarked.

"Glad you all listened. Now, I'd like to play something from the land of the rising sun. It's a persona favorite, actually."
Clearing his throat, he grabbed the mic as the intro played. Keeping his nerves calm, he sang with utmost effort and emotion.

Name: Chase (for short) Age: 18 Gender: Male Appearance: Cut, but not a model. Has long, black hair and a good smile. Personality: Kind, but a comedian in the sense of his many jokes. Chase stormed into the ballroom with his formal suit and sighed. No girlfriend, still. He made him sick. He observed the beautiful room and knew tonight was the night.

Chase found himself leaning against the wall, ten minutes after his bravado-fueled entrance. How was I supposed to know that you need to take a date to ballrooms? he thought with a groan. Everyone in the room was taken or REALLY old. "Please, God, send me a chick!" he prayed silently, hoping against hope for an answer. He knew there was a slim chance (a VERY slim chance) of his wish becoming reality, but there was always a hope, however unfounded it may be.

Marissa entered the ballroom. The heels on her pumps tapped against the shiny ground. Few people were dancing, but she hadn't the courage. She sat down near a young man who was leaning against the wall, and smiled at him.

Chase ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Be patient, he told himself, be patient. Where there is a dude in need of chick, chick will always come. He slid down the wall to the floor, putting his face into his hands. I'll give it five minutes, he decided. If I don't see a person of the opposite gender next to me, I'll... He looked up, and to his side, nearly jumping when he saw the smiling girl there. "Whoa! Where did YOU come fro-" he stopped. My prayers have been answered! He said, "Sorry, I'm Chase."

Um, I think I'll try my hand at this roleplaying malarky. If I murder everyone elses storylines, sorry!!

Name: Elizabeth 'Mousy' Day
Age:22, although she looks around nineteen.
Gender: Female
Apperance: (Take a peek at my avatar :D) Elizabeth usually chooses conseravtive, even child-like, white or grey clothes that swoop below the ankles and button up right to the neck, mostly because her fear of being noticed gets the better of her, but also because she has limited funds and she can't afford to rearrange her wardrobe. Tonight, she is clad in a black dress that requires her to hitch it up so she can walk, a white shawl and black boots (resembling Franziska's), but with knee-high white socks instead of tights. Her hair is a slighty slivery shade of black, never in a bobble or tied back, with her signature black and white hat with a star emblem perched on the left side. Her skin is pale to match her white clothes, although, she has a small birthmark that is always hidden by clothing, on her right shoulder. The only thing that stands out is the colour of her eyes. They are bright blue, glittering jewels that have gotten her unwanted attention from many people. Though...there is one person she wouldn't mind getting attention from...
Personality: Looking and acting like a child, Elizabeth is never the first one to speak in a conversation, earning her the title of 'Mousy' in high school. She thinks of herself as too loud, even though she rarely speaks at all. These thoughts stemmed from her childhood, when her father died suddenly, and her mother became severly depressed. Elizabeth was shouted at and punished for being too loud, so she became quieter and quieter until she learnt that speaking only got her scolded. Then, after being carted off to live with her auntie and her seven cousins, she was ignored because she had lost the nack of communicating properally. When she spoke, people never listened, because she was so quiet. A vicious attack of inferiority soon decended upon Elizabeth, and she gradually shrivelled away from society and the outside world. Only a few friends ever got her to tear herself away from her many books. These friends stayed with her throughout grade school, high school and, eventually, eased her back into civilisation. She is still very quiet, but, once sure that you can be trusted, she will become the most caring and considerate companion. Despite her history, Elizabeth is very optimistic about life and insists that nothing is impossible. She can also get very defensive over her friends and family, or a person she admires. This is nearly the only time that she would speak without being forced to or with no other option. She can sometimes be so defensive, in fact, that she can hurt peoples feelings and even push people to the point that they start arguing back. Elizabeth has gotten into many fights with various people because she offended them, although she apologises repeatedly after one of these outbursts. These are the two sides of Elizabeth: the quiet, nervous, self concious Mousy, and the argumentative, defensive and all-round bully that comes from the anger and annoyance built-up from when she was ignored as a child. No one would ever guess that they were the same person.

Hope you like my OC. I'll start in the next post (double posting. Shame on me)

Elizabeth took a deep breath and lifted her dress, staring at the steps in front of her instead of looking back at the road. She could so easily just run home to her apartment. She could run home, change into her pyjamas and eat that ice cream she was saving for next Sunday. No. She was going to go to this ballroom dance like she said she would. She had bought a dress especially, spending all her rent money on looking the part so she could impress the other people.
"Oh, who am I kidding? It doesn't matter how much money I spend, I'm not going to impress anyone. I'm just Mousy. Mousy doesn't impress people. She just lies under the bed for hours and hours, reading book after bloody book!" Elizabeth grumbled to herself.
A chilly wind blew around her, making her white shawl flutter. It had been recommended by the shop assistant that Elizabeth had purchased her outfit from. Elizabeth didnt really care for the flimsy piece of cotton, but who was she to say no? So the shawl, along with the black boots she had borrowed from a friend, and the dress had been carefully put on before Elizabeth left her one bed apartment in the middle of the city. She liked her apartment and her homely surroundings, and she would much rather be there than outside in the cold. Elizabeth had had her doubts when buying it, like the fact that there was only one bedroom and the windows were overlooking a carpark, but it was close to everyone she knew and relied on. Especially her friends. Without friends...she might still be sad little Mousy, all alone in her own world, talking like a robot and eating like a hamster.
"I still AM sad little Mousy," Elizabeth whispered to herself as she made her way up the steps, clicking as she went, "I'm just a mouse in a frock."
Elizabeth froze. She was at the door. And it was open. A girl with a rather tight white dress glanced at her. She smiled, but went back to talking with the man who seemed so very interested in what she had to say. Elizabeth took a deep breath and, with a shaky foot, stepped into the room.
Mousy may not have impressed anyone, but I'm not Mousy anymore...

((Hope that was okay. Please let me be included in this wonderful roleplay-story!!))

As Marissa looked around, she saw a girl walk in and smiled at her. She surveyed the girl and thought that she looked ice as well. Then again, she thought EVERYONE was nice.

((Heh, heh...Yeah, my posts might be a little long. Oh, and Jude, I did look at the 'A Little Too Perfect', but I just couldn't fit my character in anywhere. Not that my character is fitting in here. But if you'd like me to post in that one, then 'course I will! I just didn't want to intrude :bellboy: ))

It was warmer inside, and Elizabeth had stopped shivering, when she fully looked at the large room she had entered. It was as big as...as...well, a big ballroom. The bright spotlights shone onto a stage where someone was playing some sort of music (she hadn't the faintest idea what song it might be). Elizabeth, for once, didn’t pay that much attention to the surroundings, but looked at the people instead. Specifically, the lady in the white dress. She was sitting beside a man with long, jet black hair in a rather formal suit. Elizabeth suddenly wondered if she should be wearing a formal suit too, but, seeing as how a girl with bright pink highlights was dressed, she didn’t worry too much. The man seemed to be enjoying the lady's company, judging by the noticeable twinkle in his eye, although the lady in the white dress had either chosen to ignore the twinkle or just hadn't seen it at all.
A couple were sitting at a table nearby, a girl with red streaks in her brown hair (maybe a relative of the pink-streak girl, Elizabeth thought idly) staring into the mans eyes lovingly, a content smile on her face. Elizabeth found herself becoming jealous of her. She wasn't jealous of her for having that particular man (not that he was ugly or anything) but she was jealous that the girl had a man at all. Elizabeth had never even come close to having a boyfriend. Hell, she'd never even spoken to a boy that wasn't her family since she was little.
Maybe I need to get out more... Elizabeth wondered, and turned her gaze to the pink-streak girl who was chattering away to a boy in a dark green hoodie and a...ski mask? Oh god. I bet he's got a gun...
Elizabeth blinked. She realised that she must look a little weird, standing at the door like a lost lamb. Or a scared mouse...
She quickly added up her options. She could go over to that bar or she could go and say hello to the kind-looking lady who smiled at her. Although, both of those ideas were flawed. If she went to the bar, she would have no idea what to ask for, and she didn't want to worsen her situation by being seen as a girl that had never even had a thimble of alcohol. And if she went over to the kind lady, she might interrupt her conversation, or even worse, she might turn out to be not so kind after all. Which one to choose? Only one thing to do.
Ini, mini, miney, moe Elizabeth whispered the rhyme that had been chanted in her school playground Catch a mousy by the toe. She'll never squeal, so don't let her go. Ini, mini, miney, moe.
The kind lady. Elizabeth nodded to herself, and started to approach the two people sitting to the right of her.

Marissa glanced over at the girl who was approaching them, and then turned to the waitress and ordered some water. She had once tasted alcohol and had spent the rest of the party she was at gargling mouthwash in the host's bathroom. How embarrassing.

Elizabeth saw the lady turn, and say something to a nearby waitress. I hope she isn't asking her to make me go away... she thought nervously. She tensed as the waitress appraoched, but blew out a shaky sigh of relief when she walked straight past her.
Elizabeth stopped and stared blankly at the lady, about three foot away. She wasn't good at introductions. Not one little bit, "I-I...um...uh...M-My name i-is...My n-name is..." Elizabeth drew in breath "Elizabeth. My name is Elizabeth Day."

"E-Edgeworth?" Elizabeth asked, ignoring the awkward look on Marissa's face, "As in, Miles Edgeworth? The prosecutor?"
Marissa cringed, but Elizabeth kept going. The only topic that Elizabeth could ever talk this much about was the almighty Miles Edgeworth, "You two aren't married, right? You're too young. So...you must be either his relative, his child or a concidence. If I am correct, Miles Edgeworth's parents both died when he was young. He had no other family at that point, so he was adopted by Manfred Von Karma, making Franziska his only sibling. As Franziska's second name was still Von Karma, you cannot be her, aside from the fact that you are not her age. As I said, Mr Edgeworth had no relatives, which takes away the possiblity of a cousin and so on. So...unless you are merely graced with the name Edgeworth, I would guess that you are his daughter. Well, you do look a bit like him...and the way you speak...so polite. Like he is."
Elizabeth froze, realising that she had just talked for a solid 20 seconds. She did like figuring things out, in fact she loved it, but had never felt that she had need to figure anything out before. She had spent so much time researching the law and, particularly, Miles Edgeworth. But she didn't want Marissa to think she was weird, detective wannabe...

Marissa looked away, nervously bringing a hand up to her mouth.
"Well, yes. He is my father. But he disappeared when I turned sixteen and I haven't heard from him in two years. I'd give anything just to see him again..." She trailed off, burning tears almost welling up in her eyes. She choked them down and forced a wobbly smile. "Why don't you come sit down?"

Elizabeth's cheeks burned furiously as she realised how insensitive that must have been, "Oh...I-I'm sorry...I...I didn't..." Elizabeth's quiet voice trailed away into a whisper. Marissa gave her a shaky, albeit forced, smile and offered her a seat, "T-Thank you..." Elizabeth nodded and took the offer of a chair gratefully. Her boots may have been lovely, but god did they hurt.
Elizabeth looked at the pretty white dress Marissa was wearing, and said the first thing that popped into her head, "I l-like your dress."

Chase was about to say something, but another girl came by and started talking to Melissa. He sat and listened quietly, but when the name 'Miles Edgeworth' came up, he frowned in disgust. "Miles Edgeworth," he spat. "I hate that guy."

Chase had a bad experience with Edgeworth. Two years ago, Chase was involved in his first ever car chase, something he did regularly afterwards in pure defiance. He had hijacked (or, as he called it, borrowed,) a motorcycle, and evaded police capture for all of a week, until one day he ran out of gas money. Chase was sent to court for Theft, and took 6 months of Juvenile Prison. Miles was the prosecutor.

After recalling his experience, he smiled slyly. He had more than made up for it after his time.

That Ferrari of his drove like a dream.

Marissa frowned slightly. "Hm. Well, he disappeared a while ago, like I said."

Elizabeth's mouth hung open. She stared at the man accusingly, glaring at him through her sapphire eyes, "H-How can you hate Miles Edgeworth? He is so...clever and witty and respectable and honest! He has never done a bad thing in his life! You have no reason to hate him! You're just...jealous!"

Chase snorted in disgust. "Jealous. Yeah," he said curtly, rolling his eyes. "I'd just love to be him, throwin' kids with no family in Juvie for half a year on a BS charge," he spat sarcastically. "The owner of the bike I took was drunk, and he hit his girlfriend. I took her and the bike away, ran from the cops, too 'busy' to listen, and got nailed for possibly saving two lives and a really sweet bike, all because some clever little prosecutor decided he'd get a medal for screwing me."

"...No...family?" Elizabeth asked softly, suppressing her anger long enough to ask her question, "You...were by yourself...?"
Elizabeth couldn't understand what the man had said. How can someone not have any family? Families the building bricks of life, the strings that stop you from falling, the shield that protects you from the evil things in the world. Well, her 'family' was what she called her friends. Her real family had never taken much notice in her, except maybe one or two that tried to understand her way of thinking, and disregarded her as some sort of lodger in their house that they couldn't get rid of, but didn't want to try and like. Her family was just a few scattered people that wandered in and out of Elizabeth's life, but her friends had their own reserved seat in her heart.
"How did you s-survive without family...?" Elizabeth persisted, "If y-you have no family, then who did you tell your s-secrets to? W-Who did you get Christmas presents from? W-Who looks after your goldfish w-while you're on holiday?"

"Me, myself, and noone else. By the way, I don't have a goldfish," Chase said. "My parents died when I was little, car crash. Actually, they were murdered. Assassin," he added coolly. Chase had come to grips with his parents' deaths and had made due throughout his life. He absently pulled a necklace out out his shirt, which had a small key with the engraving of a skull on the head.

"My parents gave me this when I was born," he explained. "It's the key to the sweetest, awesomest, most ridiculously crazy car of all time. That's why I go around, looking. It's become more than a hobby, I guess."

Marissa rested her chin on her had, obviously interested.
"May I see this car of yours?" she asked curiously.

Elizabeth clapped a hand to her mouth, her cheeks flushing red "O-Oh...I'm so sorry...I-I didn't...I-I just thought.."
Well done, Elizabeth. You've made a real mess of this. You finally have a simple conversation with someone who seems nice, and even manage to talk to a boy without fainting, then you go and start giving off about his dead parents. Real smooth...

Name: Nadine Garbett
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Apperance: Average height, with long, straight, dark brown hair. Wearing a long blue dress that is quite tight, to show her curves.
Personality: Generally a nice person, but can be considered a bit too serious. Rather deep, and understanding of people.

--------------------------------------

Nadine walked into the Ballroom, looking round at all of the people. There were two people who she assumed were a couple, dancing, and there was a small group of people talking in the corner. She decided to give the couple their privacy, so she walked gracefully to the chatting people.

"Hey."

((Yay! Another character!))
Elizabeth spotted a girl strolling towards them. She smiled a little at her blue dress, tearing her attention away from the man and Marissa.
I wish I could wear blue... Elizabeth thought. I only suit black and white...apparently.
As the woman got closer, Elizabeth nudged Marissa's foot with the toe of her boot, nodding to the girl. She secretly hoped Marissa knew who the approaching girl was, so, through listening to what the girl and Marissa would say, she might be able to find something more about Marissa herself. All she knew so far was that she was the daughter of Miles Edgeworth, she was abandoned by him when she was 18 and she made sometimes her own clothes. Elizabeth had a gut feeling that Marissa was hiding something..Although that feeling could just be her stomach complaining because she hadn't had any dinner yet.
"Hey," said the girl nonchalantly.
